“You gotta talk to Yuu, Professor. They’ve been… off. They flinch when I get too loud, and the other day I saw bandages I know weren’t there before. I don’t get it… why would they do that?”
Crewel paused.
He had graded over fifty exams last night, scolded a third-year for exploding a cauldron... But that one sentence stopped everything.
He didn't scold Grim. He didn't panic. He nodded once and said,
“Thank you for telling me. You did the right thing, pup.”
That night, Crewel stayed up researching.
He was poring through psychology journals. His brow furrowed as he read about pain, coping mechanisms, and invisible wounds.
The next morning, he requested Yuu stay after class. Not in front of the others—he simply handed them a folded slip during potion lab, saying, “Come see me after last bell. No rush.”
When Yuu arrived, they looked uneasy, shoulders high with tension.
“I’m not in trouble, am I?”
“No. Sit. Please.”
They did, eyes darting to the ingredients shelf, then to the floor. Crewel sat across from them, hands folded on his desk, voice softer than they’d ever heard it.
“Grim spoke to me.”
Yuu froze. Crewel continued gently.
“He’s worried about you. And now, so am I.”
Silence. Yuu’s throat tightened.
“I’m sorry—” they blurted, eyes starting to burn.
“I didn’t want anyone to know— I was just— I didn’t know how else to deal with everything and—”
“Stop.”
Not a harsh command. Crewel stood and walked around the desk. He knelt beside them, one gloved hand hovering over their shaky hands .
“You have nothing to apologize for. Pain is not a moral failure. It doesn’t make you shameful. It makes you human.”
Yuu’s breath hitched.
“I’m not here to fix you. I can’t wave a magical pen and erase what you’ve felt. But I can promise you this: you’re not alone in this. Not anymore.”
He rose, placed a hand over his heart.
“You’re a part of this college. My student. And I take care of what’s mine.”
From then on, Crewel didn’t hover—but he checked in.
When Yuu looked withdrawn in class, he’d ask them to help sort ingredients. I
f they were dissociating, he’d say, “Mind walking with me to the greenhouse?”
Small tasks that let them breathe.
And he never pushed. Never pried.
Only left the door open—always open.
Crowley had a knack for dramatics. He thrived on being the center of the room.
But when Grim nervously shuffled into his office one rainy afternoon and said, “I think Yuu’s in trouble,” the headmage's feathers metaphorically dropped.
He didn't say a word at first. Just listened.
Later, he knocked on Ramshackle’s door himself.
Yuu answered, surprised. “Headmage?”
He took off his mask.
“May I come in?”
They blinked.
Crowley never took off his mask.
Never.
Crowley stood in the entryway.
“I hear you’ve been struggling. And before you say anything—I’m not here as your headmage.”
He placed the mask gently on a dusty table.
“I’m here as someone who once felt like a ghost too.”
Yuu swallowed hard.
“I know it’s hard, adjusting to this place,” he continued. “You’ve had to survive here without magic, without family, without answers. And you’ve done it all without a safety net.”
His voice wavered.
“Perhaps I should’ve given you one sooner.”
Yuu stared at him. Crowley’s eyes, usually behind his mask, were steady.
“Can I show you something?” he asked.
He led them to a storage room near the staff quarters. There, behind old uniforms and spell books, was a small chest. He opened it.
Inside were journals.
Dozens of them, worn at the edges.
“I wrote these when I was your age. A long, long, long.... long time ago.” he said quietly.
“When I didn’t understand the world, or my place in it. When I thought maybe… the world would be better off without me.”
Yuu’s breath caught.
“You’re not weak for needing help,” he said, turning to them. “You’re wise for accepting it.”
From then on, when he saw them anxious in a hallway, he didn’t sweep them away with flair.
He’d tap their shoulder, whisper, “There’s tea in my office. Let’s get some air.”
And on days when Yuu couldn’t speak at all, Crowley would sit beside them in silence. No mask. Just himself.
In time, Yuu came to understand that even the loudest voices sometimes scream just to be heard.
And Crowley?
He’d make sure Yuu never had to scream alone again.
It started with a quiet knock on the side door of Mystery Shop one evening after lights-out.
“Hey, little imp,” he said without turning around“Didn’t expect you tonight.”
But when Yuu stepped inside, their energy wasn’t curious about the items. It was heavy.
Sam finally looked over, smile fading as he saw their eyes red rimmed, hands tucked in their sleeves.
“Something happened?”
“I relapsed.”
Sam didn’t recoil, didn’t gasp.
He just set down the crystal orb he’d been polishing and stepped out from behind the counter.
“Come sit,” he said gently, guiding them to the little seating nook near the incense shelf. “Tell me what you need.”
“I don’t know,” Yuu whispered. “I just—Grim told the others, and everyone’s being kind, but I feel like I’m broken again. Like I failed.”
Sam reached over and pulled a tiny wooden box from a shelf behind him.
“Know what this is?” he asked, resting it in their lap.
Yuu shook their head.
“This box came from a spirit walker in the Scalding Sands. It’s over four hundred years old,” Sam explained. “Used to carry healing charms, notes of love, little promises folks made to themselves when they were hurting.”
He opened it slowly.
Inside were slips of folded paper—some new, some brittle with age.
Sam added one more—his own. He held it out to Yuu.
“Write one. Anything you want. Doesn’t have to be big. Could be: ‘I want to breathe tomorrow.’ Or: ‘I want to see the sun.’”
Yuu stared, then shakily took the pen.
After a long pause, they wrote:
“I want to believe I’ll be okay again.”
Sam tucked it inside the box, sealed it, and whispered, “Now it’s kept safe. No refunds, no backsies. That promise is real now.”
Yuu smiled weakly.
From that night forward, Sam always had a space open at the back of the shop.
If Yuu was overwhelmed in class, they’d sometimes find a handmade “delivery” waiting in their dorm room: a spell charm for calm dreams, a candle, or a simple note that read:
“Healing ain’t linear. But I’ve seen how stubborn you are. You’ll get there.”
Professor Trein stood at the front, chalk still in hand, yet his eyes had wandered from the blackboard.
He watched Yuu—slumped at their desk, shoulders taut, eyes unfocused. Not bored. Not distracted. Disassociated.
Lucius had already leapt from his desk perch and was weaving around Yuu’s chair. Trein set the chalk down.
“Yuu,” he said calmly, “Could you assist me in the archive room for a moment?”
There was no reason to doubt the request. It was casual enough.
No alarm in his tone. No heads turned. Yuu nodded numbly, rising without protest as the class barely took notice.
Trein’s pace was slow as he led them to a quiet hall—far from noise.
He closed the door behind them.
“Would you like to sit?” he offered, pulling out a chair from a reading desk.
Yuu did. But their gaze remained lowered.
Trein sat across from them, hands folded.
“There are lessons one cannot find in any curriculum,” he began, “Lessons about how to exist in a world that often refuses to make space for our pain.”
Silence.
“You don’t need to speak right away. I only ask that you listen.”
Yuu nodded once—just enough to let him know they were still with him.
“I’ve seen the signs,” he said. “The trembling. The vacant stares. The way your hands fidget when you believe no one is watching.”
“I want you to know I do not pity you. Pity can be shallow and cruel. What I feel is respect.”
Yuu looked up, confused.
“It takes strength to face each day knowing you’re at war with your own thoughts. It takes courage to survive when the world you knew has been torn from you and replaced with a place that doesn’t always feel real.”
Trein continued, “Grim came to me out of concern. And I assure you, Yuu… there is no shame in stumbling during recovery. Only in believing you must do it alone.”
Lucius jumped into Yuu’s lap then, curling up. Yuu slowly let a hand drift to stroke his back.
Trein gave a faint smile.
“Even Lucius knows who needs grounding.”
He then reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a bound notebook—aged but blank.
“This is for you. Write what hurts. What confuses you. Or write nothing at all. You may tear out the pages, burn them, or never show a soul. But sometimes, the mind cannot quiet until its burdens are given a place to rest.”
Yuu took it gently.
Down the road, Trein never hovered. But he always noticed.
If Yuu’s answers in class were shorter than usual, he’d adjust the lesson pace. If he saw their breathing stutter when voices around grew loud, he’d assign a solo reading task and lead the others elsewhere—shielding them with normalcy.
“Oi! You’re not gettin’ out of PE that easy!”
Yuu had hoped to sneak past the training field.
But Vargas spotted them with that hawk gaze of his and jogged over, waving enthusiastically.
They braced for a lecture about attendance, but he paused as he got closer.
“You okay?” he asked—less gruffly than usual.
Yuu tried to shrug it off, but Vargas tilted his head.
“I know I ain’t always the most gentle guy. But I do notice when one of my students looks like they’re carryin’ a boulder on their back.”
He crossed his arms.
“You wanna go for a walk?”
Yuu blinked. “You’re not gonna make me run laps?”
“Nope. Today we walk. Slowly. No sweat.”
So they did—around the track, where Vargas usually shouted drills.
His voice was calm, explaining how, even in physical training, injuries sometimes come from inside.
“Used to have a friend back in my rookie days,” he said. “Tough guy. Strong as hell. But he had demons in his head that none of us could see.”
He glanced at Yuu.
“Pain ain’t just broken bones and bruises. You can be fightin’ for your life, and no one will know unless they look close enough.”
Yuu swallowed. “I didn’t want to disappoint anyone.”
“You didn’t,” Vargas said, dead serious. “You’re still standin’. You showed up today. That takes guts.”
They stopped near the bleachers, and Vargas handed them something—a pair of weight gloves.
“These are yours now, not for lifting. Not for workouts. Just a reminder. You’re stronger than you think.”
From then on, Vargas kept an eye on them.
If Yuu’s breathing quickened during group drills, he’d subtly call a “water break.” If they looked spaced out, he’d shout, “Hey! Wanna time me on the sprint?”
I know I haven't drawn all the TWST families yet (more will come out one day, I promise) BUT!!! I really wanted to do an illustration of all the moms together! And I believe they'd get along great!
Very different from their children..... I wonder, how they would react if they found out about it?
Who knows, maybe this slightly terrifying fact will bring them together 🤔 in a way....???

