Sobbing because there are never enough people with Belladolphus as OTP 😭 (I respect it though, the Bellamort metas are SO GOOD)
STOP I'M SORRY 😭😭😭
Honestly Belladolphus has been my OTP since I started roleplaying, but tumblr is slowly changing my mind. Also before I started roleplaying Bella and just read the books I was SO in love with Tom and Voldemort and had always shipped him and Bellatrix as a first.
It's the book Bellatrix in me and all the fanfics i'm reading lately too, they've got me sO TORN!!!! 😭
tumblr has made bellamort my otp now instead of belladolphus
I’ve been on a really weird HP kick the past few days (and by HP I mean Bellamort) and one of the scenes which has been ruminating in my head is when Bellatrix dies and Voldemort’s rage explodes like a bomb. Beyond the obviously visceral emotional reaction, what makes this scene so interesting is that his rage is embodied in a blast of magic. The way I’ve always interpreted this is that for a brief moment he was so enraged that he lost control of his magic. This is particularly notable for several reasons.
Magic can be volatile. Hard to control. Wizards and witches specifically use wands because it always much more control over their magic. Particularly talented wizards are able to eventually use wandless magic, although the use of a wand still seems to be preferred for various reasons.
Due to the unpredictability of magic children are often sent to a magical boarding school in order to learn and hone their power. However, as shown throughout the books because kids are kids they can be prone to magical outburst when dealing with intense emotions (eg. Harry ballooning up a relative for being a bitch).
That said, Tom Riddle Jr was observed to be particularly proficient in controlling his magic, even at a young age. He’s shown to be one of the few (only?) wizards to use wandless magic regularly as well. My point is his magical abilities were extraordinary and his embracing of those abilities only served to perfect his skills far beyond other wizards.
Yet
When Bellatrix dies his internal reaction is so great that his magic explodes outward.
There’s no other point to this ramble other than to say what a powerful moment it is in the books.
Look at Bellatrix behind him ensuring obedience and reverence.
“He's more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.”
― Emily Brontë, Wuthering Heights.
What if Voldemort gets the teaching job and becomes Bellatrix's DADA professor? - Yes I am asking because I know you've got a story on this that you refuse to publish you wicked woman.
She’s exceptionally intelligent. His very best pupil. He vies for her to become prefect. She excels under his tutelage. She’s surpassed all of her peers by the time she’s in her sixth year, so he enlists her in private tutoring. She’s besotted by him and he uses it entirely to his advantage. She thinks he’s sent from above. He’s the devil in disguise. He supposes even when she finds that out, she won’t run. He’s right. She helps him open the chamber once more, she becomes exceptional under his hand but he’s not manipulating her. Mudbloods have begun dropping like flies, they relish in the darkness of it. He has killed well over thirty mudbloods — ten in one night at the end of term feast. It is beautiful. She’s a terrifyingly wicked little creature wrapped in the most perfect package of pretty pureblood princess. They’ll be easy to win onto side if he has her, and oh, does he have her. He favours her rather openly and she laps up his praise, veneration written in her pretty grey eyes twinkling with darkness. He can not wait for her to commit atrocities in his name. The eve of her seventeenth birthday on a warm spring evening at the end of her sixth year, he has a special surprise for her. He takes her to the forbidden forrest. The moment she turns seventeen at the strike of midnight and her trace is lifted, he has her kill for him. The mudblood boy her sister has been sullying herself with. It’s blissful, hearing those words incant from her tongue so easily, so silkily, as though they’re second nature. He enjoys taking whatever was left of her innocence. Somehow she swings herself position as Head Girl in her seventh year, the same year Slughorn retires as head of Slytherin and Tom is awarded the position. Only the former position is of his influence, the offer of head of house comes as a surprise to him. It won’t last long, he won’t stay here after this year. He has amassed an army and Bellatrix is at the very forefront. She becomes darker, more skilled, excelling with dangerous speed. They spend a lot more time together and one night in the darkness of the forrest in another of her private lessons, he’s compelled to kiss her. She’s so willing, so devoted, so obedient. She likes to feel special, and he knows just how to do that. She deserves it too, she’s exceptional in all the ways he was. She’s ruthless and wicked and cruel in all the same ways as him. She wants to help him, she wants to kill for him over and over again. She has a dark soul and he likes that about her. He’s drawn to her, though not as much as she’s drawn to him. Darkness attracts darkness after all and there’s one more part to her innocence left to take. So he takes her, greedy for every part of her he can drink in. She’s entirely unashamed, she gives herself to him so willingly. It thrills him, having an affair like this. He does it over and over, knowing he’s crossed a line with her he won’t be able to uncross. She’s delectable, soft skin and sharp nails in his back at night, silky hair in his fists as she chokes on him in his office after class, stolen kisses in empty classrooms and quiet corridors. She leaves the school his very best pupil and with seven outstanding on her NEWTs. He leaves his position, but not before jinxing it. No one will have a stable teacher against his favourite of the arts after he leaves. The children who come into this school will never know how to defend themselves against him, and Bellatrix? She is well and truly his now.
