The scriptures are my armor and my shield. I feel most secure when I anchor my decisions and my thoughts to the truths I have learned through reading and studying the scriptures. What better than revelation straight from God, in a language and manner I can understand? I’m grateful for the scriptures, they are a treasure I hope I will never neglect.

Wherefore can ye doubt?

"Now behold ye know that this is true; and ye also know that an angel hath spoken unto you; wherefore can ye doubt? ..." (1 Nephi 4:3)

~Everyone at some point will come to doubt things in their lives; even things they know are true. It is okay to doubt and to ponder because it is through the doubts and pondering of Joseph Smith that we have the church today. Doubting is not wrong either, in fact, we ask people to doubt and ponder as missionaries teach people about this gospel.  It is okay to doubt things in your life but do not let your doubts get the better of you.  Heavenly Father has a plan for each of us and while it is okay to have doubts it is better to remove that bondage that traps you with worry and have faith that things will work out for your bet interest even if it may not seem like it at the time.