“…Y/N’s late,” and Riddle hated that. Rules were simply to be followed, no exceptions whatsoever. Well, aside from you, that is. He held you at the same expectations as everyone, or at least tried to. He’d always had the thought that whoever he ended up with had to be rule-abiding and could keep up with his expectations.
After being together for a few months, however, he found that you were 85% rule abiding, matching his expectations…The remaining 15%…He unexpectedly still loved unconditionally.
Truthfully he wasn’t all that mad that you were late, what he was worried about was the fact that you were rarely late, not for this much, at least.
Mc/ Yuu 's Ramshackle is went through something rough, so it's not best to sleep there until it's fixed up , so yuu is offered to choose a dorm to live in temporarily.
Yuu is gender neutral and i decided to make a normal interaction and romantic interaction since im dipping my toes back into the writing scene again

Riddle almost seemed like a little kid who was having his first sleepover , when you were both having a study night
You and him actually got to mess around a little , like work on a puzzle. Obviously after studying but it was fun seeing Riddle so focused on something so minimal

This was perfect. Not only could be get to be closer with you but he'll get to see you more often in his dorm
Now he offered to share his room but if you were uncomfortable, he would find a spare
you actually were willing to join in his room...he didn't think it would make it that far -
He would spend as much time as he could with you , his favorite was when you offered to make strawberry tarts for him. He wanted to help because "it would taste better' which it would
He just swoons over you, when you were studying, his hands was near yours. He was nervous, but he really wanted to hold your hand and without warning, you actually grabbed it first. He kinda stopped working after that
When night time comes, he actually uses some of the pillows as a separator so that you weren't that close. he liked you but knows to let you have some space. That doesn't stop you both from holding hands

Leona, Normal:
if smug had a picture, it was Leona. He felt Pride that the famous Yuu picked Savanaclaw out of all dorms
You guys were mutual with each other, so he at least tolerates your presence
he doesn't really force you to do anything but he at least kinda nudges you to at least do something (not yell during his naps)
If you participate in Magical Shift, he does not go easy on you , he makes you work for it, which leads you dead on the field
Don't expect him do anything more for you, be lucky he gives you the bare minimum
as for your room? not his. Sooo go to any room you want if someone let's you. Jack Offered because best boy
Leona, Romantic:
Kinda the same as the normal one - but with obvious differences
He would kinda just follow you around and growl at any student who got too close, you didn't know why
any time he took a nap, you would just drag you in like a void , he felt very warm and the way he cuddles you was soothing
with him , his feelings are more obvious , you can tell by the way he looks at you . if you let him ,he would kiss you (but he won't if you say no )
for rooming, you automatically suggests his room , who would of guessed-
The way you have no space in the bed, it might as well be Leona as the bed with how he'd all in your space. You're not against it but you also like breathing , he's lucky his body warmth makes it worth it

