Cheronica 06x22 (probably top 3 riverdale episode i'm not even kidding, my favorite finale,, there's just so much going on, so many emotional scenes,, ahh, perfect <33)

We have so much cheronica content too!! (and i'm not only talking about the kiss...) the build up is as insane as the kiss for me)

beginning of the episode, already me dying over this. Not Heather being in the middle to prevent cheronica from happening /j (they're in the same positions tho omg that's so funny)

she's saying that looking into cheryl's direction stop. As in she's the person she's thinking about when she thinks about sophmore year (so her first year in riverdale)

Of course comets have to be made of ice. So you're telling me, miss Veronica "my specialety is ice" Lodge is going to transfer everyone's power (via a kiss) to miss cheryl blossom so she can melt it?

Not Archie coming to Veronica to ask for a engagement ring... Just like Toni asking Cheryl to officiates Tangs wedding. They're both linked to their exes i'm not okay.

Look at all of cheryl's love interest on the same couch. It's so canon

Omg this moment. I've made so many jokes with Tabitha saying "there's a reason why you stayed in riverdale" since 6x18 i believe) (and with the way the show is showing this flashback while veronica's thinking and creating her plan, i can interpret it that way BUT the fact that she's canonically aknwoledging it?? When she reunites them in her house and betty's saying that veronica sucking up charle's illness or what she'd done to her absynthe wasn't random, and was leading to this moment... oh my god. It's one thing to think about it and making a connection, there's ANOTHER THING being able to put my thoughts into Veronica's mind and having proofs (or content) to do so!!

I can't believe she just sat there with her dirty ass father's portrait, that she desingrated because of her venom.. and then she thought about her being a human dyalisis machine, cheryl wasn't powerfull enough, so she thought about absorbing their powers but also how to transfer it to cheryl. by a kiss. (she was replaying 6x14 in her mind i'm telling you, she finally realized how sus that was of cheryl to ask her that, she knew cheryl wanted to do it i fucking can't, she really thought of kissing cheryl BY HERSELF.) (+ the fact that i can canonically associates that with "there's a reason you stayed in riverdale) (my funeral.)

Also this "your phoenix power trumps my poison power" logic makes no sense, she'd have an exemple to back up her theory (and it's 6x19) i already talk about it in the post dedicated to this episode but quick explanation : veronica's not supposed to touch anyone right? (i mean skin to skin) and yet cheryl and veronica were holding hands for the spell. what if it's in this moment that she realized that cheryl was immune. (it's the same episode where we got the revelation about her phoenix power) it's canon for me idc)

THIS CRACKS ME TF UP OMG!! Heather just broke up with Cheryl, because "you and toni are soulmates" whatever, AND Veronica is texting her (and them) at THIS moment, pls can we be fr for 2 seconds. (it's giving in season 5 when cheryl called veronica just after she killed her husband)

But anyway, let's keep that in mind ; Cheryl's heartbroken, Heather is leaving her alone while she was able to open her heart again thanks to her, like it's really sad... and yet look at how.. happy she is? idk but definetely not sad anymore (maybe she was hiding her pain) (but im sure she was feeling better) The banter is so real.

"no not randomly b. What if i can use my gift to absorb all our abilities and give them to Cheryl to augment her pheonix powers." Guys the amount of time i was reffering to the "this is why i stayed in riverdale" (like jokingly saying "yes to kiss cheryl thanks you" BUT RIGHT HERE SHE'S PROVING MY POINT???? like okay she didn't say it like that but also, she planned EVERYTHING. She realized that she could use her powers to absorb their powers AND how to give it to Cheryl. She even thought of Archie's invulnerability and brought the dager of megido, girl has all figure it out i fucking can't.

look how scared my girl was. It's so funny because at this part of the plan she was talking about the others, she had to absorb THEIR powers, cheryl was not part of that, and yet she's the most frigthen lmao

Okay this part feels like a parralel to 6x14, like what they're saying have double meanings and they were reffering to that conversation (AND IT WAS AT THE SAME PLACE, ON THAT SAME COUCH.)

"Don't worry Cheryl, i will be transferring our powers to you via.. a kiss :D" (the way she was having fun saying it, not phased for a minute, or embarassed or "scared" like nu-uh, girl was more confident than ever)

"A that's queerbating" (first of all, you don't know that you are in a show Cheryl, why would you say that? i don't think the people that were in the room wanted you and Veronica to happened) (she obviously meant it as in "i'm queer and you're bating me") (veronica can't play with her feelings like that yk) (and she wanted to be the one that asked "what about kissing even disspasionately" not Veronca using that as a ploy) (but she wanted it too Cher dw, she's just better at hiding it.) "And B, won't your poison kiss kill me?" THAT'S WHAT I WAS SAYING!! She obviously reffering to that whole scene because that's how she got the information in the first place !! "no, that's still much a third rail alas" pls pls pls (i'm sure she's annoyed that she doesn't have "the upper hand" anymore) (and that veronica turned her proposition against her)

