One more thing. This is a bit darker than my usual asks but I wanted to send it. I have mental health issues. When things get very negative or people say awful things to me it can be very difficult to remain positive when all the negative stuff is happening to me. With ADHD this can make just everything so much harder. I know all I have to do is persist, but then I start overthinking. If I affirm my list, should I affirm the entire list when I think about? If I get bored, then my ADHD tries to sabotage me full time BEGGING me to do something else and it never goes away for a long time.
I know you probably don’t know what exactly to say - but any advice on this is helpful!

There’s a campsite all along the beach. It’s made up of little rental cabins that are super cute and cozy. The ground is just sand. The campsite is really lively and the vibe is super nice. There are always people around. Everyone is super kind and it’s a really safe place.
My cabin isn’t isolated, but it’s quiet and on the edge of the campsite, so it opens straight onto the beach. I can see the beach from my terrace, but no one can see me from the beach.
༄.° THE RESTAURANT
Two minutes from my cabin there’s a delicious, super cute restaurant where I always find exactly what I want. You can get takeout and there’s barely any wait time.
༄.° THE ICE CREAM STAND
The ice cream stand is also close to my cabin. They always have super original flavors. The staff are super nice and there’s never a long line.
༄.° THE OUTDOOR MOVIE THEATER
They set up an outdoor movie theater on the beach twice a week once it gets dark. There’s always a big crowd and the vibe is amazing. The screen is set up right in front of the restaurant so you can have dinner at the same time. The mattresses are super comfortable and I always find one for myself. The movies they show are always great and family-friendly.

- Sooo today was my piano concert, and while I was waiting for my turn 😭 I just kept affirming "the concert went really well", and when it was my turn, I barely made any mistakes and it went super well ✌️😌
- I also posted this success story on my blog, where I said that I affirmed "I see sunflowers all the time", and my parents bought a gift for my piano teacher to thank her, and guess what it was..... a sunflower!!!! (They never buy sunflowers usually)

So, persisting simply means continuing to choose the new story, DESPITE the circumstances and obstacles you may encounter (yes even if they can be really annoying 😭😔).
And staying consistent means STAYING in your new identity without going back and forth and wavering.
I was just mindlessly scrolling and stumbled upon a post. In the comments, @throwawayyyyyyyyyyy111111 has pasted a link to a 230+ pages Google doc which they had created and pilled in majority of @hrrtshape (deactivated) posts/asks. Personally, I don't know this blogger since i only joined tumblr in march this year but yeah I was curious, im always curious so i searched the link up immediately.
I read the first page AND I FEEL LIKE EVERY SHIFTER NEEDS TO READ THIS! I know the doc is very very long.. but I think it's quite worth it if you're doubting shifting or just unable to shift.

It’s me again! Thank you for your post on ADHD because to be honest with you - the longer you do methods with ADHD your brain WILL eventually get bored and want to move on to something different and it just gets stronger every single day.
I’ve been doing well with manifesting still but I have many moments where I mess up because of this. The lack of motivation and gradually losing interest despite me not wanting to.
Do you have any advice on how to remain persistent despite all of that?

⋆。˚I'll try to answer you as best as I can, because, since I don't have ADHD, I don't really know what it feels like... BUT, I'm so sorry for everyone who has to deal with it 🥲

What I would do is.... switching manifestation methods everyday (even if you don't need them to manifest) to break the routine and avoid boredom.
Here are some methods you can alternate between regularly :
🍂 robotic affirmations
🍂 visualization
🍂 journaling
🍂 listening to subliminals
You can also use these methods in different ways. For example, with affirmations, you can sing them, say them out loud, write them down, or just repeat them on autopilot.
The goal is to avoid monotony so you don't end up getting bored and demotivated. Ი𐑼˚ ⋆。˚
Never forget that nothing can stop you from having your desires, not even ADHD or lack of motivation. You need to train yourself to stay disciplined no matter what.
