reading: i am currently listening to lukas gage's memoir on audiobook, lol. i had to work through it slowly at first because his teenage experiences reminded me a lot of my own, especially wilderness therapy. so that was a bit hard to read. where i'm at in the book now, he's an adult in hollywood doing crazy hollywood things. so that's a bit more fun. i'm quite enjoying it and laughing out loud at innoportune moments. and getting frequent secondhand embarrassment.
bruh... the league. i was visiting my friend in utah and it was the only thing we could both agree upon to watch. he doesn't like my taste in TV and i don't like his so we settled on a lowbrow comedy about fantasy football that requires very little attention to enjoy. which i have enjoyed watching in spite of myself.
said friend and i in utah watched about a third of trainspotting on my iphone on a piracy site in my new van that i spent all my money on and then ended up hooking up before we could finish the movie. i'm making really great life choices, you see. the last film i watched before that was also trainspotting. by myself.
the last DJ by tom petty has been stuck in my head all day so let's go with that one. i've also been obsessively listening to holy fvck by demi lovato (the whole album).
sweet or salty: because of my interstitial cystitis, i can't eat or drink anything sweet. i make up for it by copiously salting my sweet potato fries. in theory though i have a huge sweet tooth and i miss sugar so bad.
coffee or tea: can't have either due to IC but if i could i would be drinking arizona right now. coffee tastes great but has always made me sick.
working on: my health. in a few days i'll be flying to alabama to visit an IC specialist and visit relatives. after that i go see an allergist. i'm back in therapy for the first time in many years because this year has been such a low point for me physical-health wise that it nuked my mental health as well. besides that i'm working on saving enough simoleons to build the community center in the sims free play.
and hopefully, my actual job will start soon. it was supposed to start in november but the building is still under construction.