It's funny tho cause during Choni's convo about them being vassals for Thabigail, Toni asked if it would be cheating, but here Cheryl's kissing Veronica and nobody cares (maybe because she just broke up with Heather but does Veronica know??) (anyway, they're both single women, pls just get together at this point)

She's waiting to be kissed, she looks so stressed stop (her dream finally comes true)

The fact that Veronica is the first one to open her eyes, so she can see cheryl's face who's still in shock and trying to recover from that kiss + Cheryl finally opening her eyes, when cheryl's looking at her Veronica smirks "hm" (still holding her cheek btw omg i'm unwell) cheryl's still in shock (same)

Veronica titls her head, the smirk "hm" it has so many meanings stop. Either to hide how much she enjoyed that and do an opposite reaction from cheryl's (to prove that she has the upper hand) OR it's to tease her, like "hm not bad" or that queerbating line, to make her swallow it "i know you enjoyed it" kind of vibes

AND THE WHISTLE??? (she's so sily) she was not facing cheryl anymore so it was not for her (or maybe she heard it idk) but i think it was for the others (who were really disturbed by the kiss lmao they weren't expecting it to be that passionate i think) So she's proving to the other that it was completely casual for her, she doesn't care about what happened, it was "profesionnal" yk (but if that was really her intention then it's super sus cause why would you pretend if it's not the case in the first place)

OKAYY WOOOW!! Just rewatched this episode i still love it so much oh my god!!

Cheronica speaking there's not much, so i will also say a few things on the trailer because i haven't watched it before today. (i've already watch the show many times now) (but still discovering new things)

Betty being blessed by cheronica's hand on her shoulder, we love it (poor betty tho, look at her face :((

Okay now the trailer. What do you mean cheronica kiss was the thumbnail?? WHAT DO YOU MEAN CHERONICA KISS WAS MORE IMPORTANT TO SHOW THAN THABIGAIL?? They're not even in the trailer?? What do you mean you couldn't have use Barchie proposal scene as the thumbnail? What do you mean cheronica kiss was more shocking than veronica shooting cheryl?? oh.my.god. the power of cheronica you guys.

Listen, i love Rivervale. I think it's so interesting witnessing all of this madness and seeing the show finally embracing magic, it's so refreshing and it works so well (for me)

But there's so many thing that doesn't make sense to me?? in the beginning of episode 5, they all woke up and had nightmares about the events that took place in the first four episodes (veggie with the devil, barchie with the maple festival, cheryl and her ancestor's story + body swap with her and Nana, and Tangs about La Llorona) except when Tabitha and Jughead comes visit Rivervale in episode 20 Cheryl is confirmed by Britta to be Nana, in Abigail's body and the confirmation that Cheryl never existed BUT THEN during the final battle, Jughead used the Rivervale characters to stab Percival when he was in Jughead's mind... "Cheryl" was there and was doing perfectly fine?? No dementia, no wheelchair??

Rivervale is so confusing to me because, those events (writer) Jughead was reffering to was in their dreams right? The four first Rivervale episodes ends up just being dreams the characters of Rivervale has... But why when Riverdale Jughead and Tabitha went into the Rivervale universe, Britta told them Nana's soul was in Cheryl, aka Abigail's immortal body?? And all the deja-vus the characters of Riverdale have, is only about the dreams of Rivervale, i was so confused the first time about this, and still am to this day.

Abigail, her lore is so confusing to me. All that "immortality" stuff, but a the end of season 5, when Nana told the story to Cheryl about how Abigail was killed by her friends's anccestors burning alive at the stake? Like did she really die? No because Abigail was still quite pissed at them and was calling them "her killers" but we had the confirmation that what we saw in the "dream" was true because, Abigail's backstory with Thomasina and Fenn existed, he was really a wizard.. Soo.. what about Abigail's immortality then? And if Abigail was Poppy this whole time too, i don't get why she didn't use her magic or something. I'm sorry i love 06×04 a lot, but the ending revelation just confuse me badly, i don't want Rivervale Cheryl to never exist? What about my Cheronica crambs in 06×01/j it's not the most important but still

well i might have to update a little bit on the last part of this post..

All the magical events that took place in RiverVale did not happen in RiverDale, so yes Abigail was indeed burned alive at the stake, some years later Thomasina's death i suppose, like Thabigail is still canon in RiverDale too after all.

But i guess Fenn just killed Thomasina when they were getting married, he just didn't curse Abigail with immortality. (even thought Abigail still called fenn "a wizzard" when she came back from the bar where she saw toni and fangs)

But that would mean that if Poppy and Cheryl were Abigail all these years, and she just created them to hide her immortality, did Poppy existed in Riverdale?

