Remember when Hank Green talked about his sexuality on EB? Remember when Anna Ankana talked about her sister’s suicide on EB? Remember when Olga Kay remembered her mom and cried on EB? Remember when John Green talked about his days at the Children’s hospital on EB? Remember when Rhett and Link told us about their teenage girlfriends? Remember when they laughed at their old demos with us? Remember when they talked about Lily’s surgery? Remember how EB was known to be so deep and candid and intimate that Grace Helbig named her podcast “Not Too Deep” just as a friendly jab towards the guys, saying it was the opposite of EB? Remember when Hank Green said that the round table will some day be in a museum because it will be a part of history, with signatures of the pioneers of an era? 

Oh! And remember when Lizzie and Ellie sat on that very table, as if they belonged there, and talked about celebrity gossip, and made this deep funny insightful wonderful podcast into something so frivolous and stupid and annoying that I’m starting to question my respect for Rhett and Link? 

THAT my dear anon, is my “fucking problem” with the crew.

@summer-mclaughlin I am not sure exactly what your anon said, but if they don’t see the freaking problem, then I can not help them. 

What I can say is freaking preach it and dance through a ring of fire with this fucking answer. R/hett and L/ink have put all their blood, sweat and tears into that table, making it something to be proud of. When you listened to an EB you expected to laugh, cry and hear some extraordinary things. It was a candid conversation for adults. We got to see another side of RandL and it made us all happy. Now, I am fine with the crew doing their thing and having a crew biscuits. 

*Let me say again for the woefully ignorant. I am fine with crew having their own content.*

It is when they usurp the label that RandL uses for their content and pretend they are the boys. I have a problem when crew content replaces RandL content. A name was built up with RandL and now RandL is gone and crew are in their place. It feels icky. Really freaking icky. They are not the boys, they will never be anywhere near as smart, talented or entertaining. I feel duped into clicking on this click bait. I expected to see something of our boys and instead saw crew. Then I went back and realized that crew biscuits was now synonymous with ear biscuits. I feel tricked.

After all that is Mythical Entertainment and they're going to make content that might not be about Rhett and Link, but don't ruin the reputation of what RandL built from zero, not everything has to have a 'crew' version

Link’s all giggling, and snorting, and Rhett’s chuckling behind the camera, “such a dork…” and you can hear the smile in his voice. he’s still filming when Link stops laughing, a lazy smile on his face. “Rheeett, come lay back down with me,” he whines, lifting his arms to give grabby hands towards Rhett. the video ends.

I need to take a second to talk about Link dancing, because even though he’s untrained he’s fucking wonderful at it.

Something about his body gives him this natural talent for dancing. He’s tall, well-proportioned, has sinful shoulders, a round butt, and hips that seem to move on their own accord. He can make sharp motions to define his movements yet can also writhe with such fluidity and mischievous grace.  Link’s flirty and flexible and loves to show off, so whenever he’s prompted to dance (Which is gloriously often) he doesn’t hold back, no matter his audience.

Compared to Rhett (Who’s an adorable lanky bean, don’t get me wrong), Link is just so freaking smooth!! - he knows exactly how to dance with his whole body and draw attention to the best parts of him. And this is only what we’ve seen on camera… Can you imagine how Link’s hips sway when it’s just him and Rhett the object of his desire?

All I’m saying is that if he took some proper dancing/hip hop lessons on top of his natural talent and sex appeal, Link has the potential to kill us all.

If you remove the middle GIF, it looks like they're a couple who got in an argument and Rhett has completely forgotten about it and is talking to Link and making jokes, but Link is trying to act sad, but can't not smile at Rhett's jokes so he just kept his head down to not seem like he is okay with Rhett. (I mean it could be about friends also, but I want it to be about couples...)

I love the stages of Rhink in this In the first GIF Rhett is just feeling weird while Link is 'petting' him, but then he starts giving in and leaning towards Link, after that he looks aggressive and kinda angry because Link is not letting him get any closer, but then Link gets Rhett and surprises him, and ooooooh that smile on Rhett's face so cute!!
