✨ How I Write My Notes ✨

Only write key information

I only write down the information i think i need to learn.

For example, instead of writing down "Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell", I write "Mitochondria - powerhouse of cell."

It makes it easier and quicker to jot down notes, especially when your teacher dictates a lot of stuff

use bullet point like dots and arrows

bullet point your information!!! it helps sort out your information and you can note down sub-info, subtopics or sub-terms properly.

i use arrows for definitions and i bullet sub-terms and etc.

use a scratch notebook

this is optional but if you're a chicken scratch writer like me, especially when writing quick notes, you should do this. after class, you can rewrite your notes and sort them. im emphasizing on notebook because using loose papers will guarantee that you loose those notes.

Hope this helps a lot, especially to highschoolers! These note-taking methods and habits really helped me get the grades I aimed for in highschool.

I've had people tell me doing notes is pointless but here I am with the highest grades I've ever gotten 🤧

Doing notes is my learning style but if note taking isn't your style, that's okay! to each their own !!

Well done on your grades!! A lot of people say that writing out notes is pointless etc but I'm like you and I do best when I write out my notes over and over again. Most effective might not always be most efficient but if you have the time so what!