And that still doesn't explain the whole "Nana's soul was put in Cheryl's body, and all of nana's illness took over her young body" but when they took down percival "Cheryl" wasn't in a wheelchair anymore (so that is the true plothole left)

Wait wait i figured another problem. Still about Cheryl/Abigail/Nana btw, maybe there's another inconsistancy with the others but i mostly focus on that cause that's a lot to completely change a character.

Are we sure that 6x5 is canon? at least still count in the rivervale universe? Since it's the paradox and writer Jughead was sent to the bunker to be a living battery, but does the events that take place in this episode was forgotten by the others? No trace of the paradox? BUT if it's the case, cheryl and toni were together, even when the paradox is fixed (so during bughead's hug waiting for the bomb to explode) (then they come downstairs, they don't remember what they were doing) (and cheryl is still with toni at this point right?) what do you mean cheryl/nana bodyswap still happened? Was nana dating toni?? Ewwww (i don't think that's what happened) (but that's the conclusion i'm gettng)

I'm so lost with Rivervale, the characters in riverdale are getting dejavu from the events that took place in the fourth first episode. Like even if it was real because death doesn't exist in rivervale, i understand why toni, reggie even archie had dreams because they were indeed dead, but veronica? Or betty? Maybe they're trying to make them think it wasn't real it's still was?

And vale!jughead made a deal with Lou Cypher so that means the one he made in episode 3 doesn't count? AHHHH

Pls if someone has some answers/theory (at this point) i would gladly hear it !

I love this episode a lot (mostly because a lot of expositions) but Well.. i shouldn't even dedicated an entire post for this one cause it's really poor in cheronica content but they're still interract!! (but no real moment with big meanings/interpretations lmao)

Not Archie receiving a call from Veronica (because of the whole situation at the casino) while cheryl's there too !! (she doesn't talk to her tho) (i mean not on screen, cause when we see the scene the call is already on for almost 2 minutes) (want to know what they said plss)

look at superteens!cheronica (i wonder what their letters mean, i think archie is "pureheart the powerfull" but the other? Love how cheryl's just a flame like yes, it's canon) (and veronica's no letter is just.. spider suit? idk you can really see anything the quality is bad) (but there's another shot where you can see better and i think it suppose to be echoing to her poison power) (slay spider women)

Oh this episode is so underrated for cheronica content. I'm giggling kicking my feet 3 times in a row. (they're so ahh)

(most of the scenes in this episode are just "what they could've done differently" and why them doing it that way have meanings) (for exemple cheryl interracting with veronica while her current girlfriend is there?)

First of all, when Sabrina arrives, Heather is obviously at her side because she knows her and is the reason why she's here in the first place. So Cheryl has to sit with the girls, and obviously she's next to Veronica (i know from the placement order that veronica chose to sit next to her) but my girls can't stop looking at each other.

Also i feel like maybe Cheryl feels threatened by Sabrina about Heather, they know each other and well.. she's attractive, so maybe she's close to Veronica for confort, as in "my girlfriend is busy right now so let me hang out with my other girlfriend.) <33

"my boyfriend sacrifice himself to bring me back to the dead as a way to rebalance the scales." I understand that V is looking at Cheryl like "wtf wdym she came back from the dead" but cheryl??? why are you panicking like that?? It doesn't make any sense (that smile at the end tho??) (it's giving "oh i would do that for you.")

Besides, Heather was looking in her direction, why not looking at her too? she's so sus.

Cheryl could've easily carried the book with her other hand and holding her girlfriend's hand (like heather could've altern her position) and to keep the link Veronica could've put her hand on Cheryl's other shoulder) but no that's not what happens uhu + the looks ?? Cheryl didn't look at Heather once, they were in their little world :((

AND the sequence of events: Cheryl reaching to Veronica's hand, without looking (as if you're making a move with your crush) Veronica looks at their hands and grabs hers, when cheryl feels it she then looks at veronica, as in "is it okay?" Veronica then looks at her, confirms it "yup it's fine" and then they start casting oh my babies!! witchy girlfriends y'all!!

Oh and I have a theory. Well i'm not sure of myself, because i might be wrong. But wasn't veronica supposed not to touch ANYONE? Like yes dr curdle was wrong about her dying soon but his advice are still true, her venom is from her saliva, her blood, her tears and perspiration.. so her hands can hurt too right? No because we don't see Veronica touching anyone else (like skin to skin), only objects, and ig it's not as powerfull as the venom in her lips, that's why the portrait desintegrated when she kissed it (and ig clothes don't count too)

My take is that that's the episode where she got to the conclusion of "your phoenix power trumps my poison power" and that actually makes sense knowing sabrina is going to tell her in the same episode (even if she saw it while she passed trought the veil) (i'm sure something clicked in veronica at that moment) (again might be wrong, but if i'm not then, it's a "plothole" but not really cause cheryl turns out to be really immune!!)

