Woah fursona alert?!

I don’t know how to draw furries(yet) but my partner and my friend both agreed that I would be a stoat, and stoats are pretty freaking cute. So here’s my attempt at my first fursona!!!

School is finally finished… now what? I guess I’ll draw a bit.

I feel as though a weight has been lifted from my shoulders, and what do you know, the motivation to create is back. I know I make a lot of posts saying I’ll come back but I feel like this might be it. There are so many things that I want to create and I feel like an artist again.

!!!!gMOD MAP ALLERRTT!!!1

I don't like to post about WIP stuff but I wanna yap about this thing I've been working on :p

I've been making a sandbox map for a little while now with the main focus being NPC interaction and navigation. It's kinda just like playing with army guys again and making them fight, but now I'm 18 and making computers fight each other in a sandbox and lemme tell you… it's fun as heck home dawg.

I found a mod that turns off pixel filtering and I'm in love. I love those crisp textures, so tasty😋😋. I should really be trying to learn how to actually 3D model and make my own game… but it's just so dang easy to make gmod maps.

Starbound is a pretty cool game

I've been playing this game since I saw my older brother playing it in 2016, and I think it has to be my favorite game of all time.

This game is the reason I was so obsessed with space when I was younger and I still love it. There's something about exploring the galaxy and being lost in the stars, that's so cool to me. You can dig up fossils and piece them together, make towering sci-fi colonies with NPCs, or be a humanoid cowboy made out of stardust, and that's pretty cool yo! The species you can choose to be are really cool too, like you can be a plant person??? Ummm hell yea?? I love that the game has a consistent color palette in all the sprites and reuses colors a ton. That makes my brain very happy.

I must admit that I play with lots of mods now to keep the game fresh. There are a lot of rough parts with the game and luckily mods fix a lot of the issues I have. I just found out about a thing called "OpenStarbound" and I've been replaying the game again. I wanted to yap about it because I love it :P

I really want to make some fanart for the game... One day trust

I found out u can mess with photoshop's web export and get a pattern dithering effect! It's pretty fun to mess around with and mess with the settings until I find something I like.

I really love the Skyrim mask, I never played enough to find many (I think I found one?) but they always looked super cool and eerie to me. It always kinda looked like the old Minecraft Inventory helmet slot.

It's not super similar, but the eyes reminded me of it. Why aren't there masks in Minecraft? If I ever make a mod I'd probably make it a thing :p

Cryptical in the flesh (or paper?)

I printed out the cards in class and took a few photos, here are my favorite ones. I'd love to take some nicer photos and make some scenes or make my friends pose with them or something.

What's your favorite card? Personally, I really love the skeleton and the ghost.

Demon

Tricksters and manipulators. Locals of Hell sent to the Overworld in disguises, hiding their true intentions. Stay alert and watch your surroundings, you can't be fooled if you are prepared. These malicious spirits cause havoc and chaos anywhere they tread. It's said that forbidden rituals can be held to summon such angry creatures, yet divine punishment will result.

Kelpie

Bringing tricks and misguides from the seas and kelp. The Kelpie is a Scottish folklore that brings light to the dangers of uneasy waters. These creatures are half fish and half horse that are said to live in any body of water. They can appear as friendly and entice you to mount them, however this is a fatal mistake. Once on, you're stuck to the beast as they pull to the depths of the waters.

Skeleton

Physically dead by spiritually still moving. Similar to zombies, these were once human but were reanimated but with magic. Any muscle that held the body together has rotted long ago, but sorcery holds their body together. Skeletons have always represented death, but could magic be the true answer?

Wendigo

Starved of necessity. These beasts were once humans, but dew to the lack of sustenance, a regretful action was required for survival. Famine struck, leaving them no choice but to consume their own.  Once the flesh was consumed they were turned into beasts of horror. Almost appearing as a mix of man and dear, these creatures are not a friendly sight.

Werewolf

Your transformation will be beautiful. Monster and man sharing the same body. What at first glance might be any ordinary person could be a werewolf. This secret will not reveal itself unless they see the glow of the full moon. When the full moon rises, one will transform into a canine beast with ferocious strength.

Pumpkin Head

Not quite your average person. These humanoids can be seen from many media across many years. They were first popularized when scarecrows were made, but had a striking, uncanny feeling associated. From a distance they look very human until a closer inspection. These spirits take the form of human creations and bear the head of a seasonal gourd.

Jackalope

Swift and nimble fauna said to be true, but proven by none. Many say that by spotting the hare with antelope horns, you will have good fortune. There have been countless people claiming to full-heartedly seeing this mythical animal in Western America. Many recreations of what the animal hypothetically looks like result in many uncanny taxidermy hares.

Hand of Glory

The legendary object that holds the power to give thieves high advantages. This item is an old hand with wicks in the tips of the fingers. It is said that one who wields the Hand of Glory can freeze anyone who opposes them when in the act of breaking into a home and stealing. It's a real artifact that can be seen in museums but its affiliated power is only stories.

Frankenstein

Were you ever the monster? Or the victim of man. Frankenstein comes from a very old story which has been retold countless times since. This creature is an artificial man, created and sewn together with the parts of many people. The tale goes people were immediately hostile to Mr. Frankenstein with just the thought of his being. The truth is he meant no harm and has a kind soul.

Vampire

Undead among man, blending in and harvesting. Vampires have been a common fear for centuries and are extremely popular in modern day. These technically dead humans have the potential to live forever at a horrifying cost. They must drink the blood of living humans or else it will spell their death. Myths say the can transform in bats and some even say they have the skin of a killer…

Ghost

Business remains unfinished and so does their search. When a person passes from this world unsatisfied with their ending, the body may rest while their spirit hasn't. The soul of this person may not rest until the business they carried into the next world is finished. Ghosts are most commonly depicted as wisp like and transparent.

Kraken

From the depths of the grand unknown, a grand creature stalks. The legendary beast named the Kraken is a large squid which has had mythical tales told for generations. Sailors tell tales of the beast that can dismantle large vessels with ease. It's possible that the Kraken may be very real, however greatly exaggerated. This sea leviathan may most likely be the giant squid, which has many similarities to the Kraken.
