“Tryna’ get you to admit you’re oh so happy to see my beautiful face right now. Nothing more, nothing less. ‘Sort of happy’? Excuse me Katia Park, you need to be happier than that to get me to stay.” He scoffed, acting serious for the moment as if he were contemplating leaving. He wasn’t, and her grin just brought out his once more as he dropped that act and chuckled softly. “How’s it odd?” He asked curiously. “Yes, no. I refuse to be your servant.” He laughed a little at the face she pulled after. “I’m cool with being your cuddle machine, that works both ways and we both know I give the best cuddles here.” He wanted to make a comeback at Tia’s next statement, but somehow he felt like he’d be caught in a lie. “Alright, so you caught me and I’ll admit it this time, but you need to admit I’m pretty hot too. It’s a mutual thing here, come on.” Sage half snorted at the females growl attempt, finding it more amusing than threatening because really, what was that supposed to be? “You are not made for growling.”
“And whilst you suck at explaining things, your confidence level is still on point I see.” He meant it in a sort of teasing way as he let his arms rest around her, just holding her there now as he spoke. Sage knew Tia well enough to know her confidence, to know the real confidence and the fake, but really, did they not all fake confidence from time to time? Either way, he knew Tia well enough to know about it, he could practically read her like a book sometimes. “You won’t.” He pulled her closer, hand drifting to her hair now instead as he let his hand stroke soothingly through it. “And if you do, it doesn’t matter. We all make mistakes sometimes, nobody should judge you for it.. and if you do, then just come running to me and I’ll chill with you as long as you want.” He couldn’t blame her for that thought though, Sage had himself, even more so now that he was back anyway. “I should– and I do.” He rolled his eyes, but then he was laughing again as she kept tickling him, and damn, he hated now that she knew his worst places. He wasn’t surprised when Tia got the upperhand too, or at least he gave her the satisfaction for a moment while she was on top of him before his hands darted out to grab hers and stop her. “I came here to cuddle you and this is the payment I get in return?”
"Do you have a death wish? Yah!" She took a grip on his arm and pulled it towards her. "Don't even act like you have the choice of leaving, because you do not." Lifting an eyebrow she shrugged, her hand that had gripped his arm moving down to gently hold his wrist. "Cause, giving me something over you is an odd idea!" Eyes shut, relaxing into the moment, her hair in some messy up-do that she had thrown together after a long afternoon falling into her face resorting in her blowing pieces away not quite elegantly. "That's why we are power best friends, a scary force of nature." Tia gave a dry laugh, "I can too growl, I'm like a lioness or something. Or maybe a werewolf? Either way, let me hear your growl and I'll be the judge on it. Let's see who growls best then."
Then reverting her eyes she smirked, “And how would you explain it then? Are you the master of explanations? I think not!” Letting him pull her closer, the simple gesture had soothed her. She too was messing about with the fabric of his clothes, letting all the stress leave her just for now. That was something she could do when they were like this. “I’ll judge me. Or my –the anxiety thing will flare and if I had a panic attack on stage that would so..like not hot,” Not hot came out instead of, horrible or horrific. Letting others know her weaknesses wasn’t something she’d been keen on. “As much as I would chill away with you, our jobs don’t really work like that sometimes,” It ended with a grumble. She got into a more comfortable position on top of him even with his hands stopping her, her back leaning down as she grinned. “You also said I could use you for anything I wanted, so this is your own fault,” Tia hadn’t even noticed that her face had gotten so close to his, her own words seemed to cloud her brain. A feeling from months and months ago resurfaced from when he went away. It was a jarring time for her. Voice mumbled, a stray word crept out. “Anything..” In a blink of an eye, she was brushing her lips across his. It was impulsive and the completely lost on feelings girl didn’t for a damn moment know she was going to kiss him, until she was.
