Ive still been in a weird little grief space and in my head a bit much these days >.> so between that, work, and art class homework’s nearly every night, I just haven’t had it in me to draw snz… I do know that after my art class ends, I want to draw so much more snz stuff. I’m learning so many new art techniques to apply so yay for that..
I still just crave the type of loving and affection my Shadow used to give me. My new boys usually do end up cuddled next to me throughout the night. But I miss Shadow ramming his head into my face and doing his smurgling thing ;-;
My boys definitely get more and more affectionate as time passes, and I’m sure we’ll get to that level eventually but I miss my Dodo(Shadow). I just want him and that affection again, really.
An I really cut out for owning pets? This hurts so much. Can I stop crying once or more a day? And I feel guilty that I still want my old boy back over my current boys.. ik it’s only been three months but it’s felt like a lifetime. And of course ik it’ll take more time to develop that deeper bond with the kitties. Just…yknow…grief yay
Also, mamabirbsnz, if you’re out there somewhere still, I hope you’re doing well. I really enjoyed talking with you and sharing content updates. You’re really cool and I’m sorry I didn’t check my tumblr enough to catch you before you left. But I enjoyed the time I got to talk with you while you were active here
There’s slight mess here. I don’t even like mess, but the thrill of practicing something new overrides that sometimes…
Nolan is suffering through fall allergies at the moment. He’s very itchy in the nose, eyes, and ears. So he’s a mess. But Oliver is also a mess for other reasons related to Nolan. Nolan knows this.
On call is nearly done!!! I will be more active soon-ish!!!
Trying to improve upon my art skilllls
I’ve learned more coloring techniques! And eyes. I might be going through a slight eye phase too. I had a hand phase but never an eye phase 🤔
I uhhhh I do like how this came out I think?i feel like I could add more depth and blocked colors to the skin, but I’ll keep practicing to figure that out
I have nothing for snztember today and I can’t bring myself to draw/write atm, but I’ve been doing art class so uh - I really hope no one finds meee they probably won’t I’m just a bit paranoid- but I offer you some uhmm Impressionism/realism 🙂↕️
I don’t post much of my non snz art here, in fact I try to really not do so lol since kink blog and that’s my focus but
Day 15: appearances; to what lengths do the chara go to keep up appearances?
Nolan's Desk During Cold/Allergy Season
This was kinda fun to draw hahaha.
No matter how bad Nolan's allergies get or how much a cold makes him sneeze, he stills goes into work. His desk is armed with all kinds of supplies.
Hmmmm I really got nothin for day 16 oops lol, so I'm just uh...reblogging
no ideas sparked in my brain even wtih a prompt :'D maybe someting eventually?
but also might fall off a little bit with my on-call week starting
maybe i'll do a bit of writing?
there are a few prompts that happen after my on-call week that I'm already planning art for, so maybe I'll come back then! for now, i'm going to do little bits of writing here and there!!

I’m torturing Oliver with Feathers again
I drew again!? What even? I think tomorrow might be a writing one though. We’ll see I guess. I keep surprising myself, but I’m also not holding myself to anything specific yet. I need to rest my hand tho lolll. Also my on call at work starts soon so we’ll see if I can keep up(the motivation) during that time???
More pre-relationship NOliver!!
i switched out for shower snz tonight bcs i couldn't figure out how to write interestingly enough for a 5 minute sneeze fit, something just wasn't sparking that thought lol, and yea

Streamer Dies PVP-ing While Having a Sneeze Attack - Nolan
I love this concept lol. Annnd oop i wrote i ficlet to go with lol.
I guess, Nolan doesn’t stream a lot but he does often play video games with his friends whenever he isn’t with Oliver, drawing webtoons, or sleeping lol.

Nolan’s fingers hovered over the keyboard, eyes locked on the blocky world of Minecraft displayed across his monitor. His chat scrolled a mile a minute, filled with comments such as “Get him!!”, “You got this!”, “DaeHyunnie is going down!!!”, and far too passionate fans.
