Hii! First off this rp looks so cool!! Secondly, the wanted connections page says no URL found? I just wasn’t sure if that was a glitch or if there aren’t any wcs yet!
Thank you! At the time though we don’t have any current wanted connections that’s why the links to the tag shows as URL NOT FOUND. But if any members wanted to submit wanted connections request they can do so over here.

Are nephilim necessarily good?
No they’re not. It all depends on their upbringing, they could have been raised to believe they were creatures of good, just as they could have been constantly reminded of the (for lack of better words) abomination they are. There are plenty of possibilities for either good or bad nephilims.

Keira Hart
A B O U T
Name: Keira Hart
Age: Twenty-Four
Species: Witch (Demon/Possessed)
Occupation: Sous Chef @ Silverhill Restaurant
Gender/Pronouns: She/Her
Neighborhood: Blackrose
B I O G R A P H Y
Trigger Warning Included: death mention, stillborn birth
Keira Hart was born to be the light of her parents’ love, the apple of their eye, and proof that magic still existed in the world that was untapped and wild in the most beautiful ways but that wasn’t the case. When her mother gave birth to Keira, she was stillborn. Her parents grieved and mourned the loss as they clung to her tiny, lifeless body and called on any power that would listen to them to grant their one wish; to give their daughter life. They called on their own light magic, bathed in it, and pleaded as their tears ran dry and left them empty and hollowed out with the loss that resonated with every silent second that followed their pleas. It wasn’t until a voice answered did they accept their defeat as their powers failed them and they gave themselves over to the promises of a whispering spirit that would give them their daughter but for a price. A life for a life. In one fell swoop they had their daughter back–but only for a time.
As a long limbed and knobbly kneed child, Keira was given all the love that both her parents possessed. Unfortunately for the young girl, that wasn’t to last for much longer than her youth. On her eighth birthday, her birth mother was lost in an accident. A gruesome death that followed her and her family in whispers throughout the rest of her life after they all came together for her mother’s wake. For one moment, they were all joined by the pain of a passing soul, but just as suddenly as they all came into her life, they were gone again. Keira’s surviving mother moved them to Verth Hollow not even a week after her mother’s passing. From there, her mother did her best to make sure Keira never knew sadness beyond the growing pains of being raised by a single parent. Keeping her blind to the troubles that lurked on the other side of the wards and bindings that both parents placed on her to save her from the claim on her life.
For what Keira didn’t know, was on the night of her birth, her parents struck a deal with a demon. Keira’s soul–for her life. With their combined powers they bound her to this life, and kept her from letting her own magic become realized. Born of two strong witch lines, she knows nothing of the that world. Her parents too terrified the demon would be able to use Keira’s own magic against her if she came into them early. One her eighth birthday, her magic grew so strong it broke through the wards her parents had placed on her birth, so to save her–her mother sacrificed herself to bind her again. So convinced they were, that if they kept her powerless, the demon would have no reason to take her–to leave Keria’s soul alone for as long as possible. Perhaps forever.
What they didn’t know, couldn’t know, was the demon hadn’t fallen for their ploy, for demons were a wily and patient creature. It didn’t take much to corrupt a soul in their opinion, just chip away, little by little, and eventually every soul came to them with enough persuasion. It started as a whispered voice in the back of a young Keira’s head, much like a subconscious voice warning of dangers, or spurring childhood fun. Never anything that would be noticeable, or suspicious, but enough to get Keira to trust. The older Keira grew, the more bold the demon became, until it started to assert control of her body, leaving her having moments of strange blackouts that she attributed to stress or lack of sleep. Keira has always been a restless soul, never able to settle on one hobby, or one sport, or one path of knowledge in college. There’s always been something in her, leaving her discontent in every aspect of her life. She’s happy, sure she is, but she’s never content. There has always felt like there was something, just off the edge of her thoughts, waiting for her to reach it–she just can’t figure out what it is. Or how to reach it.
Demons are patient, but not that patient, and soon will come the time when the binding placed on Keira will final wither and break under their power–and she will be theirs. Everything always comes to them in the end.

