She really liked fighting with him. Almost as much as she enjoyed fighting with Brandon, which was quite a bit. She liked it when he tried to look cool and fucked up and made her look really good, but that’s just because it was all fun and games. It was harmless. She knew he didn’t take it too much to heart. Aside from their healthy competition, she really did like when he was being a big softie. Partly because it was easier to bug him when he was all shy, but partly because it was cute. They didn’t have to fight for status or dominance when he was being himself–Ahki was very clearly the more dominant one and that was just how she liked it. And while she liked fighting with him, she was growing to realize that she liked this a lot more. How long had it been since she’d been around someone she didn’t want to throttle? How long had it been since she’d cuddled someone? A long time; a very long time. It wasn’t something she’d expect herself to like, but she really did like it.
She hated him. She hated how gently he was touching her. She hated the butterflies in her stomach that she knew were there because of him. She hated how smug he was because, of course, he knew exactly what she was thinking. And she especially hated how much she liked him. She scowled when he kissed her first, a little peeved that her dominance was being challenged, but not peeved enough to do anything about it. Not really peeved at all, she supposed. But Dong Ahki had an image of being perpetually annoyed, and she wasn’t dropping that for anybody–especially not Seok. He knew too much. “You’re lucky you’re hot. Otherwise I might punch you,” she grumbled insincerely, glowering at him.
She snorted, rolling her eyes. “That was the stupidest thing you’ve ever said,” Ahki told him, ruffling his hair affectionately. She got it, though. She and Tia were pretty close, but she didn’t reveal everything to the older girl. Ahki was dead set against revealing everything to anyone. She had trust issues, and didn’t trust anybody with her closely guarded inner workings. She groaned a little in disgust as he wrapped himself around her, though she wasn’t actually all that upset. Her movement was incredibly restricted, but she didn’t hate that. With a giant sigh, she murmured, “Okay, I have a proposition……I get cold really easily and you’re really warm so…how about whenever I get cold you can do this?” It was a weak excuse–both of them could see that– but she was trying to preserve her wounded pride. This was far too much for her.
He chewed his lip as he thought for a while, lost in his own brain as she curled up in his arms. It was amazing how quickly his attitude towards her had flipped, and he was becoming increasingly glad that he had kissed her, even if it had just been an attempt to piss her off and get her to leave. Now he wanted anything but that. He wanted to keep her there until the next afternoon, when he had to do a live broadcast with his group members. Even then, he wouldn’t be against blowing it off just so he could hoard her time a little more. Still chewing on his lower lip, he took another moment to think before tugging on her arm slightly, getting her attention. “Um, Ahki....” he murmured quietly, looking at her earnestly while trying to put together what he wanted to say. “Okay um....this is kind of a two part question....um.....Do you have a schedule tomorrow? And um......well...uh....would it really be so bad if um....if Brandon found out? How....h-how much trouble would you get into if you stayed here? Because um....this is nice...and I don’t want you to have to leave,” he admitted, blushing a little but facing her head on regardless.
“You think I’m hot?” he asked with a grin, half teasing and half....well, relieved. Relieved, happy, flattered...warm and fuzzy....the works. “Like I said before, the face is the moneymaker. Don’t punch the face. Punch the gut instead. I’d probably even rather you can me, though I’m still leaning more towards the gut. Or just like...slug me in the arm or something, that’d be okay...” He kissed her once more, teeth grazing her lip a little before he pulled away.
He snickered, tightening his legs around her and momentarily flexing his thighs, squishing her before he brought his hand up to brush her hair away from her face. “Hmmm....I like that. But I’m adding to the deal; sometimes I get freaked out when I’m here alone and there’s no one else in the dorm--you can tease later, but just hear me out. Whenever I get too freaked out, you have to come and we can do this and you have to make sure I’m not all alone. How’s that for a deal?”