“Dae-Hyun, you’re so going down,” Nolan laughed along with friendly banter as the two of them fought sword to sword. Dae-Hyun was Nolan’s other accountant friend from work. They were both hired at around the same time. Nolan was fresh out of university and Dae-Hyun had been a transfer from a different company.
“Big talk from someone with 2 hearts left!” Dae-Hyun’s voice rang through their server with a taunting lilt. Minecraft was their go to for streaming. Nolan enjoyed building and redstone a lot more than he enjoyed PvP-ing someone, but every once in a while, his friend group would join a tournament.
Nolan’s grin was sharp. “All I need is two hearts.”
Nolan assumed Dae-Hyun’s chat was also going wild. The two of them were the last competitors left on the battlefield; they were neck and neck. Nolan was locked (the fuck) in, rapid sounds of key and mouse clicking could be heard from both ends of the streams.
“You’re cornered, Nol!” Dae-Hyun crowed, voice bubbling with laughter.
“Am not–” Nolan started, but his breath caught on a hitch, his body freezing for the split second it took for the tickle to bloom in his nose.
“Oh no, ohhH n-no! N-n-not n-hH-nohh-now!!” Nolan’s breath hitched and hitched, “ahHh–! hehH n-noo…snFFF!” He tried his best to keep his eyes opened and not concentrate on the tickle blooming in his nose. The tickle was growing too strong though, he really shouldn’t sneeze now though, why m-must hi-hiihHh–s nose d-dohH th-th-thiH–this t-to hiihHh–AhH–!
“ihH’TSCHht–!!” Fuck
“ih’TSCHiiih!! haH’TSHht–!!” Why can he never sneeze just once?
The chat absolutely erupted.
“OH NO!!! TSKR!!!”
“Tskr! Bless! Also lmao”
“HAHAHAHAHAHA”
“Blesses omg you dieddd lmfaoooo 🤧”
“LMFAO 🤧 death by sneezing hahaha”
“Bless you!!! So cute <3”
Nolan groaned in between his sneeze attack, “ehH’Tschh–uuu! hHH’KTSchuu–! hHh’hHh’Tschh!!”
More tskr’s ensued from the chat. Somewhere in that fit, Dae-Hyun had landed the last couple hits and his screened flashed with red with “You Died, nol was slain by daehyunnie”.
“N-nooo not m-moohH–re–n’TSchht!! ‘Tsh! ‘Tchiuu! ‘tchiu!!! Ughh, guys stop with the tasukaru’s pleeease oh my god, I’m so embarrassed. I can’t believe I just— ugh…” Nolan sighed, wiping his nose with a tissue he plucked from his desk stash. Dae-Hyun was still cracking up on the other end.
“Oh my gosh, you sneezed yourself to death. That’s incredible! Chat! Do you see what just happened?” Nolan rolled his eyes at his friend’s commentary. He had to admit though, that was probably hilarious to most of the viewers and opponents.
Chat:
“LMAOO!”
“Died to sneezing 😭😭😭😭😭😭”
“Clip it!! Clip it!!”
“Oliver come get your mans, he’s sneezing himself to death!!”
Yes, his viewers knew about his and Oliver’s relationship. Oliver has never shown his face on screen, but he has walked into frame neck down before when he’s come to drop something off to Nolan or whatever else.
Nolan tossed the tissue in the bin, sniffly but smiling wide, “I hate you,” he muttered into his mic.
“Love you too, buddy,” Dae-Hyun shot back, still wheezing with laughter.
======================
On the other side of things…
Oliver was watching Nolan’s stream as it was the championship round, the last and final one to determine the winner. Of course he was rooting for Nolan, who else would he be cheering on?
Oliver wasn’t a huge gamer himself, despite being into technology, but he did enjoy a good stream. Especially his boyfriend. No he wasn’t biased, what made you think that?
Witnessing Nolan sneeze on stream was always a treat to him. The little hitch in his breath, the helpless, rapid-fire fits that left him sniffling and pink-cheeked, the way he tried to power through with watery eyes and at issue half crumpled in one hand–he couldn’t ask for a better stream experience.
