Hello all! My name is Eris, and I run the Moonbeam Pokémon Sanctuary in the outskirts of Celadon. I spend just about all of my time caring for and rehabilitating pokémon in my sanctuary. I am genderfluid, so they/them pronouns are generally what I prefer online. However, most all other pronouns should be fine, too. My sanctuary is the singular most important aspect of my life.
Moonbeam Sanctuary is a pokémon sanctuary which specializes in ghost types, dark types, poison types, and other pokémon which many consider to be particularly dangerous, aggressive, or harmful due to popular misconception. There aren't usually more than a small handful of temporary residents at a time, so that I might give them my full attention as the sole employee. I focus on rehabilitating pokémon from injuries or poor experiences so that they may be released back into the wild or given a loving home.
These are the pokémon on my team, in whatever sense of the word!
Most of these are simply permanent residents of the sanctuary, in some form or another. In order, we have: Alistair, the Gengar. He has been my companion since I was a child. Cleopatra, the Arbok. She is a princess and demands to be treated as such, and she has malfunctioning venom glands. Moody, the Lampent. He has a tendency to frighten guests, but he is very nice. He will not evolve. Shade, the Banette. She has no legs, but this does not stop her. Pikachu, the Mimikyu. Showed up last month and does not leave. Only responds when I call them Pikachu.
The rest of the pokémon in my care come and go. You may see me mention those at some points, but these five will always be here! Unless Pikachu decides to leave.
That should be all for now! Have a good day!
