"Though deeply devoted to his studies, the bard still makes time for the occasional adventure."
Another Dustin & Steve art! I'm really enjoying playing around with different brushes.

For nearly 10 years, people have been telling me to watch Stranger Things because I would love Dustin & Steve's relationship. But I kept brushing them off because "I don't like horror".
I finally watched Stranger Things.
I loved Dustin & Steve's relationship.
Going on a road trip with the radio on & realizing you’re not the only one in the car hoping for a Djo song is both peak 2026 energy & brings me back to high school.
please see fall guy if you have not. ryan gosling and emily blunt are both phenomenal (as always). it has explosions and romance and a dog that understands french and the song all too well and it really feels like a love letter to the stunt community and best of all, it’s a movie about the making of a movie, which i will eat up every time.
So my wife and I saw Wicked (we loved it).
She had never seen the musical and had no idea what it was about, other than being a prequel to the Wizard of Oz. I, a former theater kid, once had the soundtrack memorized, but it’s been so long I’d forgotten some of the finer details.
When we left the theater, my wife said she liked it, but she didn’t know what they’d cover in Act 2 because—hadn’t they concluded everything?
(Oh honey…)
She asks for spoilers, so I get carried away explaining what happens to Fiyero and Boq, and she says ‘oh! I know who the Lion is!’
I turn to her and—for the life of me, I couldn’t remember the Lion’s backstory so—I ask in all seriousness ‘Really? Who’s the Lion?’
‘The Lion’ she repeats, as if it’s obvious.
‘Yeah, the Cowardly Lion,’ I say. ‘I don’t remember his backstory. You think someone turns into him? Who?’
She pats my shoulder and whispers, ‘The literal lion is the Lion’
HOW!? DID I NOT!? PICK UP ON THAT??? 🤦♂️
Wanted to try making a comic page so- tada!!!
(this is also based on this as well as my last post. I would DEFINIETLY RECCOMMEND reading!)

2023 was the most eventful year of my life so far. Here’s a recap:
I got married!! 🎉
My wife and I went to Switzerland
My dad was killed in a random shooting
I published a book
Hoping 2024 will be a little less eventful 😅
I did not expect to become obsessed with the Tangled animated series in 2023 but here we are.
I love how all my friends were convinced I’d want to cosplay Varian but I’m over here screaming about how great Eugene is.
It's almost time for Zack and Cody's reservation at the Italian restaurant
One year ago today Thanks To Them premièred and the whole TOH fandom lost its mind. Imo waiting for the episode to come out was just as great. The whole bi pin, all the promos and trailers it was ICONIC. The episode itself just as good and exceeding expectations ✨ truly one of my greatest experiences while watching the show <3
Not me trying to process my emotional trauma by projecting onto another fictional character 🙃
So anyway, Liam Sadusky is cool.
me watching the third episode of national treasure edge of history: see, this is why it’s always important to have a bard in the party
I know I haven’t posted on here in a while—I’ve been working hard on my book, which is coming out in a few days (September 12th 2023). 👻