He kind of enjoyed watching the viewers go crazy as well for the adorable sneezes that never stopped after one.
Nolan’s chat was definitely familiar with his sneeze attacks. Being allergic to many things, especially during hayfever season, there was no avoiding these attacks entirely.
Oliver dragged a hand down his face, ears blazing red as line after line of “tskr tskr tskr” and “Oliver come save your man 🥺👉👈” spammed through the chat. It didn’t help that Nolan, still sniffling, had glanced at his camera with a sheepish smile and muttered, “Ughh, guys stop with the tasukaru’s pleeease oh my god, I’m so embarrassed. I can’t believe I just— ugh…”
His heart fluttered. He wished he had Nolan all to himself right now, but alas, he had to wait until Nolan was done streaming for the evening.
As if to taunt him, Nolan sneezed one last time. One, loud, final, Hh’AGSHhuu!!”
Oliver buried his hot face into his hands trying to keep himself in control. Do not pounce on him. You are a mature adult. You can wait. You can wait. Oh my god, but he’s so adorably sexy.
He would wait, he definitely would wait–but oh, when that stream ended, Nolan had better be ready.
Day 10: re: day 9 - "cute" pinkened nose (or concerningly red and painful for some caretaking)
Oliver is Miserable (still)
So today is a drawing! Because I thought it would be cute. Isn’t he cute? In all his sniffly, itchy, fever-hazed glory.
I swear it was gonna be a b/w sketch. Somehow it became a colored slightly refined sketch

Nolan: Awww, Oliver. I'm sorry you feel so terrible. But you also look really adorable right now. Don't worry though, I'll take good care of that cute little red nose of yours.

9. Super Sensitive Nose; tyring to apply a salve and making them sneeze

9. super sensitive nose; trying to apply a salve and making them sneeze - Oliver.
Oliver should’ve expected this.
He tends to catch whatever Nolan had. Yet somehow, Nolan never catches what Oliver falls ill with. Life is unfair sometimes. He’d spent three days tending to Nolan as he sneezed, sniffled, and coughed, to fever-dazed to protest Oliver’s fussing.
Still, when he woke up this morning with a sore throat and an itchy nose, Oliver attempted to pretend it was nothing. By the afternoon, however, his nose was streaming yet completely blocked up and he was sneezing harsh, wet sneezes. How could his nose be running like a faucet, yet felt like there was cement in it?
“ihHehH’GDzshuhh! ihHihH’GKShiuu!” Oliver folded helplessly into a tissue, groaning softly as he caught his breath.
Nolan’s head popped in from the hallway, a little more peppy than Oliver was. His fever had finally broken so all he was left with was a few sniffles here and there. Basically healthy again. “Mmm, my poor baby. Knew you couldn’t escape the sickness.”
Oliver blew his nose miserably, making any attempt at clearing his nose even for just a little bit. “I-I’mb f-fihH’GSHhiuuh! ahH’GSHiuuhh–h’GSHh-h’GShhhh!”
“Sure, sure, you are,” Nolan said gently. He padded over to the bed with a little jar of menthol salve that worked wonders for relieving congestion. They didn’t always use it on Oliver due to how touch sensitive his nose was, especially with a cold. He didn’t really need it often anyways. “Do you want to use some of this? It should help soothe your skin and maybe decongest you as well.”
Oliver eyed the jar suspiciously, already feeling the tickle building again, “Uhm– s-sure, I guess. I-I’hHhh–I’m s-so cohHhdgest–ehHheh-ed….snFF snfffF!”
Nolan unscrewed the lid and scooped out the tiniest dab on his fingertip. “Tilt your head back a bit for me, love,” he coaxed, firm but gentle in a way that Oliver loved about him.
Oliver obeyed, lips parting as his nostrils flared with anticipation. The menthol scent from the jar was starting to get to him and make his breath wobble.
“N-NohH–lan w-waihHhh’GZSHIUewww!!” Oliver pushed Nolan’s finger away before ducking away to sneeze towards the opposite side. “Guhh, sorry, ogay, you cad–snFFF!! snffF! Continue…”
“Bless you,” Nolan murmured before trying again. The cool salve barely grazed the underside of Oliver’s tortured nose before he was hitching again. “Try to hold it back? I know that’s incredibly difficult right now.”
