"I was in the neighborhood." Natasha said casually as she went and sat on his couch. Half-truths were as good as full-truths, and he could never tell with her. Or maybe he did but just didn't bother telling her about it. Why was she there? His apartment was dark and empty, cold (but not as cold as hers). She needed someone to talk to who wasn't Clint - he was out of the country, running after Bobbi and making sure she didn't get herself killed this time. There was also Steve, but Steve was too close to the problem she had, plus he had been busy being happy for once. And James... well, he was the problem. Not really in the bad sense, but she missed him. It wasn’t like before, when they put him in ice and the Red Room kept her busy with missions. How long has he been gone? How long since they last spoke? She needed a friend who would give her unbiased truths, a different perspective. Matt was just that. Or at least, she hoped he was. "How's Karen?" Karen's alright, he said, but didn't say anything more. He asked how she was, asked about the team, subtly asked about James. She told him they were all okay, alive at least, told him James was away, has been for months now. And at that he handed her a beer and sat across from her, trying to listen to her heartbeat, how she spoke. She could never really lie to Matt, so she tells him everything. From the very beginning.

I think America has become obsessed with dieting rather than focusing on eating well, exercising and living a healthy life. I also think that being ultra-thin is not sexy at all. Women shouldn’t be forced to conform to unrealistic and unhealthy body images that the media promote. I don’t need to be skinny to be sexy.
