One from last nights session at Zoo Cafe.
Two of our Mola Mola artists, Gradient Echo and Azyss were included in the first Love Our Records remix series, along with Sammyjams and Sleeping Loops.
4 very different interpretations of Human Machine's SLOP HOP means there's something for everybody to find. Check it out below on Bandcamp: https://love-our-records.bandcamp.com/album/open-remix-experiment-001-human-machines-slop-hop
The Sun Hits - Tear it Out/The Fire
It’s with a single raised eyebrow that we welcome the return of The Sun Hits, back with the first in a line of singles showing off a more experimental punk sound.
You can listen hear it from their Bandcamp page, or download it directly from us.
Something new from Weird Ribs.
"A taste of some new material I’ve been working on. It’s getting lot more intense than the zoned out Frontiers. Enjoy."
The first few photos from our times at Shambala festival.
Today we leave for Shambala festival. A lovely festival where we'll be hosting our own little space - the Mola Mola Soundspace. It'll see our best musicians and DJs plus friends and often visitors to the space creating an experimental area for sound. It's our studio out of the studio and much more.
This weekend we'll be celebrating the likes of Steve Reich, The Flaming Lips, John Cage, Chris Watson and Francisco Lopez as well as composing new live music via improvised jams.
The Less Deceived's new EP, "Ghosts", will soon be available for you all to hear but before it comes out here's a real nice fuzzed out track to get you excited.
The Less Deceived recording their new EP.
The Less Deceived recording sessions.
After spending 5 hot and uncomfortable days working in their pop-up studio, The Less Deceived are crossing the t's and dotting the lower case j's for their newest (as of yet untitled) release which should be seeing the light of day sooner rather than later.
Expect to hear a lot of shouting about it from us here at MoMo when it's finally ready to go, and as usual it will be released through their Bandcamp page (where you can find their first EP!!).
New material from The Less Deceived
We can happily reveal to you today that the "acoustic folk-gaze" (I didn't make that up) duo The Less Deceived are about to hit the studio again to record another batch of songs for everybody to enjoy.
We'll keep you updated as to how that turns out.
We are super proud to announce a new band and release to the label. The fantastic Teotl Expansion.
They specialise in glitched up piano progressions. A must listen for fans of Tim Hecker, Alva Noto + Ryuichi Sakamoto, Fennesz and the like.
Head straight over to their Bandcamp page here to stream and/or download the new EP.
Weird Ribs - Provide Air
Slow evolving visuals for Provide Air, the fourth track from Weird Ribs recent release Frontiers. You can grab the whole album for free (or buy on CDr) over from his Bandcamp.
Download The Sun Hits - Change for free.
We Hunt Indoors played Adelphi on Monday, was a great night, thank you anyone who showed up and we hope you enjoyed the noise.