Anyway moving on.

"Kill me temporarely so i can visit my ex boyfriend in heaven." Veronica and cheryl both having to save their exes in the afterlife... So many similiarties guys.. (i know it's suppose to be tension/angst/suspens for Varchie/barchie whatever) i just see a cheronica hint : DD (nobody can stop me)

this scene is cracking me up. tabitha staying silent during these two "argue" like they're so silly, "is this gonna hurt" as in veronica is a bit afraid and obviously cheryl says the opposite of her, like it's a contest of bravery. "in riverdale? a lot" she's killing her vibe pls, even sabrina call them off to stop, they're so obvious.

They look so silly like that, but also cheronica rising from the dead as they should. (knowing they both died in rivervale) (jughead paradox)

"your pyrokinesis is just a manifestation to a much more potent gift" THEY'RE LOOKING AT EACH OTHER!! And the shows wants us to aknowledge it for some reasons?? (it fits my theory tho, it's the moment we got the revelation for the phoenix power) (i want to imagine that these two talked waiting for sabrina to come back, and veronica told her her "theory" that chery's immune too) (it makes sm sense to me stop.)

Anyway after this, no more cheronica interraction but i'm not done!

Not Veronica complaining about maybe going to have to planned barchie's wedding when she asked tabitha if they were endgame (parralel with cheryl officiated tangs wedding rahhh) (they're meant to be even in pain)

But for me it makes no sense that suddently Veronica wants to almost break Barchie so she can have Archie, but two episodes ago she tore into Drake to protect Betty and Archie's relationship??

What if the future that tabitha saw had cheronica in it, but she didn't say anything because that was not Veronica's question. What if in every barchie endgame reality there's a cheronica endgame.

(i know this one is 6x16) I love the scene at the beginning where they all gathered at pop's (in el royale) and obviously veronica is there too so cheryl isn't unhappy to be there like last time

(i mean i understand why she was rushed like that, she didn't understand why she had been called for something that were about the workers) but still... veronica wasn't there, and nobody can't stop me from seeing a cheronica hint there

"Playing devil's avocate which is what i do best" love how veronica reacted to that. like "yes girl true, i know you do" hihi (love how she was a bit shocked that cheryl proposed to kill percival with her pyrokiensis power, the others were baffled but she just raised her eyebrows lmao)

When veronica was like "you are fighting for Jughead and your familly buiseness, Betty and Archie fights for each other, Toni and Fangs fights for baby Anthony" notice how she did not speak about Cheryl.. interesting

I don't have much to say about this, maybe that was mostly for the fan and being like "heather is not the reason" but i'm not anti cheather lmao i don't want to think like that (but that means veronica thinks cheryl has nothing to fight for.... idk maybe try to fight for each other ladies)

But how.. symbolic that Veronica has to learn to be alone (and is forced to do so) and cheryl spent 7 years in isolation alone, like she's much more independant than Veronica... Maybe she can help her with that yk

i feel like when she said "every book changes the reader in some way" i think she was looking at Veronica intentionally, as if it was hinted that she read a book, thought of veronica, and it alterned something in her and the way she was seeing her and their relationship...

Also i cannot help myself but think of the season one finale, where she gave one of her spider brooche to Jughead before.. you know. Character's healing but mostly a proof of their bond.)

UGHH I LOVE CHEATHER SM!! it's funny because when i first watched the show, i couldn't believe heather was genuine and didn't have bad intentions towards cheryl, so that kept me from really enjoying their scenes together. But now that i rewatched knowing she was sincere from the beginning... oh boy i had such a blast.

Seeing cheryl talking to her 8 ball (poor girl couldn't have a red one), following her trought her days of contacting heather, she was so adorable?? "noo presh" she's so silly,, or her reaction when she called heather and heard her voice omg, she's so adorable i want to eat her.

Im so sad that Cheather had to end like that. Heather is the literal representation of cheryl's past. By having them dating each other she is symbolically healing from that past (and also being able to have a real closure after so many years...) (penelope when i catch you) (no because it's one thing that she banished her BUT KEPT ALL THOSE SWEET LETTERS FROM HER?? knowing that cheryl must've need a reassurance that heather wasn't mad at her or anything..)

