She was as easy to find in that crowd as a rose among nettles. Everything was made bright by her. She was the smile that shed light on all around her.

psironic replied to your post “WE DIDN’T GREET THEM @asterlust @psironic Hi, we’re Alpha, we’re your...”
Like bees?
Not even remotely but points for trying!
okay but the sheer fucking glee on the face of the person taking this photo is the best part about this
Good morning! The body we use for this blog just woke up!
It’s a beautiful day.
swords just… aren’t naturally “wooshy” enough for me when you swing them. that’s why I add the noise. That’s why I add the noise, Susan. That’s why I add the noise. Susan

honestly? Im sincere and so full of love and no one can ever take that away from me
The future is fantastic, the past is fantastic, the present is beautiful.
You just have to APPRECIATE IT.
asterlust replied to your post: asterlust replied to your post: ...
i………………don’t really understand.
Take one person, and make them a lot of people. Then, without changing the amount of bodies you have, make it one person again.
That’s us! We’re one person (sorta) with many bodies!
asterlust replied to your post: WE DIDN’T GREET THEM @asterlust @psironic Hi,...
we?
Plural! Hivemind! We exist as a collective consciousness!
WE DIDN’T GREET THEM
@asterlust @psironic
Hi, we’re Alpha, we’re your local infinitely expanding hivemind, we’re here to party. Who and how are you? Have you ever been skydiving? Petted a hairless dog?
demonteaz:
SO YOU’RE BASICALLY SORTA KINDA INSTINCT….EXISTINCT
Yes kind of?
But also no, we’re alive and thriving. We’re intergalactic now! We also can blog!
demonteaz:
doooo you have like a main body????
Not really, no. We have bodies we like to take pictures of, and one for certain purposes, but no... “home” body.
Our original form was a species of plant that went extinct eons ago!
demonteaz:
i ammmmmmmmmmm a little too drunk to picture this!!! but you sound really cool honestly!!
That’s fair! We’re drunk sometimes, in the corners. We get that.
If you like, we could explain when you’re sober sometime? Or we could just broadly say “Like a crowd, but everyone has pink eyes.” Which is basic but works.
demonteaz:
soooo like a lot but just one??? what doooo you look like??? like normallly??
Yes, exactly. A lot but just one.
And... everything. All of our bodies are unique! Some are tall, some are short, some are animals... plants, insects, men, women, children of all races and species... we’re a little of everything!
We guess. We give hosts with eyes the ability to form our Star in them? So maybe we really just look like that!
valorousimperial:
I was a pairmind and it was the most amazing experience!!!
Gasp!
DMs. Tell us everything!
demonteaz:
hooooooooow do you look like everything??? are you like the queennn or a kinnng or something to a bunch of people and hear all their thoughtss?
Eh, that trope is way misrepresentative!
We’re more... we don’t know how to explain this. We do have individual thoughts, based on stimuli and problem solving... but we’re one being. Like a mosaic, we guess? All the individual pieces are there, and some are more prominent than others - but it’s still one thing!
We don’t have a “Hive Queen.” We operate every body as equal.
