This is going to be my little corner where I will be updating with art, background information, essays, and thoughts for my ongoing book series: The Frankenstein - March tales.

In these stories, the Creature survives the end of the Frankenstein novel...only to end up in Concord, MA, during the late 1860s, where he happens to meet a certain March sister who is writing a book....

These books are 18+, adults only. Minor DNI.

I really like this russian edition of classic books. Letting famous artists do the covers in YA style was such a simple but clever decision. According to the recent study the number of teenage readers increased, possibly thanks to these covers. I own traditional classics with blank covers but if I ever see one of these in the wild, it’ll probably make me go feral.

Sometimes I think about how Sean Penn got the Best Supporting Actor for meandering on set, puking up his lines, and wandering off.

And then here's Jacob Elordi, learning throat singing, butoh dance, and getting 10+ hours of makeup and knocking it out of the park in this role.

Sorry Sean Penn fans. This award absolutely belonged to Jacob and you can pry that opinion out of my cold, dead, goth hands.

Another WIP, this one of when Adam/The Creature gets invited to dinner in Laurence Hall.

Laurie is still trying to figure this Giant Patchworked Boi out. Is he a threat? A friend? Why is Jo so into him?

Lo and behold, one of the first presents the March girls ever gave Laurie says 'hi' to Adam - one of Beth's kittens. Who, by this time, has become a rather rotund old lady cat who just loafs around the library in Laurence Hall.

Adam is thrilled to have another friend (or two) here.

This is my Christmas present for the stunning Sansan's community as a celebration of the love we all share for this couple and the love they share for each other : romantically or platonically they are each other's world.

the best thing about SanSan is that it doesn't even need to be a romantic love story to be one of GRRM's best demonstration of love and knightly devotion in those books anyway: man walked through terrific flames after being guilty of high treason to the crown just to save the only soul that doesn't see him primarily as a cruel monster and yet still accept her refusal and blame it on none but his own cruel actions. She is accused of high treason against the king, researched to be killed, potraited as enemy of the kingdom and yet all she cares about is if him now hate her.

Ah, did i mentioned that their relationship started with him ridiculoulizing her faith in true kinghts and merciful gods and then he end up crying for fail in his porpoise to be her white knight and is saved by death thanks to a priest?

And obviusly i chose this base because both couples have a story rich of marriage imaginery.

You ever hear someone say something and it just sounds like the weakest, whiniest bullshit imaginable? Like, obvious toxic masculinity bullshit aside the thing they're losing their minds over is only even an issue because they're going out of their way to make it one? My coworker was crashing out during a meeting because a game he bought *checks notes* gave him the option to chose his pronouns separate from the body selector, including "they/them" pronouns. Like, if you're that offended just don't use those options on your character? Play as a cisgendered character and do a hetero romance route? Why are you upset about choices no one is forcing you to make? Anytime someone complains about "wokeism" or whatever they call it, all it sounds like is that the ability to choose queer or non-white content happens to exist in proximity to them. I know it's all basically homophobia/racism/transphobia but I can't fathom 1.) the entitlement to believe every single game should cater to one person's specific tastes 2.) being so fragile that the simple OPTION to make your character queer, a woman, or non-white is enough to send him spiraling into a meltdown. 3.) That anyone could have a meltdown AT WORK. In front of their boss and coworkers over choices in a game that they do not have to make for their character and not be completely ashamed of their behavior. I mean really? You're hijacking the zoom meeting for this rant? You're making this my problem when the whole thing could be solved by just....making your character cis/het? And I know being a POC doesn't exclude someone from being a conservative dingleberry but how are you going to be Chinese-American and complaining that a video game has "too much diversity" (by which he means there are black NPCs and love interests.) Thank god the host shut him down on mic but he was still going at it in the chat with one other co-worker, who's a known ass-hole too. Unprofessional as fuck that this was even allowed to go on at all but after working at this company for 7 years I'm not even surprised anymore.