Also Heather knew Jason, at least in passing, cheryl could finally talk about her brother with someone who knew not only him, but was cheryl's life when he was still alive yk

And besides that symbolic, i just think they're perfect together? Like yes we're not used to see cheryl in a gentle, calm, steadfast kind of love, but i feel like that exacly what she needs. She's actively a better person at Heather's side and it's so beautiful to watch?? When heather came back, cheryl was eye hearting her the whole episode Imao, my girl is so down for her, it's so cute to see adult cheryl in love (reciprocicate love, cause ofc she loves toni but.... in a sad way)

One scene that really proves me Cheryl is changing, is when she admits to Heather that she didn't wanted to turn thornhill into a library originally and she just wanted Heather to stay with her. It's not the first time Cheryl manipulated her way around to have what she wants (cannot forget the key party), but the fact that she's realising by herself that this is bad, and she shouldn' "lie" to her AND decided by herself to tell her, genuine character development im so proud of her<3

I love how Heather didn't felt threatened by Toni, like yes heather was the one at cheryl's side but even seeing cheryl being hurt by toni's bombshell about the wedding, she wasn't worried that she still felt some kind of love towards toni

Also love how she didn't take cheryl's outburst personally, i don't know if it's because cheryl was already like that when they were kids or if just.. she just naturally handle cheryl (another proof that she's made for her idc) (she made cheryl talks about her emotions? that's so new to me oh wow)

Another thing a little unrelated but just a though i have. The fact that Cheryl struggles a lot to say that heather and her were witches, at first i thought i was a metaphor for lesbianism, but cheryl is out and proud (she did not pull a kevin keller) so it's not that. Idk if it was because it's a bit flirty and she's flustered (and, let's admit it, a little turned on) or maybe she can't really believe her childhood sweetheart is a witch, something so unreal and mystic? Like it makes their relationship special? or she feels like "it's too dreamy to be real?" or maybe she was just not as confident on the topic as heather was, since she was the student who had to learn, meanwhile before heather's arrival she was the gang's witch)

But anyway, i love them so much and i'm still so sad that they were done like that... (no ily scene?: (((i wish they would've talk about the letters too)

Even if toni and cheryl are soulmates, toni was married and in a "happy relationship" and i wouldn't want to see cheryl waiting over her AGAIN yk, like i'm "thanksfull" for heather to be honest with her, and im not mad at her for leaving cheryl but also.... she left cheryl. Alone. While she was doing so well. But it's okay she took that comet right trought her face and we didn't have to deal with it anymore (i would've love to see a season post comet tho, they were so many situation to unpack and develop)

I truly feel like they're the perfect match for each other, even for heather, like yes we don't know her very well, but it feels like she wants to be with cheryl, she's happy by her side, she doesn't want to fix or save her, just be with her and facing everything at her side. (to me) they were endgame material.

Toni wouldn't be the only one to feel like something's wrong. oh and about that it feels a bit obvious knowing how their conversation went. what do you mean Cheryl didn't remember of the baby she helped toni giving birth to? Like it was obvious knowing the circumstances.

Im certain that if Veronica hanged out with her she would've be able to find out too. I dream of this. Veronca acting flirty as always with "Cheryl" but Abigail doesn't have a clue of who she is (since her ancestors were not part of her killers) or what her and cheryl had (she just knows about toni yk).

How cool that would've been. Abigail questionning herself about the kind of bond Cheryl and Veronica shared just with one conversation. (veronica would be suspicious so quickly, if cheryl doesn't match her vibe. either she's pissed at her (and even when she is she can't help herself...) or.. it's not just cheryl :DD

We could've have so much more cheronica scenes in season 6.

Veronica and Cheryl both thought the explosion was their fault. And either of them could've talk about their theories with the injured one of course. But nor Cheryl nor Veronica were touched by the explosion/the curse.

The fact that THE THREE PERSONS Cheryl cursed were targetted, like i don't think if jughead was not injured she would've think it was her fault, but he did too. Reminder Veronica's ancestor were not involved. Cheryl would obviously not come to Jughead, Betty and Archie about it since she thought it was her fault. And i feel like she would've trust Veronica enough to tell her about her theorie and her "powers", it would've been so good ahh

And Veronica obviously because of her father (and it happened to be the truth) and i think she should've feel really awkward to talk about it with them, that leads to Cheryl... (or what happenned, Reggie, but Cheryl was alone trying to reverse the curse, she deserved Veronica at her side idc)

Also the fact that Betty and Archie were kinda outed about their relationship because of that.. Veronica would've feel a bit sad to realize that Archie already moved on from her.. but imagine Cheryl? 4 episodes ago was taking care of her injured hand and told Veronica to "go home, so she can be her gorgeous self" when Archie will came out of the mine, she was actively aware of their relationship... and now Betty was at Archie's house, in the middle of the night ? Maybe she would've text Veronica or something, just to check in!

I love it so much it's so interesting!! (it reminds me of season 5, post time skip when everyone was gathering at the town hall meeting when Toni said the school was going to stay open) (she announced Veronica, as Veronica "Gekko", Cheryl knew she warried like that) (I love to understand how the other characters learns information that we already know)

it would've make so much sense that they're find their way back to each other.