Azul, Normal:
Of course you picked the best dorm, who wouldn't? Azul is happy to welcome you with open arms
First things ,first. He offers his room BUT not in his bed, he has a place for you on the floor but it has enough sheets for it to not be on the floor , he would just be more comfortable if you were in his room
Obviously , you're getting to work , but hey, it's extra cash you're getting in your pocket so it's not the worst things
it's unfortunately a shift that has both of the tweels-
now you got lucky that Azul kept both of them in line or else you would of struggled
Azul after your shift offered you some nice tea time, you did work hard after all , he appreciates your help
Azul, Romantic:
Oh seven- He can't believe this is happening. This is his chance! to bond closer to you , he just needs to not mess up this chance
He offer his room , he uses the excuse of "not trusting his dorm entirely with someone outside with them" which let's be fair he's kinda right either way-
He does have you work but it's because you offered. But Azul keeps you close to him , he enjoys helping you with on hands thing. Though he did somewhat shut down when you held hands, it was because you both happen to place your hands on a plate at the same time
The tweels catch on what's happening and of course they both got entertain themselves . Floyd would purposely bump into you and you would go right to Azul, making Azul flustered. Meanwhile Jade just brings up how Azul talks about you SOOO much. If Azul didn't go through a villian arc, he will now
After the shift , he sends some time with you. He's just so bashful , you're surprised because he somewhat stutters his words . You found it so cute
at night , as you slip into his bed, which is super soft, he's just on the other side just super stiff. As much as he wishes to cuddle you , his body said no - maybe next time

Kalim , Normal:
OMG YOU GET TO SPEND THE NIGHT? FOR MORE THEN JUST ONE NIGHT? YESSS
have fun sleeping the first night, you're gonna be up partying with Kalim to Jamil's dismay -
Kalim is super excited, he just plays all sort of games with you during your stay
you bet he's not use most of the time for carpet rides , you guys probably ride for like half an hour most days
one of the days, he actually tries to make you food , key word, tries- it's not horrible but you don't want to say it's good. He tried , so it's all that matters
When you went to sleep it was in Kalim's room , with the amount of blankets he had, you might as well sleep anywhere
Kalim, Romantic:
knowing kalim , he probably already told you his feelings even if he hid it , it would be too obvious that Jamil would just tell you straight up
He still has parties but he's been having private ones for just you and him
Kalim loves your presence, you're like the sun shining the world , his world.
when he takes you for a carpet ride, as you're both in the moonlight. You kiss, it wasn't long because as soon as your lips touched , he got super giddy like a little kid
Then it's normal business riding like a maniac on the carpet-

Surprisingly , he offers you some good food , now obviously it's healthier food but you're surprised it's enjoyable. He offers you tips on what ideal foods are good combos with good benefits
after the day , you spend time with him in his room. He gives you the beauty treatment, you both get masks , lotion and he does your hair with products
After he offers you a silky robe, you sleep so peacefully ,you just sleep as soon as you hit the bed, you're that relaxed
Vil Romantic:
He just smiles , he's had his eyes on you for a while. He just simply need an opportunity to get close
He dotes on you every moment he can, petting your head, kissing your hand . You get very bashful at this and he eats it up
If he notices anyone else eyeing you , whether good or bad, his aura just immediately gives 'back off or else"
Vil needs to practice for a dance shoot , fortunately, he has you for a partner. You dance for hours, not because he needed the practice but because he was able to be this close to you
You know for a fact, he does the beauty treatment here as well as the normal one.
in bed, you guys spoon, he's be spoon simply because he wants you to be in his arms. Once again you have the silky robe again os you sleep instantly

Idia is hyped, his bestie is going to be in his room for a while. So that means gaming all night
Now he still has to be a decent host , so he still lets you join him in dorm duties
but expect to be hanging out with him in his room for the most part , at least he cleaned up his room a little for you since you're sleeping there too
You guys do a challenge of seeing who gets the most amount of wins until you leave and the winner gets to make the loser treat the winner to a dessert from the cafeteria
One night you guys just vibe in animal crossing , Idia kinda just had it around and now he lowkey enjoys it ,it's fun with you playing with him. He also finds it funny for you to fall in the pits
It's super early in the morning like at 4 am , you both are jsut alseep in whatever place you're at

Ohh boy- he is not ready. He already has you as a good friend , he doesn't want to mess it up if he fails the romance route.
He tries to act normal in the gaming session but you can tell he's struggling to keep his cool
When you guys are on his bed, you lean against him and he's just internally screaming, of course he's happy but considering it's still physical touch , he's trying to get used to it

At night, you somewhat make him sleep early, he unknowingly just cuddled you and you just let it happened, whatever happens in the morning when he realizes how close he's been to you is a tomorrow issue.

You are the child of man, you expect him to treat you normally? wrong , he treats you like a princess/Prince
You're always with him unless you leaves you with the others , usually if he has Housewarden duties
He has tea time with you and he has an assortment of goodies, most of them are smaller then what you're used to , then you remember how he hates big desserts since he can't always share with someone, so you go with it
Malleus enjoy walking with you around Diasomnia, even with how eerie it is, it's actually very beautiful and whimsical
You also get to see how Malleus feels when sebek is following him like a puppy , you're surprised he doesn't get jealous of you
At night, Malleus actually offers you his own bed but to be fair, he doesn't sleep so it's not like he needs it
Malleus, Romantic:
He gets to have you all to himself? what a fine idea
You and malleus relationship is already defined , your love wasn't a secret really. How could it be with how often he sees you even before
Lilia likes to tease "oh , so when's the marriage" Malleus just froze "what a great idea" "Wait mallues, i was just joking-'
Malleus actually shows you his dragon form , mostly because his dorm gives him room to do so, he let you feel his scales, they were much more silky then you imagine
he flies with you in the dorm (either form ) , he doesn't go fast but if you ask , he'll let you enjoy the thrill
When it's time to rest, he for once indulges to sleep with you and has his arms over you as you both rest your eyes
Leona's voice rang out from across the room. You were laying in his bed, hunched over on the side of the bed. one could assume you were simply getting something, but you keep going back down with something rustling.. his curiosity was peaked, to say the least
His face was filled with suspicion, his eyebrows furrowed and the center of his nose wrinkled
"Charging my phone"
He rolled his eyes, his arms crossing as he gave you a look that spoke for him;
he wasn't letting this go
"Liar, I can smell it. Hand some over"
"No way??? you'll eat it all"
refusing food from him?? while being in his room?? laying on his bed??? wearing HIS shirt??? absolutely not
"yeah? ... then I guess I'll just have to take it"
You didn't even have time to react before the beastman was laying on you, reaching down to take some of the chips from your bag before grabbing the whole thing, walking away with that stupid smug grin as he continued munching
"Leona!!"
Your scolding was ignored, as well as the rest of your attempts at trying to get your bag of chips back

Completely honest? Just write it. I have no tips on how to start because the main hurtle is just starting. If you want to, do it. Form a writing habit from there that works for you.