Montgomery LaCroix
A B O U T
Name: Montgomery LaCroix
Age: Thirty-Three
Species: Witch
Occupation: Librarian at Verth Hollow Public Library
Gender/Pronouns: He/Him
Neighborhood: Landhall
B I O G R A P H Y
Trigger Warning Included: self harm, possibly body horror, murder, violence
For the first few years of his life Montgomery was used as a pawn in a game he didn’t know his mother and his grandmother were playing. He was a happy enough child, never lacking for love or attention, but he was possibly the last in the line of LaCroix witches. A thing his mother had no intention of embracing, or passing on to her only child. She was insistent on living a life as close to normal as she could. The closest she came to anything arcane was the crystals and incense she sold in her shop, like they were barely more than souvenirs. His father was barely present at all, a stranger who drifted in and out of his life on the occasional holidays. Presents and affection offered awkwardly when the man had never expected a one night stand to result in a son.
It was his grandmother that held him to higher standards, hoping her grandchild would embrace the power his mother had rejected. It became their little secret, small spells taught to him when she thought his mother wasn’t looking, and he was eager for those scraps with all the curiosity of a child being taught something forbidden.
Perhaps if he hadn’t straddled that line between magic and normalcy, he wouldn’t have been quite so vulnerable to the demon that attached itself to him when he was barely a teenager. It was a slow escalation, petty signs of destruction at first, his homework shredded in the morning, his mother’s things broken. Montgomery left shouldering the blame for it, his single parent convinced that he was a teenage boy beginning to act out. Soon he was barely sleeping, woken up in the middle of the night to whispers he couldn’t find the source of, nightmares where he believed there were insects crawling inside his skin. Not realizing they weren’t dreams until he tried to carve them out, the scars he left a thing he still carries.
By the time anyone realized something was truly wrong, he was already some hollow version of himself. Enough for the demon to take control, Montgomery shoved into a corner of his own mind. Incapable of doing anything to stop it when his mother tried to intervene, or when his own hands cut her open. He only regained control because it chose to leave, so it could take his mother’s corpse instead of him.
It was the last time he saw her. Left alone in their house with blood on his hands, and that was where he still was when his grandmother found him.
She took him in after that, but even with the demon gone, there was a hollowness left behind. Left sullen and distant, he couldn’t shake the lingering nightmares, or the fear that it might start all over again. His grandmother was as patient and gentle with him as the woman knew how to be, but it didn’t lessen her insistence that he learn more of the magic that was his birthright. In the end it was witchcraft that helped him start to feel more like a person again, instead of a terrified child. Desperate for anything that could make him feel safer, magic was the answer to that.
Power became the only thing worth caring about. Normalcy became the illusion he created for everyone else, nothing he truly had a sense of any longer. Lying got easier the older he got, until it was secondhand. He finished school, went on to college, but his spare time was spent scouring libraries and old bookstores for anything new he could teach himself. Anything that might protect him if that demon or another ever came back, whether it still wore his mother’s face or not. As long as he never had to feel that helpless again, weakness nothing he tolerated in himself anymore. He kept himself distant from his friends, his boyfriends, anyone that tried to get too close to him.
Three years ago his grandmother passed away. Much less violently than his mother, and once she was buried he made the decision to move to Verth Hollow. Vague mentions of the town and its monsters found in aging books, but those rumors were enough to draw him in when power was still the only thing he cared about. Utilizing his degree to secure a job at the library, he’s only recently begun to feel something truly different about this place.
AESTHETIC – the smell of aging books, lit by candles burning down to the wick. shadow figures at the end of the bed, gone in the blink of an eye

