The Amnesty International report that JK Rowling is trying to censor through legal threats.
It can also be found on Google Drive here and on Bluesky here.
Please save and share this info where possible. This report has since been removed by Amnesty International due to legal threats of libel from JK Rowling. This information is no longer easily accessible.
Would it be considered “gay” to go for a walk in the evening?
So I do 3D modeling and printing as a hobby, and a few weeks ago I designed wheel guards meant to prevent office chairs from running over cables and clothes... or your pet's tail.
I got the idea from cowcatchers old locomotives used to have.
Anyways, yesterday I uploaded the model to Thingiverse, and just hours after uploading it, the Community Relationship Manager of the whole website left a comment suggesting I enter the model into a competition that's currently being held on the site.
So I did... and now it's in third place not even a day later. First place is $500, but the competition still has a month to go.
Then the Community Manager contacted me again, telling me they want to feature my model in an upcoming design promotion.
Just, what is happening? I mostly made this thing for myself in, like, an hour, and now it's suddenly super popular? This is all a little bit overwhelming 😵💫
Other models I worked on for weeks didn't get nearly as popular. I swear, it's impossible to predict what people will like.
Anyways, if you want to print the wheel guards yourself, you can get the model here or here.
I also made a quiet version you can stick furniture felt pads on.
People love simple, extremely practical things. I hope you win!
what they DONT tell you about clarinets is that you have to fucking build the damn thing every single time. "what instrument do you play" fucking legos man idk
about build clarinets damn do DONT every fucking fucking have idk instrument is legos man play" single tell that the they thing time. to what "what you you you
I really need to start reading the blog name because I thought I was having some sort of moment right there.
"Tattoos are becoming unpopular", "piercings are unpopular again", "keep your hair natural never dye it again, it's the trend now" literally fuck off I know what y'all are doing
omg jimothy... i would die for you..
Jimothy for Disability mascot/icon
Happy disability pride everyone!
The tiny beast has been spotted twice in Ballard this summer and appears to be doing well, despite a likely congenital deformity, an animal
A racoon with a spinal deformity is capturing the hearts of Seattlites and now the rest of the internet. People have been sharing their own sightings and stories going back months or years, connecting people who thought they were the only ones who had seen this guy.
Wildlife experts believe that he's thriving, and some have pointed to older footage of him with parents that show adult racoon waiting for him, helping him, and carrying him when he couldn't continue.
In neighborly fashion, the people of Seattle are also perhaps responsible for his success, clearing obstacles in their yards, opening passes for him, leaving food for the family, and keeping respectful distances from the animals.
"Jimothy" is perhaps not a story of "remarkable resilience" but about the life that can be had when community care takes center stage. Jimothy makes me think of the stories of prehistoric humans being cared for through sickness, disability, and hardship. Compassion, concern, and comradery is what allows all of us to make it through.
Keep on truckin, Jimothy
The peepaws are ready for the road😎🔥
(My emotional support piece of plastic <3)
ough
i put him in the saw bathroom
Faux leather was the worst thing ever created
Lets take a material that can last decades with the right treatment and care and fucking replicate it with the most dogshit ugly flimsiest animal extinction microplastics smells bad unsexual rips in four days garbage disgusting saran wrap we can think of. Ostensibly for vegans.
let's greenwash it also so that we can pretend our cost-cutting measures are morally superior and thus convince people that buying it is the more compassionate choice for animals even though massive habitat loss from plastics waste and production kills far more animals than leather production ever could
What's this? Dead by Daylight fanart? Hell yeah! The new survivor is just sooo cool, i always wanted an evil survivor. I just wish they had made them nonbinary but ah well, it's BHVR
Baddie Cain
how did she know her name?!?! hint: she's a stalker
At Target this lady told her son he couldn’t have a Wonder Woman doll because “that’s for girls” and then bought her daughter the same one. It got me thinking about how often I see people bar young boys from appreciating girls/women as protagonists and heroes, and my own experience with it as a kid.