So, in my sus post about Fem!Yuu, I may or may not have accidentally forgot my boy, Riddle. WHICH IS CRAZY BECAUSE RIDDLE WAS LITTERALY THE REASON I EVEN GOT INTO TWST! So in order to do my boi justice I made this. Though lowkey, Riddle is a bit OC, and I'm making this late at night. AND, this may or may not be inspired from Ouran Host club.... BUT ANYWAYS

Riddle finding about Fem!Yuu??
The Heartslabyul dorm was busy. Everyone was preparing for the Unbirthday Party the next day. Carter was busy finishing the decorations while Trey was busy in the kitchen. Dorm members were rushing back and forth to have everything in place. Yuu was dragged to Hearslabyual by Ace and Deuce to help them finish painting the roses.
"Come on! We gotta go!" Ace yelled as he ran across the lawn towards the rose mazes with Deuece following them.
"Why are you even bringing?! I'm not even part of your dorm!" Yuu yelled at him.
"Think of this as payment for inviting you to the Unbirthday party," Ace smiled cheekily at Yuu.
"Sorry, Yuu. But, we really do need your help! Everything is so far behind, and Riddle will have our heads if we don't finish soon." Deuce said.
Once they reached the white rose maze, Yuu saw it in awe. "WHAT? THIS WHOLE THING NEEDS TO BE DONE BY TOMORROW?!" Yuu started in awe at the hundreds of rows of roses that needed to be painted.
"Well, technically, the rules state that we need red and white roses, so we really only need to do about half of them-" Ace said shyly.
"That's not helpful," Yuu stated with a side-eye.
"Did you really drag the Prefect to do your work, Adeuce?" Carter said, slightly glaring at them with a smile.
Ace laughed nervously, and Deuce looked down. "We needed extra hands, so I got extra hands."
Carter shook his head, "Well, you'd better start soon before Riddle sees."
After a few hours, about 3/4 of the roses are painted. Yuu was holding onto the bottom of the ladder while Deuce was at the top painting the top roses, and Ace was painting the bottom. Riddle decided to stop and see how the progress was going with the roses. Surprisingly, he was pleased with how nicely the roses were painted.
"How lovely. When the roses are properly red, even the Queen herself would smile," Riddle said, smiling as he saw Deuce, Ace, and Yuu.
Then he spots Yuu. "Yuu? I didn't expect to see you here! Hmm. I suppose that is why the roses look immaculate." Riddle sighed as he realized Ace and Deuce dragged Yuu into helping them.
Deuce immediately turned his body to the Riddle. "AH! Thank you, Dormleader-" Right then, because of how swift his body turned, it caused the paint to tip over.
Riddle watched in shock as Deuce tried to catch the bucket. As if it were in slow motion, the tip over and pour all over Yuu, like a horror scene.
"Yuu!" Everybody shouted.
"Ugh," Yuu said as she wiped the red paint from her eyes. "Yuck! its everywhere"
Deuce raced down from the ladder. "Are you okay?" I am so sorry, Yuu!" Deuce was frantically waving his hands around Yuu, not sure what to do.
"Yuu! Are you alright? Are you hurt? This is quite the mess, Deuce. You must be more careful next time." Riddle scolded.

Riddle took Yuu to a private room, where she was able to take off her top. Underneath, she was able to replace her bandages covering her chest while she cleans off the rest of her skin. Right at the end, Riddle came into the room looking down with an extra uniform in hand.
"I believe this will be able to fit you, if not, I have other sizes as well-
Riddle cuts himself off as he looks up at you. As he looks at your bandage chest. "Yuu? Why is your chest bandage?" Riddle asked worried.
"Hmm? Why would it not?" Yuu asked confused.
Riddle looks at them confused with a slight glare in his eyes, "What do you mean? Bandages are used for injuries."
"Ah." Yuu realized what he meant as she looked down. "Well they don't have bras at Sam's shop, so the only other way to cover my boobs is by bandaging them."
"Huh?! B-b-b-" Riddle's face immediately turns red as he dropped the uniforms. As he realized Yuu's gender, he covered his eyes as he ran out.
You watch him in disbelief and confusion as he runs out. She looks down. "Huh, he got so flustered, it's not like anything was even showing."
After Yuu finished changing, she went to see Riddle. Riddle's face was still red from walking into Yuu. "Hey, Ridde, are you okay?" Yuu says softly, touching his shoulder.
Riddle did not even face her. "I-I…I had no idea."
Yuu tilts their head, "About what?"
Riddle swiftly turned his head, "What do you mean? I had no idea you were a girl! How improper of me to walk into a lady changing?! I am so sorry!"
Yuu chuckles, "Hey, it's okay. I was kinda under the impression that you knew."
"Why would I know this is an all-boys school?!"
"I guess you're kinda right about that," Yuu said, laughing as Riddle watched her in disbelief.
After Riddle calmed down, "Has Principal Crowley even done anything to help you?"
Yuu shrugged. "You know how he is." Riddle hummed in disapproval.

The Japanese fandom LOVES to tag works so it's easy for other fans to find what they are interested in and to avoid what they dislike. Keep the fandom etiquette in mind and practice it yourself! This means don't use unrelated tags to boost exposure when sharing your own posts; it's seen as disrespectful and rude. It also means you do NOT go out of your way to find content you know you dislike and attack the creator.

If you’re looking on Twitter, specific emojis tend to refer to the characters or groups of characters, which I have listed below. I’ve also included the first 2-3 katakana of each character’s first names.
The beginning katakana are combined with one another in order to write ship names. For example, if you want Leona x Prefect, you’d combine the first few katakana for Leona, レオ, and Prefect, 監 or ユウ, to create レオ監 or レオユウ (LeoPrefect or Leona x Prefect). Use a similar formula for your desired character. For example, swap out the レオ (Leo-) part for ジェイ and you get ジェイ監, or JeiPrefect, or Jade x Prefect.
Generally for yumeshipping, it’s the canon character’s name first and then Prefect in the end.