Throwback to season 3 real quick. I want to touch on about the whole "toni and cheryl are exiled from the serpents" situation.

First of all, the situation was so difficult for Jughead, i don't think he was being a bad leader there. If he just forgave both choni and fangs then why would he not do it again for other members yk? His leadership was in danger related to his authority and order, so i get it. Knowing that Fangs was dealing because he couldn't afford his mom's treatment without it + Jughead didn't told them the rule about not doing crimes, Fangs situation was his trigger to do that. Cheryl and Toni were robbing people's house for their own pleasure, for the thrills of it, and Cheryl didn't have any loyalty towards the serpents whatsoever, it was not a good idea to keep her in the gang yk (not hating cheryl's my favorite character, but i cannot defend her here) BUT I CAN EXPLAIN WHY.

Of course if i'm talking about this it's because it's going to be related to Cheronica. Like wdym she stole from Hiram, so, Veronica's dad AND left a trace behind her?? what for ??

My take is that they were some kind of beef towards them or something, since 5 weeks have passed, anything could've happen without us knowing. Also it would've been so much fun if the robbing scene happened BEFORE choni going at La Bonne Nuit. (thr flirting. the looks guys. Veronica was not looking at Toni ONCE) (sorry) (no actually i'm not, one of my favorite cheronica scene. using of french words. the way Veronica is looking at her and keep doing in when she's leaving them. hyperventilating rn.)

Or maybe, Cheryl was trying to prove a point to Toni, like reassure her or something. I'm SO CERTAIN that during 3x8 Toni made some comment about Veronica (wdym toni was on rest duties at cheryl's and her girlfriend spent the entire day with Veronica? At some point Cheryl was back at home when Veronica texted her after she called Betty, Toni must've said something like "ugh.. Veronica again?" Maybe Cheryl and Toni had a little argument about it, and now Cheryl, by stealing Hiram (and by definition Veronica) is proving that she "doesn't care" about Veronica as she activelly putting her in trouble

Maybe Cheryl kissed the portrait because she was feeling even more rebellious after Jughead's speech but.... one thing that doesn't make sense with all of that. Later on the episode, Betty is asking some adults of riverdale (and cheryl?) if they would agree to take in a few girls that escaped the Sisters. And Cheryl agrees.. how nice of her right ? Why would she be okay to help people she didn't even know, but she was willing to put the serpents (those who welcomed her) AND HER OWN GIRLFRIEND in danger because of one stupid egg??

No she had reasons to do that, it's so sus. also not hiram being like "you need to find me that egg" "and why is it my responsability??" (i would love him to say "bc that's your girlfriend mija") but no he just blackmailing her :((( (dad of the year yay

the fact that tabitha, as a time traveling guardian angel, is outside the narrative and jughead is the narrative (writing it), she's sewing the narrative and trying to make it hurt less but you're somehow fated to die, no matter how hard she tried. no matter how many realitiies she explores. you always end up dead... but wait, you're not actually dead? you'll be able to live after all, and live a perfect full lifetime in relationship and raising a familly together.. except wait no, it was not real! not in the same way! it's just a perfect bubble that got INAHILATED because of THE F-ING comet that is going to ravage the plan of the earth... wait, you have a second chance in the 50's! except your girlfriend/soulmate exists too... but two versions of her.... and you're the only one who remembers... but she erase your memory.. you're starting a brand new relationship with another version of your girlfriend that you don't remember was your girlfriend. it's so great that even the wife of your deceassed hero/mentor/father's figure see what she had with the say dead man. and then you remember that you were suppose to be dead, and maybe that would've been A WAY BETTER END THAT WHAT WE ACTUALLY GOT. Angel tabitha will cease to exist (or exist alone... forever alone...) and 50's tabitha will just... end her life in chicago, with someone that is not you, and you're never going to see each other again. she would not even in the super pop's afterlife because... she wasn't the one who remembered what you had.... but angel tabitha.... who's fated to be alone forever.... and jughead became kind of an angel.. that's why you sometimes regrets not to be married...

i love Betty's journey in season 6 (hal, tbk, charles, drake, archie) except when it ended (polly and the gold auras??)

First let's talk about Hal and what she founds out about her repressed memory. I really love Hal's character a lot, i find it so interesting that he wasn't serial killer before the town meeting's speach betty gave at the jubilee, like how different he was raising Betty compared to what his childhood was-.. oh nevermind he was in fact grooming betty into becomming like him.. ofc he was. and it's revealed 4 seasons later.

No because even if in season 4 he made Betty killed Caramel, it was a "mercy killing" to end his suffering... not like.. this.)

