header art is from an artist called 0705lxl, but for some reason I can't find any of their socials anymore. thankfully, I am able to credit somewhat but don't know if it is a real person (this is a real art style) @/movielosophy was extremely kind in permitting me screengrabs from this gif set as the far left and far right pictures for the second photoset. Luckily, the colors matched the first set very well! the show is Kill Me Love Me, and I recommend taking a look at both!

What they don't tell you about writing is that as you write, you discover scenes and entire plots that you hadn't accounted for that need to be written. So you can spend two hours writing and editing only to realise you're further away from the finish line than you thought you were when you started

dont trace reference images. dont even LOOK at reference images. in fact, don't ever look at anything that exists in the world, in person or in photos or in videos, even when you're not drawing, because you will still be able to use the memories of what something looks like as a reference when you're drawing it later. yes that includes yourself. destroy all the mirrors in your house. don't look down at your hands or feet. don't look. close your eyes. close them tight. forget everything. it's okay, embrace the darkness. just forget.
