Take a look at my new best friend. We got this Breville Juicer a couple weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. I have been replacing my breakfasts with water, tea, juice and fruit.
So, itās been a while becauseā¦
Duh, this happened.
Okay, even though I sooo don't want to shit knives...
I really wish I was going into labor now.
36 weeks appointment
Sorry about not posting for a couple days. I had my baby shower and was also rushing to write these papers. Anyway, today at 10:00 I have my 36 weeks appointment. I will update you all later with how it goes.

DS enjoyed some left overs today. He had Agadashi tofu and I also heated up some Trader Joe's edamame and cut up some sweet baby peppers. He ate a ton of this.
Food!
So yesterday DS and I went out with my parents for sushi and it was delicious as usual. He loves to eat Agadashi Tofu, edamame, vegetable tempura, miso soup and cucumber salad.
Oh and this morning Daddy made French toast! Yum
Here.
Lame parenting:
The people who live above me play Gangam Style to get their baby to calm down. Like...wtf?!? The literally play it at least 3x a day. Ugh. *Sorry I'm not sorry...
One of DS's favorite snacks. Pomegranate!
Oh my gosh that was good. Sometimes a grilled cheese just hits the spot.
For lunch, DS and I had grilled cheese with tomato soup ādipā.
I made our grilled cheese sandwiches with buttered 12 Grain Bohemian Earth bread and Oaxacan string cheese from Mi Pueblo.
The tomato soup dip was really easy to make. I just experimented and threw half of a tomato, 1/3 can of diced Italian tomatoes, a table spoon of butter and a splash of milk in a pot a brought it to a slight boil. Once it was all heated, I poured it into our magic bullet. Then I added salt, pepper and garlic and blended it until smooth.
It turned out super delicious. DS kept saying āMmm. Mmm.ā Haha. Success.
And this was meant for this blog.
Oh man...
So I am literally on the verge of punching someone in the face. I am extrememly uncomfortable and irritable. Every noise my fiancĆ© makes is driving me insane. Haha. Ugh. I feel bad that I feel this way, but Iām sure itās just my raging hormones and the fact that I am so close to the end of this pregnancy.
I can't wait until the baby shower on Sunday. My mom and sister pretty much went all out on this one. This will be only the second tea party I've ever been to. Such a cute idea. I really love the idea of having parties like this, but most people these days would rather go out for drinks or do something with more excitement involved. Boo. I like old fashioned style get-togethers. Anyone else?
This morning we had scrambled eggs and Banana Pancake Muffins. I found this very simple recipe on Pinterest, which led me to a blog called Smart & Sassy Mom ( http://www.smartnsassymom.com ). This recipe calls for a cup of Bisquick (just add water), 2/3 cup water, 2/3 cup syrup and quartered banana slices. However, I used whole grain Bisquick and 1/2 cup of grade A Organic Maple Syrup from Trader Joe's. 2/3 cup of regular syrup seems like way too much unnecessary sugar, especially for children. To make them, you simply combine all the ingredients together and spoon into a muffin tin. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then bake them for 15-20 minutes. I would definitely make these again. They were super simple and yummy. DS loved them, but one was enough. The only difference I might make for the next batch is smashing the bananas instead of quartering slices. It's really your preference, but I'd prefer the bananas to be completely combined in the batter, rather than sitting in the middle in chunks. Well, I hope everyone had a good morning. Love to all and happy mommying. :)
Saw this adorable cake on instagram. Is it too early to be planning my unborn daughter's 1st birthday?!?
Here is a mini Ross haul. Bought these items on the same day as the Target ones. I love how Ross always has some good finds, such as those swaddle blankets. Normally they are super expensive and I got them for $7.99. Also both packets of socks were no more than $2.99 each.
