Did anyone else notice the fact that Doey is made up of 3 different kids is foreshadowed IN THE COMMERCIAL?
It clearly shows three different Doeys and each of them match the descriptions of each of them we see in the files
Matthew Hallard is most likely the tallest one because in his files, it said he was 15 and was often kind and a mentor figure to the rest of the children in the facility and the photo depicts this Doey holding on to the 2 younger ones to reflect that
Kevin Barnes is likely the bottom left Doey due to the manner in which he's interacting with the other 2 Doeys. This one shows disgust at being around the other 2. Kevin's file states that he was prone to getting into fights and had issues with the other kids often but was picked to become Doey due to his physical prowess.
The final Doey on the bottom right is most likely to be Jack Ayers. This Doey seems to have a child-like personality and is a lot shorter than the other 2. As we see in the intro, Jack may be around maybe 6-7 at the time of him going to the factory. The fact that he later falls into a vat of dough also supports this theory
I love this foreshadowing because of how clear it is to tell that there's 3 Doeys from the beginning and this picture perfectly reflects how we see Doey during his boss fight. Matthew, the oldest, feeling guilty for not saving those under his care, is shown taking care of two younger children who have also become part of Doey. Kevin, who screamed that all that everyone did was hurt and is clearly shown to be the most aggressive of the 3, is shown with disgust at being around his counterparts. Jack, who shouted for his parents before Doey's demise is shown acting childish with the other two, showcasing how young he was when he fell into the dough.
It's crazy how much thought has been put into this chapter
