Saw a tiktok of Remus adopting a Lestrange son bc his parents got sent to Azkaban and now I’m thinking about Remus just adopting all the children of death eaters that have passed or are imprisoned.. just imagine them getting out thinking they’ll finally reunite with their children and have a new generation of death eaters just to find out they’re all dangerously loyal to this one lanky werewolf who gives them hugs and hot chocolate on a regular basis 😭😂😂

I have been asked to elaborate, I can make more but I feel like this was getting long SO off we go!

Remus as a child of Hypnos

- Remus who hates attention and is creepily calm with a thousand yard stare that will often put people off bc he’s so lost in his thoughts he’s not even realizing what’s going on around him most of the time

- The other campers don’t know why Remus barely speaks until one day he does and find out his voice sounds like a lullaby and can put people to sleep rather quickly if you’re not careful

- Children of Hypnos are often intelligent, thoughtful deep thinkers who see the world in unique ways

- He isn’t just “dreamy”, he is rest personified and can quiet minds at touch of his fingers but can also cause insomnia and sleep deprivation if you hurt the people he cares about

- Can put himself or others into “healing comas” where in sleep they restore energy and heal faster than normal

- Alternatively can put people in “nightmare comas” where the person/monster is put into a coma and is constantly in a nightmare/hallucination of their worst fears

- Dream walking/communication, Remus constantly tired as all Hypnos children are but no one knows that Remus is tired bc he spends his nights “dream walking” or “astral projecting” into other campers dreams and soothes the nightmares of children no matter the cabin

- Hypnos and his connection to the underworld means most of his children can also shadow walk, traveling through shadows and will usually get along really well with children of Hades (*cough*Regulus*cough*)

- Hypnos is both a minor god, and a primordial…. Mean Remus and any children of Hypnos aren’t just half god they are half Primordial.. remember that

- Everything comfy, he’s always wearing the comfiest sweaters, his room is all comforters and pillows and blankets and everything is always the perfect temperature

- Constant bags under his eyes

- Moony is still the perfect nickname ☺️

"Soul-binding" is a ritual where if you bind yourself to someone then you will be with each other in every lifetime and whenever one of you dies, then the other dies as well. My 15 y/o self saw this concept in a Dramione fic once and immediately decided that she needed to write one for Wolfstar. I just remembered it the other day so I thought I'd share it. Also, I picture them having a private soul-binding ceremony cuz not only is it more powerful but also because gay marriage wouldn't be legal in the UK for a long time.

i love that he wears grandpa sweaters and most of his classmates don't even know what he sounds like, but all of his friends are a little mesmerized by his deep voice, his muggle cigarettes, and his music taste. i love that his favorite activities involve reading a book and napping, but every time he takes the lead on a prank, it's always an epic one that hogwarts talks about for months. i love that he sucks at sports, but makes the smartest comments about quidditch matches. i love that he's so skinny that his uniform sleeves keep slipping, so he rolls them up and obliviously gives sirius a gay panic over forearms. i love that he thinks he's bland and awkward (and that he really is) but that he also has the greatest laugh the gryffindor tower has ever heard, the cleverest comments anyone could ever make, a dry humor that no one sees coming, and a sense of kindness that makes you melt in your own skin.
