The Chain is split up when sent through a portal and find themselves in what looks like Wild's Era...but different. The sky is completely red, and the land is swarming with mechanical monsters and strange, otherworldly shades, many of which seek to destroy them. The four groups do the only thing they can: fight their way to Kakariko and hope the others are there.

Lark has been fighting for survival these past four years as the sole living human. She doesn't know why she's here and many of her memories are gone or fragmented, but she intends to keep going no matter what, even if there's no one else to witness it. However, one day she sees something strange...people. Is it possible that she hasn't been alone all this time? She intends to find out.