Lily Danvers
Rebekah Danvers
A B O U T
Name: Rebekah Danvers
Age: Thirty-Four
Species: Human
Occupation: Homicide Detective at the Verth Hollow Police Department
Gender/Pronouns: She/Her
Neighborhood: Landhall
B I O G R A P H Y
Rebekah Danvers was born the middle child to Martha and Howard Danvers. Howard Danvers, a powerful man who was the mayor of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, had high hopes for his children - as did his wife who worked in the District Attorney’s office. While Nathaniel, her older brother, went off to the Marines and was eventually accepted into the FBI, Rebekah went a different route. Philadelphia would always be her home, but Rebekah wanted a change and decided to go to school two hours away in Annville to a private college where she studied Criminal Justice, minoring in forensic psychology. Rebekah enjoyed it and she loved her studies, but what she loved the most was the six months she spent at the police academy. During her time there, Rebekah learned a lot about herself - even shedding the bits of herself she had grown to hate. It was at this time when Rebekah realized how mentally and verbally abusive her parents where to them as children and the woman decided it was best to leave the state and distance herself from them.
Without thinking, Rebekah accepted a job in North Carolina. While moving to Annville, PA was a slight culture shock from what she was used to in Philadelphia, moving to North Carolina was an even brutal culture shock. Her college was a very liberal college where many of the students knew what was acceptable; being surrounded by men at her new precinct made Rebekah realize the world was not like that. Hearing both racist and sexist remarks was something that was normal for those who worked at the precinct, but for Rebekah, it made her very uncomfortable. However, she refused to back down from doing her job and trying to change the ethics in the office.
Rebekah quickly had a target on her back because of this. Many anonymous threats her aimed toward her, even ones not so anonymous. But again, Rebekah refused to stand down and eventually Rebekah was promoted to detective and worked hard with the Human Resources department to make stricter rules. Because of the woman, many of the men were either fired or suspended and Rebekah continued her career in North Carolina with a target on her back … that was until she opened her door one stormy night to her sister standing outside her door, hair soaked and make-up running down her pale cheeks and only one word whispered. “Help.”
At first the older sister couldn’t believe what her sibling was telling her; monsters weren’t real. Of course, Lily was able to prove it to her and Rebekah immediately retreated into the comfort of the four walls she called her room for at least a day. Finally, Rebekah felt she was mentally capable to face whatever was happening and she ventured down to the living room only to find Lily crying on the floor, blood covering her lips and chin with a familiar lifeless face laying next to her. That man turned out to be one of the men who had it out for Rebekah; it seemed he was lurking around her property to harm her until Lily sniffed him out and killed him. Knowing Rebekah couldn’t stay in town, Lily suggested for them to move to Verth Hollow where she heard supernatural creatures flocked to; a place where she would feel a little more welcomed. Rebekah agreed and they were packed up within a day and driving out the next.
Upon arriving at Verth Hollow, Rebekah got a job at the local precinct and with her background, they welcomed her with open arms as the Homicide Detective while Lily got a job as a bartender. The two girls decided to live together where Rebekah could help her sister; they made a pact Lily would not feed on or kill anyone unless they deserved it, meaning, Rebekah would have to break the law and bring valid criminals to Lily.

Age: Twenty-Six (Thirty)
Species: Vampire
Occupation: Bartender at From Dusk till Dawn Bar
Gender/Pronouns: She/Her
Neighborhood: Landhall
B I O G R A P H Y
Trigger Warning Included: drug abuse, alcohol abuse
Lily Danvers was born the youngest child to Martha and Howard Danvers. Both parents were upstanding citizens in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; father Howard was the mayor of the city while her mother worked at the District Attorney’s office. Older brother, Nathaniel, was ten years older and always held the ‘popularity’ status at school with his participation in sports and academics while her older sister, Rebekah, followed in their brother’s footsteps. Lily, however, was the ‘black sheep’ of the family. Lily’s concentration in school was nearly nothing causing her grades to be fairly low. She wasn’t involved in sports nor did she care to be among the popular crowd. However, the Danvers name carried and she was expected to be on the level of her siblings; this caused Lily to rebel. At the age of 14 the girl began smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol with older individuals. By the time she was 16 Lily had had one overdose, and by the time she was 18, Lily had been in two rehab centers.
Once Lily reached the age of 18, her parents were tired of her rebellious tendencies and kicked her out of the house. Nathaniel gladly opened his doors but the girl declined and moved to New York City instead. Life was hard, but Lily made due. She got a few jobs as a waitress and bartenders when she could, she even was a dog walker for a little bit to try and make ends meet. However, no matter what she did, Lily couldn’t stay away from the lure of drugs and alcohol; she began using again.
Eventually Lily entered into a toxic relationship with a man who was everything she wanted. While the two really were toxic for each other as they both participated in drug use and abuse of alcohol, Lily loved him with every fiber she had. Despite the fights, despite the battles, the bruises, the raised voices - Lily stayed with him because she found a home within a heart; a home she felt like she never had … until that home was taken away.
One night, after closing the bar she was promoted manager to, Lily was jumped in the alley as she was walking to her apartment. Upon waking up, she was wet from the rain and her blood around her. As she didn’t have health insurance, Lily limped to her apartment where Brandon freaked out over her status. Refusing to go to the hospital, Lily pleaded to let her shower and go to sleep but he persisted, so much so it angered the girl and forced her newly grown teeth to protrude. Lily attacked the love of her life, drinking his blood as if it was her lifeline. Brandon managed to fend her off but the damage was done; Lily was fully transformed into a vampire.
Lily found her older sister Rebekah, tears streaming down her face unsure of what to do. Lily told her sister what had happened and Rebekah promised she would help Lily no matter what. They moved from North Carolina, where Rebekah lived, to Verth Hollow at the suggestion of Lily. What’s when the girl got a job as a bartender at the Dusk Til Dawn bar and kept a low profile since, only feeding on the humans Rebekah gives her.
