This is a safe blog for all system types and origins.

Syscourse (outside of the above) will be kept to our syscourse sideblog. Some older posts on this blog from years ago are syscoursey, but we don't post or reblog things like that here anymore.

That being said, syscoursers and people who disagree with the above stance can interact with us, though if it’s syscourse-related we will use our alt to keep it off this blog. You’re free to DM if you wish. Don’t be an ass and we’ll get along fine.

We don't post in here super often these days, primarily using a sideblog that we're keeping separate from this blog. Might pick it all back up again soon but we want to focus more on system-related things here going forward.

Ixia - Current Main Host, she/her. Fluffy snek girl, proper image still in the works (has been for years, motivation to draw has been a struggle)

Kalere - Secondary Main Host, they/them or he/him. Brooding and stern, yet soft, red-head

Umbra - Co-Host, she/her. Goth-aesthetic deer-girl though she doesn’t always wear it.

Lux - Co-Host, they/them. Soft cinnamon roll.

Petra - Co-Host, ne/nym/nyr. Calm and collected, but enjoys a good laugh.

My fusion happened rather suddenly, recently. We knew it was a possible one but the brain didn't seem like it was pushing for it, or any of the other fusions that are waiting in the background. It just, kinda happened.

It's not bad, by any means, I'm okay with this new me... But I don't think either of my parts were expecting it to happen when it did.

I'm settling into myself fairly okay so far, some things I'm used to, others not so much. I still have some of the same issues when I front as one of my parts did. But I feel more whole, more stable. This is definitely a step forward, and I'm going to embrace that.

It's okay if you can't hear your alters

Inner communication is difficult. We certainly don't do it much, either. But that doesn't mean that they aren't there.

I always see it as them sleeping.

There's nothing wrong with communicating via notes or texts! It does make it take a bit longer, but I think it's worth it to talk to your head buddies

Your system isn't broken or wrong because you lack internal communication. That's completely normal and fine, and happens a lot for other systems too.

Thank god soulmates (one person destined for you that you will never be happy without) aren't real but soulmates (people you understand and connect with on a special level, multiple, some of which you havent met yet) are real

a bunch of random things life has taught me in no particular order:

happy moments should be cherished, not over-thought

people will come and go no matter how long you wait for them or how badly you want them to stay

making new friends opens up whole new worlds

apologies can make all the difference

random acts of kindness can change someone’s day from bad to bearable

the only person you’re stuck with is you so learn to love, forgive, and accept yourself

sometimes the worst people for us are the ones we think are the best

it’s not selfish to be personally hurt by something and anyone who tells you otherwise probably feels guilty themselves

the world can feel ugly at times, but don’t overlook the beautiful things or they may just not be there one day

tell people you love that you love them even if you think it’s implied

don’t betray your friends

being yourself takes time since change happens often, so it’s okay to not know who you are at any given time

never give up on your dreams or you’ll regret all the things you could’ve done

don’t ever lose yourself in the name of love

trust yourself

life has its highs and lows, so be prepared for how low the lows can be

do things spontaneously— just for the fun of it

better to regret than to wonder “what if” forever

always make sure people know you’re there for them

there’s never a perfect time, and if you wait too long, you lose your chance

everyone has shit going on in their lives, so be kind to people

always be thankful for the people who have stuck around

don’t waste time beating yourself up over things you can’t change

if you’re trying to decide between holding on and letting go, it’s probably time to let go