OK BUT WHO WALKED IN ON THEM WHILE THEY WERE FUCKING? DID THEY DIE? 😭
Druella startles almost instantly at the sight before her. She gasps as she realises what she’s just walked in on. Her newly married daughter clutching for purchase at the edge of her father in-law’s dining table and her bare legs wrapped around a man who was most certainly not her husband. No. Worse. She’s wrapped in the arms of the Dark Lord, her head tipped back as he litters her throat in marks with his teeth, staining her perfect skin in bruises Rodolphus will no doubt see. Worse of all, they’re committing this heinously depraved act of adultery not only in the middle of the afternoon but right on the table beside her fine china given to Bellatrix on her wedding day. Her gasp is enough to startle Bellatrix too, her fingers clenched around the back of her Master’s neck immediately falling loose in some attempt to put her dress to rights. It’s too late, it’s been torn too violently. Voldemort for one stupid moment, feels like a teenage boy caught fucking his girlfriend while her parents are out. Well, that’s never happened to him before and this is worse. Much worse. Still, he is only irritated his climax was ruined. He puts himself to rights and Bellatrix struggles to find words. Druella stumbles and stutters for words, clutching to the doorframe as though she’s about to faint. Leave. It’s a simple instruction and she manages a terrified stumbling curtsey before she flees. Bellatrix attempts to leave but he drags her back. She’d been close too, so close. Well, good luck to Bellatrix to explain that to her later. What does he care for Druella Rosier’s horror? Bellatrix is his to do with as he wants and his lust of her is always more than reciprocated. Now he has a need to satisfy, and he suspects she does too.
What if Bellatrix isn't really killed and she resurects Lord Voldemort?
Molly Weasley hadn’t felt well all day. Something was in the air, something dark — but that couldn’t be, could it?
“Molly, dear,” Arthur, her husband, had said as kindly as he could earlier on, “you’re just still stressed from the war. It’s ok, it’s over. They’re gone. Voldemort is gone.”
“Don’t-" Molly flinched at the name, “please, don’t say that name.”
Arthur smiled sadly at his wife and nodded his assurance he wouldn’t say the name again, leaving Molly to tend to her herb garden. The Burrow was slowly getting there, half of it still in ruins, but Arthur had been working on it tirelessly.
Wiping the sweat from her brow, Molly turned her attention to the sky where dark clouds began to roll in. A storm was coming, a heavy, dangerous storm.
Slowly she gathered her gardening tools and stood, old knees aching as she pushed herself from the ground. A sudden breeze touched the back of her neck and spent a chill down her spine. Molly turned and almost collapsed, behind her stood Bellatrix Lestrange in the flesh.
“Hello Molly.” Bellatrix greeted calmly, though her gaze was as dangerous as a tiger stalking a gazelle.
