After making that Harley gifset, I am just struck by how much Tony Stark listens to others and asks for input.
Tony: “They’re coming in hot, any second. What’s the play?”
Rhodey: “Well, we want to take the high ground, okay? So let’s put the biggest gun up on that ridge.”
Tony: “Got you.”
Tony: “Call it, Cap.”
Steve: “Alright, listen up. Until we can close that portal up there, we’re gonna use containment. Barton, I want you on that roof, eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays. Stark, you got the perimeter. Anything gets more than three blocks out, you turn it back or you turn it to ash.”
Harley: “Anyways, I would have added in um… the retro…”
Tony: “Retro-reflective panels?”
Harley: “To make him stealth mode.”
Tony: “You want a stealth mode?”
Harley: “Cool, right?”
Tony: “That’s actually a good idea. Maybe I’ll build one.”
Maria Hill: “Lab’s all set up, boss.”
Tony: [pointing to Steve] “Uh, actually, he’s the boss. I just pay for everything, and design everything and make everyone look cooler.”
Tony: “Okay, anybody on our side hiding any shocking and fantastic abilities they’d like to disclose, I’m open to suggestion.”
Tony: “Come on. We got a situation. See him down there? He’s in trouble. What’s your plan? Go.”
Peter Parker: “Um… Okay, okay… Uh… Okay. Did you ever see this really old movie, Aliens?”
… but of course he always thinks he’s right, right? And he never listens? He’s all ego.
People are either blind or they just see what they wanna see, seriously
