I look at my sister Lama and my heart shatters every time I see her in pain, I cannot understand how such a small, innocent child has been forced to endure so much suffering.

The war took our entire family from us. Everyone is gone. The only people left are me and Lama.

We survived the bombs, but we did not escape the pain. Now I sit beside her and watch illness steal her strength, her smile, and a little more of her life with every passing minute.

I feel completely helpless. I have no way to save her except to keep begging for help and hoping that someone, somewhere, will hear our cries.

Does a child like Lama deserve to lose her life simply because she could not get the treatment she needs?

If you cannot help directly, please share our appeal. One share, one kind heart, one person who cares could make the difference between losing my sister and giving her a chance to live.

If you are White you are not allowed to pick and choose which vulnerable Black people you put your weight behind along gendered lines.

If you are a White trans person with any interest in racial politics and racial solidarity, you have to put your allyship, solidarity, and support behind the entire Black trans community. Not just one portion of it.

You do also have to be vocal about Black trans men and Black nonbinary people along side Black trans women AND you cannot only bring up Black trans women when it is convenient for you to remember someone's getting punched harder than you. Because Black trans men and Black nonbinary people ARE ALSO GETTING PUNCHED HARDER THAN YOU BECAUSE THEY ARE BLACK.

You're still White. You have to throw your weight behind the entire Black community, not just the parts of it that are situationally convenient for you. Remember that.

Could you imagine watching your own child sick, suffering, even dieing in a hospital bed--and not being able to do anything?

Maram is a 26 year old woman living in Gaza, currently caring for her destitute family, who all experienced a violent bombing attack on May 22nd by the Isreali occupation. During this attack, her middle son Ibrahim was horribly impacted and requires IMMEDIATE surgery for his injuries. As of June 2nd, Maram needs $2,000 to pay for Ibrahim's emergency surgeries, that he could possibly die without. (Donation page linked here)

Ibrahim is 7 years old. This is the age where kids start elementary school. They learn to jump rope, decide their favorite book, laugh and play in the yard. Imagine the grief and trauma instilled in that young of a mind. He is in constant pain, trapped isolated in a medical tent, facing possible death. How do you reconcile that? How do you explain that even, to someone who's life has barely begun?

Every second in this situation counts. Over the past two months, we've managed to raise over $650 for Maram's son Ziad, and their whole families well-being. I KNOW that we can do more. Maram is moving mountains for her children, but she can only do so much on her own without income. She is begging for our help. As before, with every proof of donation over $1 to Maram's campaign, I will give ANYONE a fully colored sketch commission of anything they would like. Please, even if $1 is all you can give, if you've never given before, or given 10 times; I urge you to do so now. If you can't donate, sharing this post makes all the difference !!

these get reposted a whole lot from here to reddit to twitter to tiktok and on and on, and i don't personally care whether or not i'm credited. i made these for everyone to use, enjoy, and find meaning in them. i appreciate folks who do credit me, but if able, please at least link to the threadless shop in the previous post - folks can get an official shirt where 90% of earnings go to trans led orgs focused on mental health (which is an important matter in general, but very personal to me) and not from a scam bot site selling AI-churned maga garbage where you probably won't get one anyway. i also suggest downloading the files from my ko-fi - they are free/PWYW and you can use them to make your own shirt, patch, embroidery project, whatever. tips are always nice, cuz i do like a pizza now and then, but never required for download.

final thought - breaking the pride tradition and more than likely won't make a new piece. the top one from TDOV is all i'm making this year. i have my focus on other projects currently and i don't want to force a poster design. these came from a specific head space and my current head space is Very Tired lmao so i wanna work on other things. 👍