Nolan was trying his absolute hardest to apply it gently yet quickly.
Oliver slumped forward into a handful of tissues, his sneezes ripping out of him one after another until he was left panting for breath, glassy eyes and a streaming nose.
“Ughh,” he groaned, fumbling to blow his nose between coughs.
Nolan was already pressing fresh tissues into his hand, then rubbing a slow, soothing circle on his back. “Bless you many times. All done–it’s on now!”
Oliver blew his nose multiple times, congestions rattling, then slumped back against the pillows, sniffling again. “N-nehHhver ah–agaihH–again…,” he mumbled, voice raw and thick. Tears decorated his lashes, his cheeks pink and fevered still.
Nolan smiled, brushing damp hair off of his forehead. “You say this now, but you must admit, you can breathe a little easier now, right?”
He sighed, then sniffled hard. “Yeah…you’re ri-rihH-right hHH–! ED’ZSHIEuu!! heH’GZShiuuu! hehH–AhH’TSZHhiuu! Just m-makes me sne-sneehHh–sneeE’GShhuu! hH’GSHhhuu! Ugh, sneezy.”
Nolan armed Oliver with new tissues somewhere within that fit of sneezes. “Awe, love, you are so sneezy,” Nolan agreed, rubbing Oliver’s arm with his hand in soothing strokes, “now, do you want to watch something or take a nap?”
Oliver made a noise halfway between a sniffle and a laugh, which sparked some more coughing from his upset lungs.
“Gods, okay, I’m okay now,” he cleared his throat, finally calm enough to respond, “I’m thinking ‘take a nap’?”
“Sounds like a good plan!” Nolan stood up to put the salve away, then turned to Oliver’s side, sliding into bed on the other side of him. He tugged the blankets higher, tucking them in snug before enveloping Oliver in a hug to pull him closer. Oliver nuzzled his head into Nolan’s chest, listening to the steady heartbeat.
“Thanks, Nol,” he whispered, voice hoarse and sleepy.
“Of course, Oliver. Anything for you,” Nolan smiled, pressing a soft kiss onto the top of Oliver’s head, “now get some rest.”
Oliver nodded, wispily replying with a soft “I love you” before dozing off.
8. Running Out of Tissues; has to go get more, or persuade someone to
Leaving Early for Just Tissues, trust, trust.
I thought this was cute lol. They both get really sneezy with cold. Nolan sure loves to tease. Lovingly ofc <3. Oliver doesn't mind. He gets to hear Nolan's wonderfully, sneezy nose.

8. Running out of tissues; has to go get more, or persuade someone to - Nolan
Oliver was halfway through a code change—just about ready to make a pull request for his new change—when his phone buzzed rhythmically on his desk. It was his special vibration pattern set for Nolan’s contact. <3
He slid his thumb across the screen to accept the call without thinking twice.
“Hi, what’s up, Nol?” Oliver greeted, his tone laced with worry. Nolan had stayed home sick upon waking up with a fever at 3am. “Everything good?”
What he got in reply was two desperate hitches of breath before: aH’Tschxx–! hn’Tchx! –ehH’GT’xch! hehHh’hHh’Tschh–h’tschh!
Followed by a groan that made Oliver’s face go red.
“Oliver?” Nolan’s voice was thick, tired, and muffled like he was talking half into his pillow. “S-sohHh—sorry w-wait g-godda sdn-sdneeze agaiHhHhehH…hhH-’TSchu–! ehH’Tschh–uuu! hHH’KTSchuu–! hHh’hHh’Tschh!! Brindg sombe hombe please?”
Oliver nearly dropped the pen he was fiddling around with. He sounded so sick, yet so adorable. Nolan knew of his fetish and oftentimes played up his symptoms to get a rise out of Oliver. Even fever-hazed, Nolan still enjoyed teasing Oliver. He really did know how to push all his buttons.