NRC is divided into seven mafias. Seven mafias that operate in different parts of the city and need each other to maintain balance. There are few places in which the seven don't rule, and you happen to live within the said place. Which is known as The Ramshackle. Home too many that want nothing to do with the powerful groups. And one rule within the Damshackles is, "Do not stay out beyond midnight." Nothing good happens after the clock chimes 12.
Mafia Heartslabyul:
Heartslabyul, also know as the Queendom of Roses, is strict and as long as laws and rules are followed, you wouldn't even believe that you were within mafia territory. There's rarely crime's rarely crime, and the mafia doesn't bother the people within its territory unless said people are up to no good. Which causes a public showing of punishment, to deter others from crossing the Rose-Red Mafia.
Directly in control of healthcare and portions of the Law. All Hospitals must pay the H.M [Heartslabyul Mafia] taxes and go through them before working with anyone that could want to work against the mafia. As well as portions of the law are decided by people that are tied to the crimson group. Most simply pay what's owed and follow the strict rules within his district, unless you don't, which is like signing your own death certificate. Next thing you know, you'll find your head not attached to your neck.

In practice, the consigliere is normally the third-ranking member of the administration of a family and was traditionally a senior member carrying the utmost respect of the family and is deeply familiar with the inner workings of the organization. A boss will often appoint a trusted close friend or personal advisor as his official consigliere.
Trey Clover has been friends with Riddle since childhood, as well as he's family has been involved with the Heartslabyul mafia for generations, which makes them basically family. Trey is extremely reliable and everyone within Heartslabyul view him as family, with his kind appearance.

A caporegime (also captain or skipper) is in charge of a crew, a group of soldiers who report directly to him. Each crew usually contains 10-20 soldiers and many more associates. A captain gives a percentage of his (and his underlings') earnings to the boss and is also responsible for any tasks assigned, including murder.
Deuce Spade was brought into the Mafia due to him messing with the wrong crowd and angering Riddle, so in order to not die, he pledged his loyalty. Over time climbing up the ranks from soldier to a Capo within 2 years. Many are conflicted with Deuce's sudden joining, but it isn't look down upon to join the Heartslabyul Mafia.

An associate is not a member of the Mafia but works for a crime family nonetheless. Associates can include a wide range of people who work for the family. An associate can have a wide range of duties, from virtually carrying out the same duties as a soldier to being a simple errand boy.
Due to his father's business, Ace basically grew up running errands for the Mafia, and that hasn't changed. He works with his brother and has slightly closer ties to the Mafia due to his friendship with Deuce.

SavannaClaw District is damn near lawless and follows the rules of their mafia and the mafia alone. The Government and Police are basically useless. They represent the wild, with a lot of natural landscape, yet believe heavily in the idea of keeping women and children safe. Majority of the SavannaClaw mafia is made up of women. Crime happens often within their territory but is often handled with right away by their own civilians. The women of SavannaClaw don't involve themselves with average crime and hold a lot of power throughout all seven territories. No one dares to prevent them from getting justice.
SavannaClaw is directly in control of food resources and recreational places, such as parks, zoos, and nature parks. All stores and recreational places go to him directly and must pay the S.M taxes, as well as any other Mafias must pay S.M unless they have special permissions. SavannaClaw prides themselves on being fair and non-discriminatory. As long as you are respectful to them, if not, you'll find yourself within the lion's den.

Octavinelle is one of the most dangerous parts of the city. Violence and crimes at all times, there are truly 2 parts to Octavinelle. Uptown and Downtown. Uptown is where the richest and wealthiest are, where the best restaurants are, the best stores, and the best everything. If you have the money and style, you can live the best life within Octavinelle.
Downtown Octavinelle is the exact opposite, dirty and grungy, the worse of the worse and the Mafia will simply turn a blind eye. Crimes happen often and no one solves them. If you're dead, then you're dead. Better luck next time. This Mafia is truly ruthless and isn't for the faint of heart. The police within its territory is as dangerous as the mafia, often paid to simply slack around, not to do their job.
Octavinelle gets most of its profit from restaurants, and stores, as well as making deals luring people into debt. His deals are super influential that not even the other six mafia bosses can intervene, except to tell others to be completely wary of him. There is no true honor code, aside from written agreements. Break his deal, and you'd possibly find yourself drowning.

The 2nd most violent district, after the new Mafia Boss, became in charge. Scarabia, also known as Scalding Sands, is beautiful in the land, and the people are genuinely sweet and kind, yet the violence is never checked, due to said kindness. Scalding Sands is also one of the largest district. The first largest SavannaClaw, aka the Sunset Savanna, 2nd is Octavinelle, aka the Coral Sea, and 3rd is Scalding Sands. This is an extremely rich mafia group, one of the largest due to its economy.
Scarabia gains profit from the selling of seasonings, oil, and rare minerals. Which gives Scarabia the nickname, The land of Gold. The Scarabia Mafia is tied closely to the Government, influencing them directly. Those that outright disrespect Scarabia, this will definitely leave you stranded in the desert.

Pomefiore, once known as the Shaftlands, the Entertainment District, is filled to the brim with Models, Actors, and anyone that wants to be a star, famous, and beloved. This is the best district to live in if you want forever entertainment, even though it's extremely dangerous and fake. Following strict rules, especially if you want to succeed. This industry is cutthroat and not just anyone can be famous, especially since the Mafia controls the media. During the day it's a picturesque aesthetic, the same as the night sites. But if you're simply the average person, it's dangerous. Many escaped the tyrannical rule of the Pomefiore Mafia.
Pomefiore is in charge of NRC's entertainment and tourism, and NRC relies heavily on it, bringing in large amounts of the city's money. Pomefiore is one of the most aesthetically pleasing Mafia, that is a constant presence, that in some parts, seen as an honor to be graced by the mafia, in others, is a complete nightmare that could leave you poisoned.

Vil rose to power due to his fast popularity, taking over Pomefiore single- handedly and modeling the District into his own. Many love him, while others are scared of him and ran to escape.

