Wicked Game
Hi, this is a part of a Jegulus fic I´m writing
Dumbledore was scared. James knew it.
More deaths came with each passing day. The sky was dark at every hour, marked by that horrendous symbol burning above it.
The trainings they forced themselves through (meant to prepare them for battle) had become the most unbearable hours of the day. No one wanted to be there.
They were tired.
And because of that, the missions were going worse.
Remus was gone, sent on another secret mission.
Peter hadn’t even attended Marlene’s funeral. He had been… too shaken. Too quiet.
Sirius, on the other hand, was different.
Focused.
Driven.
There was something almost dangerous in the way he threw himself into the Order now. Like he was trying to prove something, to himself, or maybe to the world.
He wanted to end it.
To destroy the Death Eaters.
James watched him carefully.
He knew what Sirius had gone through before he escaped his family. The torture. Everything they had done to him… just to force that mark onto his skin.
But Sirius had fought.
He had chosen.
And he had stayed true to himself.

I still don't know my purpose on this planet but I do love reading fanfiction.