“Y-yeah, of course, love. I’ll–I’ll stop and grab some more boxes on my way home. Mhm.” His voice cracked, and he slapped a hand over his mouth, praying to whatever deities out there, that no one in the office noticed.
On the other end, Nolan sniffled pitifully. “T-thagk youhhH’Eh’Gzshieww! Ughh– thagk you, Oli. I’m m-mahhhking su-suhHh–such a mbess over hehH–here ehH–hHiH’DZshiuuH! hihH’GZShuhh–hGSHuu–n’gshuu-n’gshh-ng’sshhh! Even if I stiHhh-HT–...stiffle, mess stiHHh’AGSHhuu!! Still comes o-out.”
Oliver pressed the heel of his hand hard against his thigh under the desk, a futile attempt to ground himself. He was heavily considering taking the rest of the day off to go pick up those tissues and tend to his sick boyfriend at home. “D-don’t apologize, Nol,” he managed, his voice wavering. “Just… hang in there ‘till I get home, yeah?”
Another few helpless sneezes tore through the speaker, wet, itchy, so desperate to escape Nolan’s cold ridden sinuses, “hhH’TSChuuhhh!! ihH’TSCHht! ih’TSCHi’tschii!”
Oliver bit the inside of his cheek, hard. His coworker across the aisle shot him a puzzled look as his ears turned scarlet. He stood up from his chair, packing his bag frantically.
“Are you okay?” Said coworker asked with concern.
“Umm, I think I’m feeling a bit off, so I’m going to work the rest of the day from home,” Oliver said with a hoarse voice. Believable enough, right?
“Alright, see you tomorrow maybe? Hope you feel better!” Oliver mumbled out a thanks, already speed-walking into the hallway, phone pressed tight to his ear.
“Bl-bless you, baby,” he whispered, ducking into the stairwell, “I’m leaving right now–”
“Y-you’re ndhohHt getting sigck too, are you?” Nolan asked with worry.
“N-no, I just made an excuse to go early. I want to take care of you and uh…uhmm” Olive’s voice squeaked embarrassingly as he hit the subway platform, “I might be… a little excited.”
There was a shaky laugh, “mby plad h-has wo-workehHh–! Worked I s-seeHhH’GDZSHiewww! ehH’GSHieww! ehehH’SHHUU! Gods this is getting a little gross…snNFF kofF! Koff! Ughh…thagks agaid, see you sood, Oli. I’mb godda sl-sleep a bihH–t’SHUU! –gt’shuu! hH’GShuu! Now…”
Oliver’s knees nearly buckled on the moving subway. “Alright, get some rest my love.” The line went quiet, broken only by the sound of Nolan’s breathing that indicated he was already falling into a slumber. Oliver clicked the end call button.
He grinned widely at his phone, cheeks still almost as red as Nolan’s were. Alright, game plan. Buy as many tissue boxes as I can find, then hurry home to my honey!
Day 7: handkerchiefs (perhaps A carries one / B does not, and B needs one)
Ink and Stardust
So, with NOliver, at this point in their story, they are definitely together. But it’s still a bit in the beginning-ish? Oliver is really the only one with the fetish right now. He’s had it for as long as he can remember. Nolan is just really fascinated with it and always down to try stuff for Oliver. Oliver of course, has had some inner turmoil revolving around having this fetish.

7. handkerchiefs (perhaps A carries one / B does not, and B needs one) -A: Nolan, B: Oliver
The new release corner of Myobo Bookstore was lively and buzzing with energy. Fans crowded around the standee of the main characters to pose for pictures, the display shelves gleamed under the bright overhead lights. And right in the middle of it all was the table that Oliver had been waiting weeks for: the limited-edition collector’s set of Ink and Stardust.
He’s been obsessed with this series since its first volume was released. The set was massive. It was like an open box gift basket looking thing. Inside were all 13 volumes, glossy postcards, 3 acrylic standees, a poster, and–Oliver’s favorite part–the five replica magical quills front he series, feathers fanned out proudly from the top like a bouquet.
