I’m all for saving money so I like to use free trials. But how many times do you use free trials on I forget to cancel them? I know I used to do it all the time. But Atlas helps with that Atlas is a secure credit card. But unlike other secure cards and helps to balance out you’re spending with what you actually have. It’s definitely went out way to build credit without putting yourself in a whole Lotta debt, especially if you’re bad at budgeting or already have debt. Holiday Shopping Saving Trick

I care across this a while ago but will share with you all a great trick to be prepared for any holiday or birthday. GIFT CARDS!!!!! You don’t have to gift the gift cards (although for that hard shopper it might be a good idea) but use them to shop for those holiday occasions. How? Simple, but gift cards to places you usually buy gifts and save them in a safe place, when holiday time comes or even a birthday you have you shopping already budgeted. Here is the best way to stock/obtain gift cards for the holidays:

1. Tax Refund: Most middle-low income families get a refund for taxes. Why not plan ahead? Buy a gift card or two. Make these larger amounts like $100 or more. That way you don’t have to borrow as much if any around the holidays.

2. Apps: Why not earn them!!! There are many apps to earn gift cards especially as you shop. Apps like Drop let you connect your card and earn for shopping. With your points redeem gift cards. Fetch let you scan your receipts 🧾 and get point towards gift cards as well. Honey and RetailMeNot also gain points for shopping 🛍 that can be turned into gift cards.

3. Cash Back: Many debt, credit and now even pre-paid cards have cash back options or features. Usually it is deposit around a certain time frame. There are also cash back apps like Honey and Spent. Use the extra cash to get gift cards.

4. Surveys: Not the most lucrative but can do the job. Paid surveys sometimes offer cash or points that can convert to gift cards.

5. Weekly/Monthly Budget: If you can manage you can also just set a monthly or weekly budget. $5/week is $20 a month, 20 x 12 = $240 in gift cards. You can budget however much you want but make sure it’s an affordable amount.

6. Child Support: For mom’s fortunate enough to actually get child support payments you can take part of that payment and get gift cards. On a monthly basis it adds up.

These are examples but whether you budget the amount or use extra income over the year there are ways to save during the holidays by saving gift cards throughout the year.
