I'm actually so sad about rings of p*wer bc a show about the making of the rings focused on the combination of dwarf and elf culture and scholarship in Eregion and Celebrimbor and Annatar's friendship has genuinely so much potential.
They could've had Celebrimbor caught between loyalty to his friend vs Galadriel's warnings. They could've focused on Annatar grappling with his morality and his loyalties. They could've shown Narvi and Celebrimbor collaborating and creating a union of their people. They could've explored the morality of Celebrimbor always seeing the good in people and making Eregion a place where everyone was welcome regardless of their past. They could've focused on him knowing that there was something off about Annatar but refusing to listen to Galadriel because he wanted to believe that love and friendship could solve everything. They could've paralleled it with LOTR where love and friendship does infact solve everything.
But no, they had to go and do that. And they didn't even give anyone cool hair.

And Celegorm had Huan!! These two Feanorian brothers specifically had all they needed to at least make an attempt at retrieving the Silmarils and it never really occurred them to TRY.