It was one of the only time where i was like "well.. it feels like they just added it randomly just to add something to Betty's storyline" and i'm not saying that because of "we're figuring this out just now" since it was in her repressed memory, we couldn't find out earlier but everything related to alice?? The fact that she knew Hal was grooming her daughter into becoming a killer like him?? It just doesn't feel right with every scenes we've seen between Hal and Alice yk, like in season 1 "you're father? you think he killed Jason?" or she never felt afraid of him like she was during those flashbacks..

I really liked Hal without mentionning his black hood persona but.. he was the black hood all along, kinda dissapointed by that.

Between "the bleach" flashback + post caramel conversation at pop's + when she was afraid of the dark and "the monsters are more affraid of us" (the fact he only mentions betty and him and not her sister nor her mother feels so wrong) + it's revealed alice is the one having the MAOA gene (which makes a lot more sense now to why Charles does too) and him wanting betty to have it too + there's a corpse under the diner table (screamer)

But i still love how we keep talking about him and his effect on Betty's life and better understand herself. I still don't know what to think about Alice tho. Yes she was under preassure and she had to cover Hal's murder.. but when he was dead she could've told betty when she was struggling so much. The fact she thought she was capable of saving betty and handling "the darkness" is so wrong, she ended up screwing her even more than what Hal did cause she didn't even remember/or notice back then (repressed memory/too young)

Aura power - i love love it sm. I love the powers, i love analysing the powers and especially betty's, the fact that drake helped her upgrading it by better understand it (one of my favorite episode of the season) (they're almost all my favorite but shh)

The fact that the serial killer gene prevents her from seeing auras of those who was it is so cool. At first we thought it was more of a biology thing, like enzyme or idk what, but it's actually more related to the way betty SEES herself and her morality of it. She was able to upgrade her powers when she realized what was the problem.

As if maybe the reason why she couldn't see it before it's because she was "like them" (serial killer gene) but didn"t thought of herself like evil or threatening. But then, when she unlocked this knowledge and saw her mother's aura (who had the gene) she was able to see her own aura, because she realised that those with the serial killer genes are now really dangerous too as well so she thinks as herself threatening too now??

idk it's so interesting (or maybe it was a way to build up dretty, betty felt like she was falling for drake, and knew that it would put her relationship with archie in danger /j)

Charles - Men.. i love charles and betty's duo so much.

It's so complex bc of course he's not a good person and a good influence for Betty but he also played a role into betty's journey and self discovery.

When he confessed that he thinks his darkness self awakened when he also killed an animal (but he wanted to do it it's not the same) but betty saw her reflection in his eyes, saw her story in his, so the fact that she's able to take away his illness (thanks veronica), because it feels like she's "healing" herself too? (and also that prevents her mom to kill him and maybe awakened HER darkness as well) (it's so good)

The "i'm not gonna give up" "on me?" "on me." charles had hope she'll say something nice about him, i can't help but feel sad, i'm a bit fascinated by them.

Also, a bit unrelated but i find it interesting that this whole episode we're talking about Charles's illness as a metaphorism for his "shadow self", he said he was ready to die because it's his punishment for all his crimes, but he said that Chic was a "survivor" as in "he can live without me, he went trought a lot i'm not worried for him" but what if it was a way to tell that Chic is accepting a lot more his "darkness" than Charles

Idk i don't really have much to say about this, moving on.

i love that tbk was a random guy, like he wasn't treated as a mistery but part of betty's journey, part of her ptsd/trauma (knowing that she said to jughead that she wasn't herself when she was not ressearching on serial killer, it feels like tbk "bring her back to life", and kept her life worth to live + her "killer instinct"/auras, her "blind spots" and who she is, her relationship with archie, if she thinks she spend the rest of her life with him. He actually had a huge impact on Betty's life troughouht the seasons.

The scene where betty finally take down tbk!! w the song>>>) i find it so symbollic the fact she killed Tbk with her FATHER GUN, the parallel is insane cause in season 3, during the finale when betty had to either kill her father or her father killed her, she decided to shoot his hand so his gun would fall and no one had to die, she refused to be like him and proves him right "i will never be like you dad", but with tbk "i'm not like you" but she ended up shooting him with the same gun she refused to shoot her dad with?? Not saying that makes betty a killer or anything, she's an fbi agent + bro had kidnapped alice and charles, and killed the agent that were guarding them... but it's still interesting, because of what tbk said "we're kindred spirits" he wanted her to admit that she enjoyed the thought of killing people, which was not the case she's not like tbk.. but Hal? His point was not "enjoying killing" but killing, period. so so good.

And.... the way it all ended was so dissapoiting and silly to me after all the build up, with polly and her stupid golden aura... i wanted to see what that meant ugh-.

