If you're making an official phone call, for example calling to make an appointment, enquiring after a flat, hiring a service etc. that type of call, do you begin the call by introducing yourself?

For example: Hi, my name is X and I'm calling to make an appointment.

I'm curious to see this because I lived in another country and had a brain fart and accidentally began a call by introducing myself, like I would in my home country, and the recipient sounded very amused and I knew it was weird and it really is because the service person will do absolutely nothing with this knowledge.

a baby shen wei inspired by To the River | 过河 by @hidey-writes(/@hideyseek) !

an of course notes (that will be more fun after you read the fic, if you haven't already!) and sketches:

-I did take liberties as far as color palette here, as in the fic shen wei is floating in sunlight. I wanted some contrasting orange/blue just for the Vibes(tm). very tempted to do a second version with lighter greens now that I think about it...

-the first thing in my mind for this was the reflection of the mountains in the river and the color of the water fading to black to reflect the sky!

-his mask was also floating in there with him in my first drafts but I got lazy and decided not to include it lmao

-I HATE the shape of shen wei's sword hilt. I hate it. It's cool in theory but then you draw it and it's like. Why is it Like That.
