Royal Fam headcanons

TDP does such a great job of showing how kids are shaped by their parents, through their genetics and examples and their teachings, so I have some thoughts about Callum specifically today (but I know myself and it's gonna end up touching on Ezran too).

Callum grew up bilingual, spoken language and sign language, because before Sarai married Harrow she and Amaya had a lot more time together to teach him. He doesn't remember not knowing how to speak sign language. Ezran still needs help with it.

He doesn't really remember his father personally, and has no mental image of Damien's face. He feels like he knows him a little bit, from how much Sarai and Amaya talked about him, though, and he loves the memory.

Callum still smiles like Damien, though he doesn't know it. His eyes crinkle like Sarai's. He tilts his head when he does it like Harrow.

Damien, Harrow, and Callum all have green eyes, and both of Callum's fathers saw themselves in that reflection. Harrow always felt like it was a vague connection to Damien too, who he always respected though he never met him.

Sarai always said Harrow and Damien would have liked each other. Harrow always agreed with her, from what he knew about Damien.

Callum gestures a lot when he talks, but he picked that habit up from Harrow. Ezran keeps his hands more still, like Sarai.

"she holds the record for the most days spent in space by a woman!" this "she was part of the only all female space walk!" that, she's on the list of people who have spent the most time in space, period. she's spent more time in space than any of her crewmates - one of whom hasn't been into space at all. her time in space is only three days less than what all of her crewmates have combined. she has had as many spacewalks as all of her crewmates combined. she's not there because she's the best female nasa astronaut they could find and they wanted the diversity quota or whatever, she's there because she's part of the most qualified and experienced nasa personnel they could send up there
