I understand him this is devastating

after a lifetime of abuse neglect and poverty you finally gain a single ounce of agency due to being chosen by a supernatural miraculous power and all it means is (your family?) the crown locks you in a room and says you’re not one of us and you’re not allowed to have ideas or be your own person and your body belongs to us and our war and they isolate you from your friends so you can’t tell anyone what’s been going on and if you try to leave the house they will kick you in the street like a dog. In the context of him being like a CSA victim and also Daemon and Viserys’ bastard brother specifically it’s just unimaginably bleak
