ok but Chidi flopping into bed next to Simone, absolutely exhausted from working himself up over the ethics of his study but not being able to sleep because he’s been agonizing over this for hours and he’s gotten nowhere and Simone rubbing his shoulders and promising him she’d talk him through it in the morning until he drifts off into an uneasy sleep? yes and their quite morning routine when no one’s having an existential crisis or adding last-minute notes to a lesson plan? waking up wrapped in each others arms and talking about their weekend plans over hard-boiled eggs and driving to campus together and kissing goodbye before heading off to their offices? yes the possibilities for soft as fork domesticity are endless and I want to see all of them