“Oohhh, Nol! Nol! Look at it!” Oliver breathed, practically vibrating with joy as he picked up the gigantic box set in his arms. “They even got the enchantment markings on the quills right–look at the details of the engravings, it's so perfect!”
Nolan sipped his earl grey tea, smiling fondly. “It is very pretty,” he nodded in agreement, “definitely worth getting up at the crack of dawn to be one of the first few in line.”
Oliver shot him a grin, but his nose twitched. He sniffled once, trying to ignore it. Why was his nose so itchy all of a sudden? The dreaded feel of needing to sneeze hit him like a train. The feathers of the quills must’ve been real geese or something of the sort. Worse, the whole display was faintly dusty, like it had been stored too long before release day.
He scrunched his nose and adjusted his grip on the box. Don’t sneeze. Not here. I do not. Need. To. Sneeze. N-nohhHh–pe n-no s-sn-sneezihhHhahH–!
“hehH’Ddtsh! –tshii! ihH–hehH–tsch–tschh-tsch-tsch! Tsch’uuhh!” The first sneezes snapped out before he could properly cover them, especially still holding the box. He tried his best to duck his nose into his shoulder.
Nolan’s eyes widened, “Oliver?”
“I-I’m finehhehH–dtch! –ngxtch! –gkktch! hehHD-tsh–tschh–tschh! S-so iihH–tchy–HN’kshh! –h-Kshh! h’Kshh–hhahH…hhh…N-Nol, please t-take–” The feathers bobbed in front of his face mockingly, not allowing for any relief of his nose.
Oliver desperately shoved the box towards Nolan who quickly got the message, quickly taking it from his grip. “Love, you’re not fine.”
“D-do youhHahh– have a h-haHh–handker–ch-chief? iHH’gktch! hehH’ktschh! ihH’KtsCH! huHd’Tishh–tishh–tishh-tishh!” His voice frayed, breath hitching on every other word that he could barely get out. His sneezes were beginning to become a bit messy.
To be fair, Oliver isn’t usually a sneezy person. Only when he’s sick or with feathers. He’s usually decently sneeze free. Like a “sneeze-once-a-week” type of guy.
Nolan was already pressing a fresh handkerchief into his palm, his other hand still holding the precious box set. “Of course, love.”
Oliver muffled the next volley into the soft cloth, ears burning red with embarrassment, “th-thanHh–thank youhH–Gshh! hH’ngshh! nN’gshH! Mnn’shhh! ihHhehh’ngshh!”
“Bless you, love,” Nolan murmured, gently rubbing his back. “Just get it all out.”
Oliver sagged, sniffling into the handkerchief, trying to catch his breath. His eyes watered with allergic tears as he peeked over at Nolan, sheepish, “Sorry. They’re just– it’s the feathers–uhhh…I’m a bit sensitive towards them.”
Nolan’s lips twitched, fighting a smile, “sensitive, yeah?” His tone was gentle, yet amused. He didn’t press the point, only smoothing his hand along Oliver’s back. “Call it whatever you want, love.”
Oliver groaned, blowing his nose again. The blush on his cheeks burned hotter–if that were possible. Admitting it was an allergy felt too vulnerable to Oliver, too close to the part of himself he still struggled to deal with. Nolan didn’t press though, he never did. He just held him steady, quiet and patient, that made Oliver’s heart flutter.
“Do you always carry these with you?”
“Always,” Nolan said with a tiny smile, “two just in case.” He kissed Oliver’s cheek. “Good thing, too. You’d be lost without me.”
“You know, I would be.” Oliver grinned back, wiping at his nose again with the handkerchief. Now that the feathers weren’t directly under his nose, holding back the impending sneezes was much easier to manage.
“Also, I will carry these to the register, and home as well,” Nolan teased, “you just catch your breath, okay?”
“Deal,” Oliver sighed, relenting, watching as Nolan walked off to pay.
“Stay put. I’ll be right back,” Nolan called over his shoulder.
Oliver plopped himself down on a bench, handkerchief pressed to his twitching nose as he watched Nolan pay for the goods. Despite his embarrassment, he was still enthralled to have an amazing partner who will go with him to buy amazing merchandise.
