So my boyfriend had a day of surprises and gifts for me bc I was celebrating my first bday with a significant other and essentially someone can hit me up with vday plots or any plots bc he has yet to finish with them. I’ll be on tomorrow morning to do replies and such. xx

His eyes widened when she instinctively raised her hand to apologise he shook his head at her, he bit his lip “I’m sorry you have done nothing wrong I’m just a little jumpy today .” He wrote “you.. you have nothing to apologise for.” He wrote. Sam paused and listened “that’s kind of you. I appreciate it greatly.” He wrote assuring her. “Exactly.” He wrote smiling big “that was Perfect.” He took his notebook turning to a blank page and set it down writing “how are you?” On the page he placed it down and pointed to it before sigining the words slowly.

Sensing his tension the brunette added a lit to her voice. “I’d offer to give you something to really be scared of,” She gave a dramatic wink. “but I’ll save it for another day.”  Following his lead once again was harder, her fingers tangling in confusion multiple times. “Apparently I am not too great at this either..”

Still, the scent of chocolate chip cookies drove her nuts, so she grabbed one from the girl sitting next to her. It wasn’t like the girl had cared, the first time Aubrey had asked. “Okay. Cool. Sam shook his head. “It’s not even my major. I just needed a science.” He wrote with a soft smile and a silent laugh. “I’m sorry?” He wrote a little confused. “Make you what?” He wrote. “I don’t think.. no really.. you don’t have to pay me back at all.” He scribbled in the notepad. Sam gripped his pencil and almost jumped at her congrats he let out a silent chuckle and nodded.. his anxiety fading Alright.“ He wrote sam brushed one of his hands against the palm of the other then made partial fists index fingers up and bright them together before pointing to her, "nice to meet you,” he signed mouthing the words.

“Oh sorry, I didn’t mean to get ahead of myself. I was asking if you’d mind using your excellent penmanship skills to make a calligraphy set for my dorm.” Instinctively her hands shot up in apology ready to correct the fault and Maeve had to fight the urge to comfort him, instead opting to shoot backwards and offer him more space. “Sorry about that. I was just trying to be supportive. It isn’t my.. specialty. As you can see.” Following his lead she made a fist, mumbling as she attempted to follow suit. “Nice..” Her dominant hand brushed her left palm. “To meet..” Her fingers forged fists and she bumped them together. “You.” Her fingers pointed towards him as she finished, smiling softly.

“Well I have to agree,  “If it could get me out of biology Im set.” he wrote, Sam smiled a little thankful she had kept a reasonable amount of space, the night before had been hard, a night terror of his poisoning sending him into a panic, It didnt last too long but he didnt get much sleep and more on guard than usual, “ I dont know.. I wouldnt mind teaching it but Im not interested in payment of any sort,” he wrote with a soft smile, “Oh yes, It would be perfectly alright, Oh no im not like that, Im just going to have you read these three books on signs tonight,.” he wrote with a mock serious face before a smile graced his face. “Im only teasing, “If you get bored or anything like that, if its too much, its okay. Did you want to start with the alphabet?” he wrote, he couldnt believe she had just asked, just like that.. most people either speak so loud to him they are practically yelling, think he is faking, or get annoyed by him writing and walk away

“I don’t know if I could get you out of biology. I sadly don’t wield that much power. It’d be nice if you could make something for my dorm? It’s pretty bare. I’ll let you pick it, but I’ll pay you for your services. So now you have your first client. Congratulations!” She threw her hands up, shouting out in glee. “Well..Can you teach me how to make an introduction first? I’d like to properly introduce myself.”

Sam blinked a little taken back by her exclamation, A small smile appeared on his face with a silent relieved chuckle. He shook his head “No its not too bad, My penminship was horrible before so it has its good points,. The only issue is when the ink runs out or the led snaps.” he wrote “Or someone gets inpatient,” he stopped writing and lowered the notebook the smile now turning to a calm serious look on his face. “Teach you Sign?” he wrote with a questioning look on his face. “I dont mind writing honest, I would be happy to but its alot too learn, It would take a while.” 

“Ah, fancy penmanship can get you places.” Brushing her hair from her eyes, Maeve took the seat beside him, making sure to leave a reasonable distance. “I’m sure you could get great good money for something you have to do on a daily basis if you offered. I’d hire you.” The shape shifter winked. “Yeah, if it’s okay? It would be nice, you know, being taught by you than one of those boring teachers.” Maeve couldn’t help but chuckle, shrugging her shoulders, unabashed by the implications. It was common sense that foreign language teachers were always the worst.
