Majestic Vika.
Its citizens became famously fascinated with sound and how it bounced off rock; how it echoed deep in the caverns they called ‘home’. They carved and hung special instruments in the caverns of their city that hummed with air currents and harnessed the sounds for record keeping, entertainment, and even magic.
Windchimes, instruments, theater, art. Craft only for the sake of craft. Sound carries and echoes throughout the city.

Aderyn’s Cradle features a fast-paced system for melee combat called RealFight Combat™
The system uses deterministic motions, which execute different attack types depending on where the player aims and what type of opponent is being faced. The amount of damage dealt is dependent on where you strike and when you attack. Making for a system that is easy to pick up, but challenging to master.

A Rococo Enemy
Anomalies are physically altered versions of plants, animals, and people. They spawn when individuals are exposed to mana. Mostly, they are isolated cases. Their exposure to mana in the environment, whether sustained or instantaneous, alters their developmental patterns, causing them to develop into altered forms which can better coexist with and exploit the mutating Force.

Never underestimate the power of dry-erase markers!
In designing the world of Anora and play map for what will become Aderyn’s Cradle, here at Mojo we’ve found its’ better to just draw our ideas out in full rather than only relying on digital paint.
Little by little, over the course of a week, our designers gradually built up this map taking up a wall’s worth of space where we work. Simply having this big thing and working on it with others, making changes, and asking questions helped solidify the RPG world we’re looking to make.
Those black spots? Cities and settlements.
That mushroom shape on the right? Well for our Bayou environment, it’s going to be an actual giant mushroom.

The Paladin is an indomitable force on the battlefield. With strength unparalleled, they move slowly, conviction in every ground-shaking step. As the Paladin, you will down foes with heavy strikes using large one- and two-handed weapons.
Being a defender of the weak, it is only fitting that you wield large shields in addition to heavy weapons, and focus on repelling enemy attacks before launching your own devastating blows. With such large weapons and shields, overwhelming to the average obstacle, the Paladin’s strikes send enemies flying, or leave them stunned and vulnerable.

At home in the shadows, the Ranger is inspired by ninjas and marksmen. Wielding a combination of bows, glaives, small daggers and other unique projectiles, the Ranger takes down enemies from afar before even being spotted.
Once assaulted, the Ranger quickly switches to use dual daggers, and goes about dispatching enemies in close range with ease, darting across the battlefield.
As the Ranger, you will possess quick reflexes and unparalleled speed, enabling you to run circles around enemies, spreading death wherever you step. The tradeoff is that you won't take damage very well.

The Rococo Beast.
No one here at Mojo can pinpoint when exactly, but this big guy has started to become our mascot working on Aderyn’s Cradle. Our lead environment artist doodled bottom picture this past Friday and now there’s no back.
A version of this was posted earlier today, but we at Mojo wanted make a more direct request for anyone that’s even remotely interested to take a look at our Indiegogo Campaign. -Where there’s much more information on the new RPG we’re hoping to make.

The Icelands are one of the four open worlds of Aderyn’s Cradle. They’re home to glacial caverns, snow-capped peaks, active volcanoes and hot springs. Even before the Crisis, this unforgiving environment proved challenging for all but the most rugged lifeforms. The Aderians who lived here studied the advantages of geothermal technology and metallurgy, making themselves expert engineers.
Now, the land is razed by Nitima’s Fire Force. Areas of extreme heat and chill tear the countryside apart with abyssal rifts. Gargantuan fields of lava and active volcanoes now dominate the scenic expanses of mountain tundra, where the highest peaks in the Cradle contrast with abyssal chasms cut deep in the permafrost. The player must beat back Nitima’s corruption in this hazardous environment of ice and fire!

I don’t even like mushrooms...
The Bayou is one of the four open worlds of Aderyn’s Cradle. Before the Soulfire Crisis, the Bayou was a dense fungal forest and a thriving ecosystem, populated by enormous mushrooms, strange plants and large, exotic insects. It was home to bustling centers of trade, and the wilderness overflowed with precious materials ripe for collection. But the land was smote by Ostia’s Life force during the crisis.
The Bayou now in ruins has been twisted by overgrowth, with every creature, fungus, and fungal plant competing for survival. Human ruins have been totally reclaimed by natural forces, and fungus covers every available surface. Once-docile creatures have been transformed into formidable monstrosities.

One of our early goals was to add a sense of verticality to what we were making.
The Quarry is one of the four open worlds of Aderyn’s Cradle. The lush and expansive forest of the Quarry once contained a variety of plants, wildlife, and some of the most prosperous industrial regions known to Anora. Following the Soulfire Crisis, the deity Acie (a-KEE-ay) transmuted and flooded the land, corrupting it with their force of Fluid. Tropical forests shrouded in mist, waterfalls, hidden caves, flooded settlements and mines can all be explored in this environment.

The word of Anora is a big place. Divided into 5 "cradles” and molded by 5 gods, Anora simply has too much in it for one game. This map you’re looking at? It’s the god Aderyn’s Cradle. Extend this map and you see this chunk of continent is flanked by four other cradles.
Here you can see the Quarry to the south.
The fungus ridden Bayou to the east.
The warm Desert to the west.
And the frigid Icelands to the north.
These are the four environments players will explore through.

Aderyn took pleasure in watching the humans build, and was proud of their creations and artwork. He discovered that the individual will of the humans was stronger than that imparted to them by external pressure and decided to nurture it, not challenge it. With his Force of Light, he lit the soulfires, divinely-imbued lanterns in his temples which gave men will, intuition, and inspiration to create.