When Nolan returned, he held a massive bag in hand that cradled the box safely inside of it. “Come on, Oli. Let’s get home and properly tend to your nose, okay?”
Oliver playfully glared at Nolan, but it quickly turned into a smile as he nodded. “Haha, alright, let’s go. I can’t wait to take a closer look at all of the art and inclusions!”
– – – – – – – – –
P.S. After getting home, Oliver and Nolan agreed the quills were far too beautiful to stay boxed away–but also should not be displayed around face level. They displayed them proudly on the very top of the book shelf in the living room, mostly out of range of Oliver.
Still, every now and then, when Oliver wandered a little too close while dusting or reaching for another book, he’d be overtaken by a helpless little fit of sneezes. Nolan would just shake his head and smile to himself. (Definitely not allergic).
Hello! I’ve been working on this for about a month now! I’m decently happy with how it turned out? For my own records here, this was a good 80+ hours hehe
I commissioned @zensations35 for the audio and am absolutely in love with their work ^^~ thank you so much Zen for all of your hard work and letting me use it for this silly little animatic of mine 😌
I learned new skills such as DaVinci Resolve :D my first longgg animatic-I’ve done like 12second clock app videos but 2min!? I have so many things I could critique on what I would’ve done better or changed but I’m going to just be proud of how this came out and take notes for next time 🙂↕️
Day 6: Sneezing while hiding - or rather, trying not too
Flowers in December - Nolan
Oops, according to EST, I'm like 40 minutes late, but today was busy lol. The 7th might also be a bit late....
So this is sort of, Nolan trying not to snz, and then going to hide so he can sneeze.

6. Sneezing while hiding - or rather, trying not too – Nolan
The banquet hall glittered with crystal chandeliers, laughter, and the low hum of business talk. Servers glided between groups of people, balancing trays of champagne accompanied with hors d-oeuvres. Nolan wasn’t all too sure how he ended up there. He didn’t think in a million years he’d be ranked high enough to be invited to a networking event such as this one.
It was supposed to be an elegant evening–except Nolan was barely hanging on.
The floral arrangements scattered about the hall looked charming enough: roses, lilies, and lavender. To Nolan’s immune system, they were devil’s spawn that absolutely should not enter his body. His nose twitched and tingled the whole time, his throat itched, and his eyes watered.
He didn’t think to take any allergy meds or for some reason, bring any with him. It was January. Usually he was only a little sneezy in January.
Oliver saw it immediately. He always noticed. Even from across the room, he caught the subtle pinches and grabs that Nolan made for his nose. Or the faint tremor of his shoulders as he tried to sigh away a sneeze. The way his hand drifted toward his jacket pocket–where Oliver knew he kept at least two handkerchiefs tucked, always “just in case”.
Nolan tried, valiantly, to keep up conversation with Director Eunwoo and his colleagues, voice steady if just a little nasal. But eventually, the need to sneeze became too incessant to ignore.
“ExcuhH–excuse me, I’ll b-be righH–t hH– right back. I just –need –hHhh– need the restroom.” Nolan made his escape through the double doors.
Oliver wanted nothing more than to follow his love instantaneously, but they agreed to both try their best at hiding their newly established relationship.
Laugh, nod, pretend everything is fine. He finished his glass of champagne, trying to wait even just five minutes before excusing himself.
He made it about 45 seconds before excusing himself as well.
The bathroom was empty save for the muffled, desperate sound of someone trying very hard not to be heard.
Nolan had barely made it into the furthest stall from the door before the dam broke. He locked the door and slumped against the cool partition, handkerchief pressed hard over his nose and mouth.
Each one tore out of him, leaving his chest heaving and his nose still trembling in anticipation of the next set of itchy sneezes. He blew his nose as quietly as he could manage, though the sound echoed through the empty tiled room. He shook again as the itch clawed its way to the t-tiHhp o-of hihHh–hihh–his n-noHh–se!!
Gods, what a mess he was making of himself. He leaned his head back against the stall wall, furiously scrubbing at his irritated nose. The itch would not let up. He blew his nose again, hoping it would help with the itch.
