Adrien's handwriting is very cursive and elegant. No matter what he's writing on, it will look like a Victorian noble has written it.

So imagine him passing a note to Nino and whilst it's the most beautiful handwriting one could ever see, it says

Sometimes, when Ladybug does something to upset him or make him annoyed or even very frustrated, he will leave notes for her too.

As a little game, ladynoir writes things on each other's back using only their pointer finger and the pressure of their touch.

Sometimes they write silly jokes or nicknames.

Sometimes they write secrets they could never tell anyone, not even to each other.

And often, Ladybug notes that Chat Noir tends to write the same things over and over again on her back because she's memorised his touch, his pressure and proximity.

He always ends their game by writing "I love you" and his Lady hasn't clocked it yet.

Ladybug's hair can often get in the way of her sight and she gets all cute and huffy and pouty trying to brush it aside. There was even that one time a lucky charm plan failed because the ends of her fringe (or bangs to you americanos) stabbed her eyes when the wind blew in her face.

So since then, Chat Noir would brush her hair aside for her. He would tuck the stray strands behind her ear, smooth his fingers through her fringe so it isn't plastered against her forehead, ensure the ribbons aren't loose and so on. He does it as naturally as breathing and Ladybug has grown accustomed to his random touches.

Be it during an interview, when she's talking about their battle plans, when they're patrolling and etc etc. She loves the way Chat Noir does it so effortlessly so she doesn't bother brushing her hair away ever again.

Because Ladybug refuses to trim her hair shorter, Chat Noir bought her a really pretty hairclip. It's black and has paw prints and a really cute black cat face at the end of it. Ladybug loves it so much and she's seen wearing it every day when she's masked.

She makes a cute ladybird-themed hair tie for Chat Noir because her Chaton deserves adorable things too. He wears it on the top of his head and it looks like he has a little blond tree between his cat ears.

Thinking about my flower-crown-making hobby headcanon for Adrien again and now I'm thinking of Chat Noir entwining small pretty flowers in Ladybug's hair like they're stars.

Which is one major reason why Ladybug loves spring because she loves how her Chaton just needs to gently and tenderly tie freshly bloomed blossoms into her hair all whilst petals fall wildly over his tousled blond locks.

i think marinette is such a comfort character to me because her life is so full of love. and it's in the most simple ways. it's the way she screams 'ALYA HELP MEEEE' at any minor inconvenience, or the way she casually puts a hand on chat noir's shoulder when she tells him he's done a good job, or the way she takes the time out of her day to make gifts for people she cares about, or the way she is so unabashed about devoting herself to creating, to making something beautiful. and i love it because these are things you see her do and think, 'wait, i can just... hug my friends just because i want to? i can spend an afternoon working on something for someone i care about just because i can?' and it suddenly just feels so easy to have a life full of love like that. idk i love marinette