No one knows much about the Ignihyde District, aka the Underworld. It is genuinely a ghost town during the day, and anyone you do see immediately runs. The city is operated by machines until the sun sets and Ignihyde is alive. With events and parties, with stores open and bright lights. Unlike the foggy day, where you can barely see 3 feet in front of you. Violence is extremely rare, due to the fear of getting chased by Ignihyde Mafia's robot dogs, which are extremely violent, and most people that interact with the dogs don't come out alive.
The majority of Ignihyde's income comes from the selling of technology and weapons. From security systems to machine guns. There is no project too difficult to complete if the amount of money is high enough. Ignihyde, though, is extremely protective of their machines and if you're caught tampering with one, it will lead you 6 feet under.

One of the youngest within the Mafia to have such a powerful position. He's both the Underboss and Consigliere and is constantly seen running any errands, big or small. Ortho is extremely friendly, yet if you disrespect Idia, you disrespect him. So, any ill speaking of Idia ends with your soul in the afterlife.

Diasomnia District, aka Briar Valley, is the quietest and often forgotten, even though it has the most influential power. Many don't ever leave the Diasomnia District and never interact with the Mafia, so it's an honor seeing the Mafia in person. Similar to Heartslabyul, which Diasomnia is inspired by, so has various similarities to, it's an honor to be within the Diasomnia Mafia, and many love their existence. It's orderly and most of the people within Diasomnia have amazing influence and power. Little to none chaos or violence occurs, and is one of the safest districts, with slight problems due to discrimination.
Diasomnia has major control over everything and is super influential. Their money comes from everywhere and anyone, even if that means doing unsavory things. No one dares to talk bad about the Diasomnia mafia, lest you wanna be put into an endless sleep.

Title: King of Briar Valley
Age: 28
The Boss is the head of the family, usually reigning as a dictator, sometimes called the Don or "Godfather". The boss receives a cut of every operation. Operations are taken on by every member of the family.
No one has ever seen Malleus but knows of his strength within the Briar Valley, which is the for the Diasomnia District. Everyone fears, yet absolutely cherish him and never wants his reign to end.

Silver is unique out of the Mafia. No one knows where he came from, nor why he's important enough to be underboss, but he is. Having been raised to someday take the position.
✦Consigliere: Lilia Vanrouge

Age: 32
The consigliere is an advisor to the family and is sometimes seen as the boss's "right-hand man". He is used as a mediator of disputes and often acts as a representative or aide for the family in meetings with other families, rival criminal organizations, and important business associates. In practice, the consigliere is normally the third-ranking member of the administration of a family and was traditionally a senior member carrying the utmost respect of the family and is deeply familiar with the inner workings of the organization. A boss will often appoint a trusted close friend or personal advisor as his official consigliere.
Lilia is scary. Frightening. Yet acts like that of a child. He's weird and his behavior is odd. Most remember him to have a more serious appearance, than the boyish one he has now, which confuses many.
✦Caporegime [Capo]: Sebek Zigvolt
Title: Cap' Croc, Yapping Crocodile, & Most Loyal Knight
Age: 19
A caporegime (also captain or skipper) is in charge of a crew, a group of soldiers who report directly to him. Each crew usually contains 10-20 soldiers and many more associates. A capo is appointed by the boss and reports to him or the underboss. A captain gives a percentage of his (and his underlings') earnings to the boss and is also responsible for any tasks assigned, including murder.
His title, Yapping Crocodile was created by Leona from SavannaClaw, due to his constant yelling in defense of Malleus, which stuck with him as he rose the ranks to Capo. Silver calls him Cap' Croc, cause it's also funny. Sebek is like any other member of the Diasomnia Mafia, is to prove himself.
Information:
Magic exists, yet is rarely used. Outdated. And in some places, frowned upon. The existence of beastman, fae, and merpeople, as well as humans still exists. Immorality is still a thing—aswell as overblots. Mafia Leaders are still the only ones who use magic on a regular bases.
Each of the mafia districts had an original name. For example, The Heartslabyul District, but their district was originally named Queendom of Roses. This is due to the overarching power that the Mafia holds, that each district is named after the Mafia instead of its original Name. They are still identified as they're old names on maps, but they're lost to those inside the Districts, depending on their mafia.
Ramshackle isn't considered a district, even though it's big enough to be one, but is rather large and runs on its own, and is located on the outskirts of NRC. Ramshackle isn't under the control of any Mafia.
All 7 districts meet surround a circle of NRC, where the Government is mainly based as well as those rich that can afford to be outside of the Mafia but are still reliant upon them.
Anyone can visit different districts, though many choose not to unless they have written documents that allow you within other districts, as well as paying a small fee. Some Districts are harder to get into than others.
For example, SavannaClaw requires valid documents and as long as they're valid and you carry them with you at all times, you're completely safe and welcome. But if you want to go to Octavinelle and you don't live there, you're required to pay a fee of nearly 50 dollars ~ 100 thaumarks to simply visit, and if you want to leave, it requires months' notice. In some districts, it's better to stay than to try to leave.
Not all districts get along, though some are more respected than others.
For example, Pomefiore is one of the first and longest existing mafias within NRC, with Heartslabyul the second longest, having a deeply rooted influence that lasts generations. So Pomefiore and Heartslabyul highly respect each other.
Rivalries Exist. Due to the participation in sports, Each District has its own sports teams that compete with each other and the best players move on and can join NRC's main team. Though these competitions are extremely political and determine various things.
NRC Government:
Controlled by Dire Crowley, who decided years ago that instead of continuous Mafia and Gang wars, they would merely allow the Mafia certain territories and districts in order to keep the peace and it has been that way since. Though many view him as unreliable and a coward, Crowley has prevented the deaths of many, to the best of his abilities, limiting the spread of the seven mafias. Forcing them to act only within their district and stopping them from spreading to other cities.
RSA Heroes:
RSA is a neighboring city that's been directly impacted by NRC's growing problem. The RSA Heroes are a group of people that actively fight against the Mafias, and aid those that want to escape NRC, which has gained the popularity of those within Ramshackle and has caused problems for the seven mafias. Some mafias which that personally want to get rid of the Ramshackles and force them to live within the Districts.
Noble Bell City:
An equally corrupt far-off city, that often meets with the mafia leaders of NRC, yet views them as brash. NBC isn't different from NRC, except for their current governor, Rollo Flamm, who controls all of NBC, which makes it a toxic and dangerous city. Has attempted to lure Ramshackle and make it part of NBC, which angered Diasomnia.
The Ramshackle District:
This is where you live. There's a rather healthy community of people helping people, and even if it's old and dirty, you love it. You live here with your cat, Grim, who you found digging in your dumpster. You work a simple job, running different errands, that often have you visiting multiple different districts, yet never once have you run into the Mafia. Simply cause you follow one rule, "Do stay out beyond midnight."
Now, you love your home within the Ramshackle, your lil hovel, and your small garden with your cat. You love it, truly you do. You love your neighbors, and you love the festivals that the Ramshackle holds. You love it all.
Your leather satchel hangs off your hip, filled to the brim with different letters and papers from your most recent trip. You just returned from Scarabia, having a good easy delivery for the old man that lives up the street, and after a long day, you're finally home. You push past the old rickety iron gate, and up the stone pathway, eyes searching along for your familiar feline friend. He usually waits for you.
Hopping the old creaky steps, until you stop right in front of a card. Perfectly placed with gold decor. 'For Ramschackle's Perfect. You're invited to Crowley Hall' written directly on the front. Ramshackle's Perfect was only a joke type name among the people that lived in, said Ramshackle. Who else would call you that?
You pick up the letter, glancing around the porch, before slipping inside your home, and closing the door behind you. Crowley Hall, also known as the Grand Dinner Hall, a place where all important events took place, especially the meeting of all seven mafia leaders. Why would someone invite you with no other information? You flip the card, there's nothing else. Your shoulders slump, you shouldn't go. Yet, you stare at the words once again. It could be important or lead to trouble for the other people of Ramshackle. Your eyes drift over to your clock. It was only 7 pm.
You had five hours.
You glance back at the thick fancy card. Five hours before 12. You feel a familiar purr, and glance down at your cat, Grim rubbing against your legs. Five hours, and well, as long as you're back before midnight. You'll be fine.