Good news, it did help it a bit, remove the pollen that is. Bad news, the vibrations tickled his nose like mad, making the need to sneeze return full force.
“hH–hh…hH’tCHshh! eHT’Shh–! hehH–aH’ADSCHhh–iew!!” They were getting harsher now and his nose still tickled more than he’d like for it too. At least being away from the flowers, the itch was beginning to die down.
Nolan hears the doors open and internally, he screams for whoever it is to go away. He tenses, trying to muffle yet another sneeze quietly into his handkerchief.
“Nol?” Oh, that voice was familiar.
Nolan’s heart sinks, yet warms at the same time upon hearing Oliver’s voice. He pressed the handkerchief tighter against his nose, trying really hard to quell the pending sneezes. He doesn’t answer right away–he’s too flustered, too breathless.
A sharp itch broke his walls though. He pressed the handkerchief tightly over his nose. “HHM’PFShh! hhahH’hha–MPFSHhuu! ahH–hhehH’MPFSHHuu! Hh’mpgktchh!! H’gktchh!...hhHh–!...hhh…ahhH…hhH…hhh–....”
He groaned into the soiled handkerchief, miserably congested, “O-Oliver, you shouldn’t snFff snFF! hHh–snff– you shouldn’t be here. I-I’m okay.”
There was a pause. Was he grossed out? Was he going to leave him because he found him too annoying? Then the soft taps of Oliver’s footsteps across the tiles grew closer to his stall. “You don’t sound fine, please let me in. I want to help you.”
Nolan clenched his eyes shut, his heart still beating in his eardrums. “N-no, I’m really okay. My allergies will calm down soon.”
Oliver gently knocked on the stall door, his voice warm and coaxing, “I don’t mind, love. I want to take care of you and help you. Please… don’t hide from me."
Nolan’s chest tightened, not just from the sneezing. He wanted to keep the lock in place, he knew it was silly though. Oliver had seen him sneeze plenty of times in the office before. It just felt different, now that they were actually dating. His hand betrayed him though, trembling as it turned to unlatch the lock with a faint click.
The door opened, and Oliver slipped inside the cramped space. For a moment, Nolan couldn’t bring himself to look Oliver in the face. He hunched against the wall, handkerchief still pressed tightly to his nose, cheeks blotched red with allergic tears running down them.
“I’m sorry, I’m such a mess,” Nolan croaked, congested and embarrassed.
Oliver didn’t flinch however. He didn’t hesitate to reach for Nolan, tender fingers brush his tussled brands out of his face. “There’s absolutely no need to apologize. I truly do not mind. You’re beautiful no matter what,” he murmured, “and for the record, you’re my mess. And that’s all that matters.”
Nolan gave a small laugh that broke off into another sneeze fit, muffled into the cloth in his hand, “Hh’mpgktchh! hHah’MPgtkchh! mM’Gkchh! hH’Gkchh! ahhH–heh– hh–...hehH–... hH’MPFSHHIEWW! Ughhh, make it stoooop.”
He blew his nose again, a wet, productive sounding blow. His nose did actually feel better after that. When he surfaced, Oliver kissed the top of his head tenderly.
“There,” Oliver whispered, “my poor baby.”
The words made Nolan’s heart flutter. Gaining more confidence, he slumped forward into Oliver’s chest, slowly bringing his arms up to hug Oliver. Oliver embraced him right back in a tight hug. His embrace was steady, grounding him in a way that made his heart ache for more.
Nolan felt his nose drip and instantly tried to pull back from the hug.
“I’ll ruin your suit, I’m so, so, so sorry,” Nolan said frantically trying to get away.
“I don’t care about my suit,” Oliver replied without missing a beat. He held Nolan close to him in a vice grip, not letting him wiggle free. “I only care about your well-being.”
Nolan froze, then melted against him again, no longer resisting the embrace. The fabric might have been damp, his nose still a little tickly, and his eyes streaming, but neither of them made a move to pull away.
They stayed that way for quite a while, before formulating a plan to escape the evening early.
