You have set me on a quest no mortal should ever undergo. You have tasked me with the creation of hubris made manifest upon this mortal plane, of utter chaos and raw emotion distilled into but a page or two of script.

I have toiled for weeks upon this effigy to madness, and for what? For my pride? For my inability to turn down a challenge issued to me? For my responsibility as arbiter of a piece of a distant future?

On all counts, correct. This quest, one I never should have began, has simply entangled me with the siren's song of a perfect ending, the yen (archaic definition) of, at long last, a finished product, one to be used well, by a worthy wielder. I am trapped within the shackles of my own mind, and shall not be freed until I complete this task.

This is not rocket science. This is not the slaying of a dragon. This is not mapping an ever-shifting manor betwixt a stand of pine trees. This is worse. This is attempting to describe, in full, the endless abyss of the ocean's depths in naught but a word. This is capturing the instant a volcano erupts in a conflagration of ash and pumice in an oil painting as you stand before the caldera. This is a duel atop the railings of the highest balcony of the Eiffel Tower, as the onlookers attempt to ensure you fall from the precipice to your death. This is pinning down a moth sans a body, only two wings fluttering about your room - as you pin one, the other escapes. I am affixed to this horrible creation, unable to part with its vile corpse, cursed to never truly be able to complete it as I wish.

Anyway the warlock subclass I'm trying to make for you is actually proving to be quite difficult and this is my complaint (ill still get it done)
