This is pretty much where I'm at right now, and strangely...I'm quite okay with it (except it'd be a multitude of dogs instead of a cat)

I wish my brain would take a break.

Everything is going so well right now. For the first time in quite a while, everything is going how I want it to, and I am so happy, except when my brain decides to remind me of the worst ways in which I could fuck it all up. As soon as I start to feel happy, I see all the tragedy and devastation that would result from my fuck up, and it weighs on me like it's an inevitability. I feel nauseous and panicked because I feel like I'm going to ruin EVERYTHING. I don't know how, but I know it will happen. I don't have many compulsions, but these intrusive thoughts are just about breaking me right now.

I love this! Never before have I seen anything that points out the silver lining of a mental disorder. I have OCD and it sucks, but I definitely feel that the facts stated here apply to me, and I don't think I'd be as successful in school or work without those qualities.
