There was a challenge going around on Instagram called Dream Week, where the goal was to create seven illustrations over the course of a week using prompts from the prompt list.

Because I’m Extra, I decided to make a story out of it. I planned this comic (and developed the characters) in a day, so for as little prep as I had, I’m pretty pleased with it.

I’ve really been pushing myself lately in terms of backgrounds and full body poses, so this piece was pretty self indulgent in nature. 

The idea stemmed from the concept of neon hoops wrapping around a figure, and I decided to play around with the clothing she was wearing, since interesting clothing is very much a comfort zone thing for me.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse ( art dump part  2/4 )

Here are some very early development artwork for Spider-Verse. Many of there paintings were done to develop the look of the film, the way things were broken up, abstract brush strokes, naturalistic light, etc. It’s nice to see many of these elements were kept and translated into the final film. You can see the changes stylistically especially in the set I design for Mile’s parents home here compare to my part 1 post~

As per usual, I’m shit at keeping platforms that aren’t Instagram updated, but I’m back with some character sheets I did for a cyberpunk comic I’m currently working on planning out. If it’s not clear, these two are girlfriends. Sexuality notes that weren’t mentioned; Tora identifies as demisexual and Ava identifies as lesbian.
