Hey guys!!!! Great news, my old Tumblr account was finally REINSTATED!!! It's back!!!! I'm so happy I can start posting to my old blog now. I'm gonna be doing some updating work over there to fix things up a bit, so I'm not ready to move back there just yet, but I will give another update post when I'm done!!

Hi hi!! My biggest apologies, it took me a while because I got QUITE inspired by this question :') Doodles ideas kept coming - in such a way that I'm keeping some for a future post; so for that, thank you so much for your ask! ♥ Absolutely not yelling at you it was so so fun to brainstorm on!

That's a very good question and to that I'll say yes, absolutely; beyond their diverging opinions there are things they respectively don't vibe with; but they'll always try to find some form of common ground to please their partner. To sum it up; Claryce will usually dislike events that will require getting out of her comfort zone - while Bob will be sticking to events and tendencies that steer away from his rather... old-school tastes.

Bob > Claryce

While Bob is generally supportive of Claryce's hobbies, he never really understood the thrill of video games (except for games that deeply relies on the narrative, or games in which you can customize characters so you can torture them... No need to tell you why). He'll sometimes find Clara's enthusiasm a bit too far fetched, thinking she sometimes loses her best judgement when it comes to game news or streaming events. Can he blame her though? She's so passionate about it! Well, it's fun to watch until she spends countless hours on some games and streaming services... until early morning. He only has so much patience.

Then there's her music tastes; surprisingly, both are pretty much in sync (Claryce adores the good old classics just as much as he does), BUT when it comes to her favorite genre (electro-swing), it's another story! So when Caravan Palace, one of Claryce's favorite bands, are having a concert in Springfield, it's hard not to accept tagging along with her... Claryce insisted he didn't need to go with her, but unfortunately her friends had to cancel their tickets last minute, and he knows how much Claryce hates going to such big events on her own... So here he is, enjoying the moment the way he knows best: listening to what he thinks is real music. 🙄

Claryce's biggest pet peeve is whenever Bob is invited to those infamous Republican-filled galas; while she despise the idea of sharing a meal and a room with old, rich capitalists, Bob always ends up landing her translation contracts - actual translation, not AI - and she can't say no to such opportunities, especially the way the video game industry is turning into. So here she goes, taking all the patience she can muster so she can please Bob.... Even if said events are always a nightmare for her, especially with the conversations she has to endure. Just like Bob with her gaming antics, she also has her limits when it comes to these evenings - but fortunately Bob always knows when it's best to leave. And even better, most guests seem to have no idea how to speak French! It allows her to let some steam out without causing any mess... Ironically, Claryce's friends would often tell her how lucky she is to be able to attend to such glamorous parties, but she'd argue she wouldn't mind trading her entry to anyone else if it weren't for the fact she was doing this for Bob.

Last but not least among many things; working out. She had had military training under her dad's education during her teenage years, and had sworn to never go under such intense routines ever again. Unfortunately, she ended up doing the exact opposite, her freelancing career furthermore enhancing her sedentary life. If it weren't for her job at Springfield Elementary or Bob + her friends taking her outside, she'd barely get any exercise. Which is something Bob does regularly - of course it doesn't take long until he suggests for the two of them to work out together. Poor Claryce didn't have the heart to admit her sedentary life, and nearly passes out trying to impress him. This was a good lesson for Claryce to be more honest about her boundaries, and a great opportunity for Bob to involve her in - softer - physical exercises. Not her favorite activity, if you asked her, but. She does appreciate the time she spends with him; and the feeling of accomplishment following all this physical torture is quite rewarding, so she'll gladly take it.

Hiii everyone, sorry for not uploading for weeks. Here are some Lucille doodles

I feel very apologetic to all of my very very dear friends, mutuals and followers for disappearing for such long periods of time, and not being active and not supporting those friends and mutuals on their posts. Idk what's been wrong with me, just feeling very off and unmotivated. I wanna draw more and be more online but it's just been hard. Plus having to be on a side blog on someone else's account means I have a lot less control and freedom with my posts. I want to create another new account and migrate over there, but with the luck I've had with my previous accounts, something tells me they're gonna be deleted for no reason too. Oh well, let me know whether you guys think that's a good idea :p I'll try to be more active

For Silas:

14. How would you consider your OC’s role in the show? Are they a major character like the Simpson family? Are they more likely to just be seen in the background? Or something in between?

I think that he'd be a decent one off! Even though as a character, his relationship with Herman is his main conflict and arc, in the show, I think any plots or storylines concerning him would be surrounding his interest and involvement in arts and culture. He's a very educated and sensitive man who I would compare to Mr. Bergstrom or John, but a bit more interested in history and books in specific, and anything related to war and weaponry. Perhaps he'd be a comedic foil to Herman, someone to contrast his harsh and conservative attitude when the characters have to visit the military antiques store.

32. Your OC is either in trouble or feeling terrible. Who’s the first person they can rely on for help?

Usually he does enjoy venting to Herman, who surprisingly proves himself to be a decent listener even if he seems somewhat aloof. However, most of the time when he feels in trouble or terrible, it's often because of Herman, who refuses to engage in discussions regarding the status and publicity of their relationship. So he usually goes to Julio Franco, who he is good friends with. Julio loves Silas but he does get a bit fatigued constantly hearing him vent about a man who will most likely never change, especially since he knows that Silas knows better, but he's always there. Silas has pretty friendly relationships with most of the other gay men in Springfield, (excluding Smithers, who he doesn't like all that well lol), and he vents to them occasionally too, but it's hard when it's usually about the same things regarding his relationship with Herman.

For Victor:

9. What are your OC’s hobbies?

When they aren't stalking or doing illegal shit on their computer, they spend a lot of time alone in their bedroom. They can play guitar! They have an electric guitar that they've owned since they were 12 and refuse to get a new one. They mostly enjoy playing super grungy and industrial sounds, much to the annoyance of their neighbors and also Lucille. Other than playing music they also listen to it a lot, they have hoards of cds they play in their car. They also enjoy dressing up and doing make up, they really like coming up with cute and pretty outfits, and they take a lot of pictures of themself :>

23. Hmmmm donuts…. Where would your OC stop by for a snack? Any food or drink they love in particular?

Anything very sweet and very spicy 😋 so a place like the Kwik-E-Mart they visit very often. Something they do a lot (but shouldn't) is crushing hard candy between their teeth and actually chewing it, their jaw strength is something to behold. They also will just eat kimchi straight from the jar. It's a staple in their mostly empty fridge. Also sugar free energy drinks they love the taste of aspartame.
