Trafalgar Law is actually kind of an idiot cause he was there when Luffy just punched a Tenryuubito despite everyone telling him to stay put and he was (sort of) there when this agitated monkey full of stimulants (literally) crashed through the most dangerous prison in the world and the war between Whitebeard and the Marine and thought “yeah, I can have an alliance with this guy, he’s gonna be totally normal and chill about it”

i absolutely love franky as a character. like he’s so heartwarming to me. in water 7, he was introduced as being a needlessly cruel and selfish person. it’s so jarring to look back on this because god that initial impression couldn’t be more wrong. he’s so genuinely compassionate, supportive, and optimistic. every emotion he feels, he feels it 1000%. he’s extremely silly. he’s extremely goofy. he loves his friends with his whole heart and will do anything to support them. i just think he’s great
