INTRODUCTION

Welcome. Moldyfridge here, but you can also call me Miles.

I've been a Clone High fan for some time, I've grown to deeply love these characters. I'm usually trying to draw them realistically, or at least semi-realistically. However, Topher Bus is practically my muse. You'll be seeing way too much of him, it's a bit repetitive. Apologies.

Sometimes I post them as cartoons too, and every so often my self insert. Not to worry, his clone father is completely made up.

GET TO KNOW ME

Not much to put here. Amongst Clone High and realism I also adore real history, some of biology. Books. Ships.

I'm 19 years old. Minors are still of course welcome to my page. It's not like I'm posting any outright nasty images on here, (nor do I want to) but be aware is all.

I want this to be a hate-free page, but that does not mean I am supportive of proshippers. I will ignore you if you if you're one of those.

Sending requests isn't exactly something I'm against, but I rarely answer those. I think I have 8 or so that have been rotting in my inbox for 2 years, lol.

Unfortunately all I have is me being a fruit. Lately I've been questioning if I'm even an artist because of how little I draw, but it picked back up eventually.

Tomorrow I'll throw out the rest of my cartoon scraps, all that aren't self insert based.

I thought Abe was much scrawnier in the show. If that’s just your personal headcanon, no judgement. Its just somthing i noticed.

Just a personal headcanon, yes. I mean, I still believe him to be skinny, just not as much. I hope he doesn't look too different. Thank you for noticing.

"One Year Apart"

No, not one year apart in drawings, but in their universe!

Lately I've been fighting for my life just to pop out a single drawing every few weeks. However, overtime I was able to gather a small bundle to show y'all. Thanks for y'all's patience. I know I haven't uploaded in over two months.

Quick post since I haven't been super motivated to draw as of recently. I've only been doing cartoon sketches of Pythagoras on my tablet instead.

Pythagoras...

Ah yes, a good mix of realism and cartoons. (Not really) Apologies for the nipple, it makes it funny!!

I made a few reference sheets of him a while back, never got around to posting them. He's my OC at this point, I've been a fan of this guy for over a year. Miss him. Miss him and his stupid luscious beard, him and his toga and golden headband.

Edit: I tweaked his design when facing 3/4ths just a tad. Reference is updated.

I wasn't able to draw on International Women's day, but it's still women's appreciation month. Happy women's appreciation month!

I've also been having art block for weeks, please ignore if they don't look much like themselves.

What helped you develop your art style? It has so much variety

People like J.C. Leyendecker, and Haddon Hubbard Sundblom are what helped shape me over the recent years for things like shading, tone, and setting, but I also love to use Greek and Roman statues as well, more for poses.

However, overall most of it was simply analyzation of how the human body works, the study of anatomy, so on. Studying the skeleton, and how muscles turned underneath the skin was the key element for me. Sometimes, if I'm having trouble understanding where skin will fold or wrinkle, I use myself as an example, or real photos. Don't be afraid to make things look ugly, that's how you make them look awesome.
