In the end I made these Dia De Los Muertos and Wilder Mann inspired skulls for my art show at work. I’m happy with how they turned out! They are made from paper mache with yarn and paper decorations

Looking through my stuff at home...my beautiful 1960s pink typewriter #typewriter #vintage #pink #ABC #1960s
Some PomPom cats I made for my coworkers for Christmas! They’ve all gone to their new homes now, I miss them already!
It’s been a while! Finally I have something to show you. Say hi to Square Bear!
My first own design and pattern :)
I’ve been working on him on and off for a couple of months and finally finished him on my week off. To motivate myself, I’ve signed up to exhibit some of my knitting at work in February and I plan on knitting at least another 4 critters so I should be a bit more active here in future!
Hey guys, I'm not gone, I've moved to Portland, Oregon and started a new job. It's all a bit crazy at the moment. Will hopefully be able to start knitting again when things settle down!
Sorry I've been fairly quiet over the last few weeks, a lot of exciting but stressful things have been happening so I haven't had time to knit! People still have birthday's though, so here's the latest card!
Card I made for some friends who are getting married this weekend!
I decided to try my hand at Amigurumi and thought a mini Charlotte would be easy enough to practise on. Most of the time I had no idea what I was doing and just watched loads of youtube videos and made it up as I went along. Sometimes thats the best way to learn though.
She goes with my Grief Seed keyring!
Cleaned up a sketch in between everything else.
EDIT: I usually don’t forget to add these things, but the sweater was based off the cool tiny sweater Mottenhimmel knitted! Their blog is really nice so if you like knitting go check it out!
So cute! <3
I had to.
Birthday cards I drew for friends this weekend.
Last night I saw Neil Gaiman read at the Barbican (amazing!). Guess what I started knitting today!
There is also another reason I started knitting these, but I can't go into that just yet...
So it's been a long time coming, but finally finished knitting Kyubey! Knit on 2.00 mm needles in bamboo yarn, my own pattern and he's pretty much life sized. I wired his ears and tail so he's slightly poseable.
Now he sits on my shelf and creeps me out...
Bit of progress for this week, it's coming along slowly!
For some reason I decided doing intarsia (for the first time!) in the round was going to be a good idea... it cost me a lot of nerves yesterday but I'm quite happy with the result.
Here's a sneaky WIP of my next toy I'm working on. I'm quite excited about this but it's slow progress and I haven't had much time to work on it yet. Maybe you can guess what I'm making?
And why is it when you decide to commit to a long project you think of a million other things you want to make??
Knitters must be the only people who appreciate rainy summer weekends.
