I LOVE THIS GUY.
All those "spend just 35 minutes doing a bunch of really hard exercises and you'll feel great forever!" videos are really discouraging. I usually end up doing like, 2 minutes of some of his while waiting for my shower to heat up, and ykw?
That's 2 minutes more than I would have done otherwise.
oh hey I have a thing like that last one that I like to do sometimes, but I do it lying down in bed. it's a very satisfying pop/shift in my hips/lower back, but doesn't always work. maybe I will try his version and see if it is more effective for me
open a new window somewhere in the world.
i love this because it’s such a simple concept but it answers things i didn’t even know how to ask
Looking out of people’s windows is such a peaceful way of travelling… I got a snowfall in Argentina, a nice sea view in Ukraine, a clothes line in the fog in Bangalore. Antonella from Tavernaro, I like your wooden bird.
nobody talk to me nobody touch me i live here now. this is my new favorite thing.
"you visit often" youre damn right i do... (grabs ezgifs ass possessively and growls)
The throuples in sense8 are so fucking funny like what do you mean "two gay men and their fujoshi" and "your regular 'straight" indian couple and their german mobster boyfriend" are both 100% canon

Y'all for real please do these. Even if you're certain your posture doesn't suck. One day you will wake up with impinged shoulder pain like I did and let me tell you it fucking HURTS. Do these exercises even just once a week and it will make such a difference. Especially my fellow creatives out there, stop shrimping over your work and go do these right now. RIGHT NOW.

I’m kinda surprised that nalbinding isn’t as popular as crochet and knitting tbh because it has an even lower barrier of entry tools wise and unlike crochet and knitting it makes fabric that you can cut.
I guess it’s because it’s slower or something.
Nalbinding aka needle binding is when you use yarn and a big sewing needle to make fabric btw
It also has a lot of different kinds of stitches you can do that make different densities of fabric.
Some people even make rugs.
I feel like part of it might be casual people are generally aware of the existence of crochet and knitting, even if they don’t know very much about either, but have never heard of nalbinding
Yeah I hadn’t heard of it until recently and I ordered a big bone needle for myself to try it out and that should be arriving soon.
I was surprised that I’d never heard of it though. It’s older than knitting and crocheting and even though it’s been done all over the world it’s super relevant to Nordic culture and my grandmother and I are both into keeping in touch with our roots a bit so I’m surprised I’ve never heard of it.
It seems like the sort of thing that would be popular even if not as popular as crocheting and knitting, considering the low barrier of entry.
You also don’t need a bunch of different sized needles for nalbinding or whatever. The size of the stitch is controlled either completely freehand or by pulling it against one of your fingers. Most people who have a lot of nalbinding needles seem to either have tried out wood, bone, and metal ones to see which kind they liked or they enjoy carving wood or bone and like making their own needles as an extra hobby.
It’s also a lot easier to freehand and adjust as you go than crochet or knitting and you mostly go by inches instead of rows and number of stitches so a large number of accessories like stitch markers or whatever isn’t really necessary.
Maybe the lack of accessories also makes it unpopular idk. People do like collecting things in their nests.
I've been wanting to do so, I cannot find anyone who can teach me, and any books I can find on it are Ass in the Visual Learning department. Otherwise I'd be making the hell outta some nalbinded fabric
I found this channel by a nice man who makes up close tutorials
I create videos on YouTube to learn people how to needlebind using two fingers and your thumb. Needlebinding helps people to relax, relieve
I thought this would be kind of a niche post to make but I was quickly reminded that I’m on tumblr, the website full of gay people with one billion hobbies.
How do you like my ultra flat cookies (on purpose)
1 cup melted butter 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup white sugar 1 egg and I THINK 2 cups flour but I kinda just eyeballed how much flour I poured in. Nothing else no baking powders, I chilled it then baked at 350f for 11 minutes
I tried this again with 2 cups of flour and that made an ALL WRONG paler puffier cookie
So the good, oozing batch was probably only one cup of flour. 1 cup of everything and 1 egg
you'll be hanging out with the sweetest person ever and they'll randomly tell you a childhood experience that would have vaporised you and you're like oh we should find your parents and murder them irl
Grace mentioning to Rocky that he used to watch his ship every evening after they parted ways (and do complex math to figure out when he's going to lose sight of it completely). Grace is. a little bit embarrassed about the whole thing.
Rocky is ecstatic.
"Grace watched Rocky sleep, question? Even though we were apart??"
"...yeah. Yeah, pal, I guess I did."
the mighty nein battle plan is actually so good to be honest. they get shit on for being unable to follow plans but it's only short term plans they're bad at. battle plans? oh they have lived and learned. the clerics got attacked when they were wandering off alone in a jungle so they make it a point to always split the clerics. even while travelling, jester-eagle isn't allowed to carry caduceus. never put beau and yasha on the same target unless there's only one enemy to make full use of their sentinel and reactions. split caleb and fjord apart so one is within reach to make a counterspell. have beau go first so veth can have sneak attack. the two wizards casting haste on allies and the clerics casting bless to give support. fjord and veth moving in to tank on the frontlines when it gets rough. the fact that fjord learned cure wounds despite his limited spell list even though he already has healing hands as a paladin. that makes the nein having 4 (the clerics, yasha, fjord) members who can restore health. 3 people (clerics and caleb) who can revive the dead. when beau went unconscious against the specter in rumblecusp, fjord and yasha were able to heal her and bring her back up even before it became the two clerics' turns. they said fuck you we're not losing anyone ever again.
The mighty Nein experience
love watching c2 and whenever the nein don't know something, there's always a pattern that follows. first, they turn to the nerds (caleb and beau) and ask if they know it. then the nerds look at each other and wrack their heads to see if they do. if on the odd the chance they don't, the nerds make a trip to the nearest library and plan to barricade themselves in until they fill that gap in their knowledge. then they turn to the clerics (jester and cad) who then ask their gods. one talks to the wind and the other talks to a weasel. the guy talking to the wind is more successful at times. then they spend five more hours planning until fjord just decides to slam the red button. cinema.
Amena, a second-year student at PSUMNT trying to get into the highly competitive Perihelion workstudy program: Sooooooo, any chance family of crewmembers get preferential placement? Yeah, the Perihelion's security consultant is my. Uh.
Amena, realising she doesn't want to try to explain Secunit to the Dean of Students: The security consultant is my Third Mom.