We had an entire episode on "betty's blind spot" but she wasn't questionning a new aura? We already proved that her powers were upgrading based on her knowledge/morality, but nothing really changed, polly just came back from the dead and convinced her that she was not evil and... that was that ig.

We had so many details and arcs in this storyline that it feels so odd it ends like that (love some good polly and betty moment ofc and i understand why betty took what polly said seriously, she loves her and felt guilty for her death and stuff but..) (poly seemed.... too good? too relaxed? Just like her farm self when she said that betty should forgive her father?) it's so silly that she just.. washed her feet to make it go away (i get it it's metaphorism and it's religious, she was compared with the harlot of babylon) but still.... don't get me wrong i'm satisfied that she can finally have peace with it and live the rest of her life happilly (but what was that about tho? just because she cheated on jughead???) (and wdym polly wasn't allowed in heaven in the first place? How did she have a "second chance"?) (getting her feet washed :')) (who done it? and why?)

Drake - Even if i love this little love triangle (between betty, veronica and drake ofc it was never about barchie lmao) Drake's purpose on the story was related to Betty's journey. She helped her so much without knowing it. Having someone that accepts and understand this side of her, without judging and allowed her to better understand it and explore, compared to the man she loves, who does not really vibe with this side of her that her father nurtered (not hal's first victim being fred omg :cc) like betty's pov in 6x17 is PERFECT ahhh

but this is not the last time betty and drake interracted!! (the call ahh) (not betty calling drake after archie confessed to her)

Betty quitting the fbi. She's going into the light (okay josie saltzman /j) no but yeah ig it has something to do with what polly said to her)

It's about what kind of person does she want to be for the rest of her life, being able to move on and focus on the future, a good future. (that's what she deserved.) Betty was never evil, it's like Archie said "and the fact that you're even worried about hurting me or anyone else, that shows what's in your heart" (also the little bird backstory, it was perfect, making a parallel with a wounded animal, but this time she got to save him because she wasn't under the influence of her father, like caramel was NOT HER FAULT, and she proved that to her, so good so so good)

Listen, i love Rivervale. I think it's so interesting witnessing all of this madness and seeing the show finally embracing magic, it's so refreshing and it works so well (for me)

But there's so many thing that doesn't make sense to me?? in the beginning of episode 5, they all woke up and had nightmares about the events that took place in the first four episodes (veggie with the devil, barchie with the maple festival, cheryl and her ancestor's story + body swap with her and Nana, and Tangs about La Llorona) except when Tabitha and Jughead comes visit Rivervale in episode 20 Cheryl is confirmed by Britta to be Nana, in Abigail's body and the confirmation that Cheryl never existed BUT THEN during the final battle, Jughead used the Rivervale characters to stab Percival when he was in Jughead's mind... "Cheryl" was there and was doing perfectly fine?? No dementia, no wheelchair??

Rivervale is so confusing to me because, those events (writer) Jughead was reffering to was in their dreams right? The four first Rivervale episodes ends up just being dreams the characters of Rivervale has... But why when Riverdale Jughead and Tabitha went into the Rivervale universe, Britta told them Nana's soul was in Cheryl, aka Abigail's immortal body?? And all the deja-vus the characters of Riverdale have, is only about the dreams of Rivervale, i was so confused the first time about this, and still am to this day.

Abigail, her lore is so confusing to me. All that "immortality" stuff, but a the end of season 5, when Nana told the story to Cheryl about how Abigail was killed by her friends's anccestors burning alive at the stake? Like did she really die? No because Abigail was still quite pissed at them and was calling them "her killers" but we had the confirmation that what we saw in the "dream" was true because, Abigail's backstory with Thomasina and Fenn existed, he was really a wizard.. Soo.. what about Abigail's immortality then? And if Abigail was Poppy this whole time too, i don't get why she didn't use her magic or something. I'm sorry i love 06×04 a lot, but the ending revelation just confuse me badly, i don't want Rivervale Cheryl to never exist? What about my Cheronica crambs in 06×01/j it's not the most important but still

well i might have to update a little bit on the last part of this post..

All the magical events that took place in RiverVale did not happen in RiverDale, so yes Abigail was indeed burned alive at the stake, some years later Thomasina's death i suppose, like Thabigail is still canon in RiverDale too after all.

But i guess Fenn just killed Thomasina when they were getting married, he just didn't curse Abigail with immortality. (even thought Abigail still called fenn "a wizzard" when she came back from the bar where she saw toni and fangs)

But that would mean that if Poppy and Cheryl were Abigail all these years, and she just created them to hide her immortality, did Poppy existed in Riverdale?

And that still doesn't explain the whole "Nana's soul was put in Cheryl's body, and all of nana's illness took over her young body" but when they took down percival "Cheryl" wasn't in a wheelchair anymore (so that is the true plothole left)
