This is just because I don't think we see them interact enough and I don't think any of them are 100% up to date on the lore

In detail. What do you MEAN you caused a small nuclear meltdown in the football stadium?! That's actually worse than the real-life atomic boy scout! And that guy's house became a Superfund site!

Also baffled by the fact that the entire town wasn't gossiping about this the moment Mac set foot in Mission City again. It's a small town, they never shut up about anything, and a nuclear incident would've been the most exciting thing to happen there in a hundred years! Federal alphabet soup agencies everywhere, site cleanup which apparently involved the demolition of the stadium, and of course, a massive legal mess. A pact between Mac and Bozer would not be enough to keep that quiet.

I'm a firm believer that he was the topic of the small town gossip for years because he always had something going on

Skipped multiple grades

Went to college early

Dropped out to join the army

The whole his dad leaving/ living with grandfather/ living with the bozers

Everything else we know he got up to as a child

I also think he just ignored it because he was either doing an experiment or was used to it by the time he went back

The way he says that the nuclear meltdown was an accident and that all charges were dropped in season 2 sounded like he was used to having to tell people and justify the incident