Molly fumbled fast for her wand but Bellatrix was too quick, she dissarmed her entirely too fast.
“W—what— what is this??” her voice shook with fear as the thin, tall figure of the dark witch slowly came closer. Bellatrix’s head tilt only slightly, long, black hair billowing in the heaviness of the wind that was suddenly hitting Molly so hard she was shivering — either that or her fear was taking control of her body. Bellatrix Lestrange was shining with vibrance as dark as the most vengeful of storms, her hair, thick, black and full of life, her skin, pearly white, renewed and smooth, her lips full but her eyes eyes— she was a woman beyond gone. Molly protested with a wild scream as Bellatrix snatched a hand forward and took hold of the older witch, disapparating without a noise.
—
An echo of a scream suddenly drew Arthur from his slumber. It was almost dark and Molly wasn’t in? Where was she? It was pouring rain outside, there was no chance she was still out there — yet something had woken him, and the feeling still remained.
Something wasn’t right.
“Harry—“
The echo of apparition into the small house was immediate. Harry Potter, exhausted from only having finished the war three months ago, stood in the doorway.
“My scar—“
It was all he needed to say for their worst fears to be confirmed. Immediately, what was left of the Weasley family, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Neville Longbottom, Minerva Mcgonagle, Horace Slughorn, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Rubeus Hagrid — everyone that was left of the Order of the Phoenix, were summoned to the Weasley home.
“Molly’s gone — something isn’t right,” Arthur began, “Harry said—"
“My scar—" Harry repeated panic striking his voice, “my scar began to hurt again a few days ago but… I didn’t think anything of it, but today it was almost unbearable and I know I just know he’s—"
“Harry, please that isn’t possible.” Kingsley interjected calmly, “his corpse is buried in an unmarked grave only three people know of.” “Including mum.” Ron snapped from beside Hermione who looked as concerned as everyone else. Kingsley finally nodded his assent, “we should split up—" “And start where??” Harry asked a little too harshly. “We’ll find her.” Minerva said definitively, “We’ve done this before, we can do it again.”
—
“Think you’d kill me, did you Prewett?” Bellatrix Lestrange crooned as she slammed Molly Weasley’s small, plump frame against a nearby tree.
“No, no no, this is a bad dream— please wake up—" Molly begged herself, groaning in pain from the torture she’d been inflicted under, squeezing her eyes shut. But every time she opened them, the tall, thin witch was still before her.
“Aww poor thing, look how 𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅 you are.” Bellatrix crooned sarcastically, pouting her lower lip.
Molly looked up at the tall witch just in time to receive a hard slam to her face with the back of Bellatrix’s hand. She hit and attacked harder than any woman she’d ever met, no wonder they had called her the most dangerous witch alive.
“What do you want with me?!” Molly screamed at the witch, blood pooling in her mouth from the force of the repeated blows, “if you’re going to kill me get it over with!”
“Yes, your life will do but not yet.” Bellatrix answered carelessly, “you tried to take everything from me. A blood pact, wasn't it? It would've worked, I admit, but my magic is darker and stronger than yours could ever hope to be. I taunted you, I know, but we mother's would do anything for our children, wouldn't we?" We mothers. Her gaze shot up in terror but before she could utter a word, the suddenness of a cool, sharp blade pressed to Molly’s neck.
—
“Did you really think, Harry Potter, that you would win?” The sultry croon Bellatrix Lestrange’s voice woke him slowly. “He 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓.”
He was still immobilised and stunned, unable to make any use of his limbs, his wand snapped, his body useless, stuck in his mind watching and listening with rapt horror.
“I can 𝒕𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆 your fear, Harry Potter.” Bellatrix’s said. She leant slowly to him, sharp talon like nails atop strong digits sudden in grabbing at his face, digging into the soft flesh as her tongue reached out to drag slowly across his lower lip where his blood had split.