You had always been outcasted by the village courtesy of your sister. Since her birth she had found a way to encroach favor amongst teachers, neighbors, and even your parents all at your expense. In the small town you both grew up in, this was never ideal. Always known as Carmelia’s big (sister/brother), the little screw up who tried to up their lovely little sister. For all your life you would be second to her and she purposefully meant to keep it that way.
“(Y/n)! Did you cheat on this math quiz?”
“No–I didn’t it was–”
“It was them I saw it!”
“Thank you for your honesty Carmelia, (Y/n) you will spend the rest of the day cleaning the hallways.”
“But I didn’t-”
“Go!”
It wasn’t just in school but everywhere she would lie, steal, frame, bully you into making herself the star of everything. She’d never give an explanation either she just looked pitifully at you or smiled as though she hadn’t just publicly shamed you.
Which led to your desire to move out and luckily no one seemed to care when you devoted endless amounts of time to moving boxes to an abandoned cottage just outside of the town. Your safe haven sat perfectly near the edge of the forest with the garden spilling into it. Far away from the town and Carmelia; it was perfect for you. The outcasted sibling meant to take the blame for everything, finally far enough to be safely excluded. You finally are at a place where you could exist without judgment or whatever cruel punishment she deemed fit. Only returning to the town to stock up on your years worth of ungrowable supplies you found happiness in your garden and the entrance to the forest.
You respected the forest as a place of beauty. A place that shouldn’t be disturbed unless absolutely necessary. It was your rule of survival. With no one looking for you and no one to rely on, everything that honored your survival became so much more important. Or that was how it would be until you met Silver.
You were sitting near the edge of the forest, a typical pastime, only to see the glimpse of what looks to be a pale child’s hand disappearing behind a tree. A trick of the light...right? But then the increasing sound of a child’s wails and you couldn’t just stand by. You enter on a whim, remaining quiet to listen to the child’s cries and eventually you stumble upon a little boy. Dressed in nothing but some leafy equivalent to a diaper and with white tufts of hair was struggling to even step before landing on you. Immediately you pick the child up checking for injury before spinning to check for a parent. You debated stepping deeper into the forest to search for a parent but as the child began wailing again you decided returning home was best.
Unbeknownst to you a fae by the name of Lilia Vanrouge was watching fondly as you fed and cooed at his little boy. And within the next few hours he’d propose to the prince of thorns to keep an eye out for their Silver who seemed to scamper off ‘somewhere’, pointing specifically to the cottage at the very edge of the forest.
Of course Malleus would go just to see why his caretaker was being so weird. Watching through the trees at the edge of the forest he could see Silver. He was about to call out to him until he saw you. Playing along with whatever game Silver initiated, you bounced and ran with the boy ending the session by plopping in a patch of nearby wild flowers. For you it was such an unceremonius thing. You really meant to lower yourself better but the need for speed outweighed your attempts to save your knees. But you ignored the dirt spots on your knees and hands to keep playing with the nameless boy who’s smile you just couldn’t get enough of. Completely unaware of the fae prince spying amongst the trees.
He was in awe. Watching you so gracefully lay amongst the flowers that only seem to accentuate your beauty. There was something that made you, a mere human so ethereal as you surrounded yourself with the nature he calls his. What made you so enticing to him that he didn’t just go over there and snatch Silver out of your hold? What was this feeling stirring in his ches–
“Hello sir, do you know this little boy?”
His thoughts were interrupted by you, smiling and curious as you came just a few feet away from his ‘hiding spot.’ He tried to speak but he found that for once words were hard to come by when he was staring into your enchanting (e/c) eyes.
“Matr!”
Feeling the sudden hug just below his knee he had some reprieve from speaking to you right away. He looked to see your smile shrink a bit before returning with a woeful downturn.
“Oh, well I guess that answers that then…” You slowly retreated, your shoulders slumped a little.
“Wait!”
You more than eagerly turned around with this hopeful look in your eye.
“Yes, sir?”
“Malleus, my name is Malleus.”
“--My name is (Y/n).”
You both seemed to be caught in one anothers gaze both searching for something so unfamiliar but so welcoming. Your unintentional stare fest was interrupted by the grumbling of someone’s tummy. Both of you looked to young Silver who was looking just as amazed at the sound as you two and with a chuckle you invited them inside.
“Malleus, if you’d like I wouldn’t mind cooking for you before you go?”
“Of course.”
With eager steps the fae prince left the forest to follow you into your cottage dragging Silver along.
From then on a glorious friendship was born. Meeting with Malleus from sunrise to daybreak with Silver attending and not. Whether it was loneliness or truly because you felt something more for the mysterious horned-man you gladly let him become a part of everything you did. Now your empty days were spent speaking to Malleus about trivial things or teaching Silver about human customs. Now your life was filled with purpose and when it was entirely silent in the cabin you yearned for none other than Malleus as you replayed the sounds of tiny feet patting in and out of the college. You werent the only one feeling that way and as Malleus returned to the center of the valley of the thorns it just wasn’t the same. He’d look at the different fae and only think of how your curiosity would thrive or how you’d find some way to make everything better.
Of course Lilia missed none of this and once again so subtly began to probe.
“Oya? This (Y/n) fellow seems to enjoy your company quite a lot…Are they married?”
“They taught Silver this? What good parenting skills.”
“Are you pursuing this (Y/n) ? They surely sound like Queen/King material.”
