JEGULUS – SLEEPY REGGIE

Listen. Regulus can't sleep at night because he's reading old Gothic novels or "The Picture of Dorian Gray" for the 2137th time.

Then he's sleepy all day, looks like a vampire, and is incredibly grumpy, but James loves him anyway.

Sweet, understanding James, who lets his boyfriend lie on top of him while they chat with their friends in the Gryffindor common room. James, who gently strokes his hair and holds his waist, watching Reggie's eyes flutter shut like a kitten's.

But when Reg wakes up, he's terrified and mortally embarrassed that he allowed himself to do such a thing. Will anyone think he's bored with the rest of the group's conversation? That he's being disrespectful and uncaring?

But when, flushed with shame, he apologizes to James and promises it will never happen again, James kisses him tenderly on the forehead. "It's an honor that you feel safe enough with me to fall asleep. Go back to sleep, sweetheart."

Since then, Regulus has been sleeping off the nights on his boyfriend's lap, and Merlin, he loves this man so much that he'll definitely marry him one day.
