Hi, everyone in Tumblr’s Unfiction/ARG community. I’m attempting to make an ARG website (a couple more sites later on as well) and figured that talking about it with a community would help me stay motivated and maybe help me answer some questions I’ll have while making my site. I’ll be back with updates, questions, and endorsements of my little project as we go along. Hope to bring you guys some fun insight into what the hell is gonna happen in this process (even I don’t know yet) and maybe even motivate you into making your own project!

Update

Apologies for being gone so long, college and delays have slowed progress and weakened my morale and motivation. We have made great progress, however! I am attempting to find actors for filming before we can progress, but all props have been gathered and all scripts written for section 1!

I’m having a hard time figuring out how to find actors. I need several. I've never hired someone before, and I am learning. Any advice?

Hi citizens! We are currently working on our first filmed aspect of Moribund! This has unfortunately put us a little behind schedule with blog updates, but I'll have it out very soon I swear!

90% of my oc creation falls into either of what I call the four A's: angels, androids, amalgams, and aliens. Man something about an identity tied to a concept you can only mimic yet never fully understand

Audio recordings have started! Currently finding voice actors for a 1920s male radio host with anxiety and a friendly female 1940s customer service witch. We have one audition already! Send me a Tumblr message to ask about auditioning.

This would likely be a volunteer position, as I have zero dollars and wouldn’t know how to pay you. You would receive credit on the credits page of the website, or you could remain anonymous! Whatever your comfort level is.

Fandom terms have to sound silly, like blorbo or squick, because fandom needs humbling. Not a lot. But just every so often you need a good grounding reminder that all of this is literally made up nonsense for fun.

If you take a fictional thing so seriously that silly words genuinely annoy you, you've gone too far and you need to dial it back.