“His soul is strong Master.” Bellatrix murmured as she let go of Harry, who was unable to spit onto the floor in disgust. She was sudden in grasping his hair, bringing tears to his eyes from the force by which she held onto him. “He will do.”
However they were communicating — if they were — or if it was merely her deluded mind, Harry didn’t know, he didn’t care. He tried to scream but the choke force of her magic had rendered him useless.
“This time will be done right.” Bellatrix said as she withdrew a dagger from her sheath around her slim hips. Harry’s gaze fell onto where Bellatrix was walking towards, a huge cauldron. This was the graveyard with Cedric all over again.
She lit the fire beneath it with little more than a simple flick of her fingers, the water immediately began boiling and bubbling. Suddenly, Bellatrix thrust Harry forward and pushed his head over the edge of the cauldron. He struggled uselessly against heavy limbs, “this won’t work! He was defeated before and he will be defeated aga—“
Bellatrix ignored him as she began stringing a series of words Harry didn’t recognise together, clearly casting an incantation. It went on forever Harry thought, though she was beginning to wear out after long. Eventually, she had stopped, but now she was doing something else. Without so much as a hesitation, Bellatrix pointed her wand at Harry, her final words simple and clear, a mockery Lord Voldemort had sneered out of sheer disgust towards the boy, “Goodbye Harry Potter, the boy who lived.”
Then, Harry Potter was no more. Bellatrix grasped carefully at the soul and sank into the potion boiling within the cauldron. For a long moment, nothing happened, until Bellatrix felt the most agonising pain she had ever felt, as if her entire being was on fire. Her flesh bubbled and burned and tore from her bones, peeling back until she was sure she was screaming, the hissing and searing she heard in her ears dragging her under the surface of the water.
—
“Bella. . .” She woke with a start, her hair drenched and stuck down to her back, her clothes stuck to her skin. Her eyes were blurred but soon came into focus in the dimly lit room. Then they came into focus on him. A spectre in the night, not nearly as monstrous as he had been but still wraithlike and tall. Scarlet eyes shone and a clinging shroud of a cloak made of smoke had clung to his form. Dulcet tones met his ears and her fingers trailing his jaw and his chest, touching every part of him she had so missed these last few months of being without him, able only to utter one word, “Master.” Lord Voldemort had risen again.
Send me ‘What If’ scenarios for my muse to answer.
Watch me turn your mind in to my home.
Lucius: Belief can be powerful. I had a sty once, and every night I would close my eyes and think about it getting smaller and smaller until it went away!
Bellatrix: [leans against the wall with her eyes closed]
Regulus: Bella, what's wrong?
Bellatrix: Nothing. I'm just trying to make Lucius go away.
His magic knows no bounds, his power is unlike any others.

He was not ugly and in no way was he disfigured, but he’d begun wearing a hood by then, perhaps he was that well-known and feared.
Sirius & Bellatrix similarities and headcanons please? 👀
Ahh, my two favourite blacks, here you go. . .
◜ ۞ ◞ they have the same eyes, same laugh, same charming smile, same haughty look. They’re each other’s mirror.
◜ ۞ ◞ when they’re young they’re inseparable. Sirius is always hanging onto Bellatrix’s hand and irritating her, but he loves her, merlin he really, really loves her. They’re only three years apart - she the elder - but he looks up to her so much.
◜ ۞ ◞ as children they often share a bed, in fact they still keep sneaking into each other’s beds until they’re 13 and 16. Despite their differences and Bella’s disappointments in him, they do love each other.
◜ ۞ ◞ They grew up around wolves and serpents, they don’t trust, that’s not in their nature. Bellatrix and Sirius are two of the most distrusting people alive. That’s why neither of them trust Snape.
◜ ۞ ◞ their Azkaban numbers are 93 (Bellatrix) and 39 (Sirius). Doesn’t that speak for itself?
◜ ۞ ◞ they share a lot of the same character traits. They’re pretty much the same personality encapsulated separate individuals.