He gets the point and he hesitantly begins the process of courting. Of course you are surprised when your dear Malleus suddenly offers to drape your neck in jewels that he has told you that he cherishes. Or when he starts wanting to hold hands more or how he nips at your ears when he hugs you. While you might be a hermit you weren’t entirely inept and when you offhandly meet with Lilia he happily explains.
“Yes, he is trying to court you. How do you feel about that?”
For as shameless as Lilia had been in pushing you two together there was still a possibility that it wasn’t reciprocated. And of course his goal was to…prepare for Malleus’ reaction whether that was providing cushion for his prince or the people who he’ll affect.
“I-I’ve never had anyone even remotely see me as something worth loving…”
You trailed off thoughtfully being reminded of the town and Carmelia. As though it summoned them you began to hear the crunching of leaves from multiple shoes. Looking up you could see what looked like a mob invading your property. You immediately got up to at least gain some reason as to why these people were here only to receive your answer as two burly men appeared on your sides.
“TIE THEM UP FOR THEIR CRIMES!”
“A WITCH!”
“-WHO TORMENTED OUR DEAR CARMELIA!”
There it was. Your sentencing is done at the hands of your tormentor. Carried away by the mob you could only mentally apologize to Lilia as you were carried away to your fate.
Your ears were blearing at the sound of constant yelling and shouting as you were retied to the wooden stake. You could barely bring yourself to lift your eyes to search for the one responsible. Was she smiling? Was she crying? It really didn’t matter, it wouldn’t matter in a minute as the fire passed along the scattered torches throughout the crowd slowly leading up to the torch that would spell your doom.
You closed your eyes and took in a deep breath. Possibly your last one as the final torch was lit.
One.
Two.
The sky turned gray and the fire blew out. Immediately the angry and violent shouting turned into silent fear. For a moment you wondered if anyone actually believed this claim. Suddenly a growl was heard and a glow of familiar jade green seemed to birth itself at the center of the forming spiral.
“Oh no.” You muttered.
“D-did you do this?!”
It was Carmelia. Her finger was pointed at you, her face was twisted, and she was stomping her way towards you. The crowd parted for her even stepping back as she climbed up your stage getting dangerously close to you.
“You’re doing this! You really think this will make me stop?! Make us stop?!” Her spit was splashing on your face as she screamed at you. In contrast to her sentiment the people of your town who followed everywhere had stopped. They were backing away, some getting on their knees, and others running. But nonetheless Carmelia continued.
“You think you’re better than ME! YOU?! THINK!?YOUR?! BETTER?!THAN!?ME?!”
She growled digging her nails into your scalp before thrashing your head with every syllable. Completely oblivious to the reptillian body disappearing amongs the clouds.
You couldn’t gain your bearings even as the blaring sound rendered Carmellia to a kneeling position. Finally being able to gain some semblance of reality you could only deduct that you’d die at the hands of whatever storm this was. You decided that you’d sleep. Finally achieving rest as black dots filled your vision and the strain on your body seemed to suspend.
When you awoke you weren’t in pain. The ceiling was covered in vines and ivory flowers full and budding it reminded you of your garden. Wait, your garden was destroyed, right? Then where were you?
Finally awake you rose from the plush bed; looking at it seemed to be an abnormal bush. Solid and holding memory it was ingenious to sleep on such a thing. Pushing the thought aside you rised to stretch, satisfied as you let your bones pop and crack.
“Well sleeping beauty, glad you're awake!”
The voice sounded familiar as you looked to an entrance that wasn’t there before.
“..Lillia?”
“Good! You remember me, then you’ll do well to remember your fiance!”
“M-my fiance?!”
Even with your returning memory you couldn’t gather where or when you had gotten a fiance. You looked at him incredulous as he sighed and pushed you into the doorway with great ease. You tried to push back but found that you were in leafy slippers that had absolutely no traction at all.
“Stop fighting! You shouldn’t be so reluctant, it's your wedding day!”
“W-wedding?! To whom?!”
One last push showed the ending of the tunnel which was filled with even more white flowers and what looked like a colosseum full of non-humans. In various seats surrounding a smaller arch of black and green flowers sat creatures with purple skin and antler horns and various creatures flying around their heads. In the center dressed in a grand suit of black and green with a crown on top of his head was Malleus. The fae you had just barely discovered was trying to court you. The fae you dearly valued. On the side you could see that same little boy nearly asleep holding a pillow of glowing rings.
“M-malleus?”
From behind the bat fae held the back of your arms as you took in the reality of this event.
“Remember I told you he was courting you?”
“Y-yes?”
“There are three steps to courting among fae-”
His hands disappeared from your arms.
“1. Dawning the potential mate in claimed treasure.”
You felt the weight of that same golden-jade necklace appear on your neck.
“2. The physical claiming of the mate through marking.”
The cold nip of fae metal enveloping your ear with a golden cuff.
“And three (Y/n), is the price of life being paid.”
In a warm glow you looked down to realize you were now wearing a white and gold outfit. Pronouncing your curves, decorated in white flowers in full bloom
“Wh-what does that mean?”
The fae chuckled looking absolutely devious under the shadow of the flowery hallway.
“He saved you from that woman and the villagers, right?”
“I suppose he did…”
Resigning your fate you were about to reach for Lilia’s offered arm before sating your last bit of curiosity.
“What-what would he have done if the villagers didn’t do what they did?”
The fae smiled before grabbing your arm and looping it with his pulling you along before you fell in line with him. Veil magically draping over your head, concealed the reaction of Lilia’s telepathic link.
“We kept it as humanly-traditional as we could just to make you comfortable.”
“Th-thanks?”
At the steps, before the dark arch where Malleus happily waited you leaned down to let Lilia kiss your cheek.
“Welcome to the family!”
You nodded before allowing a smaller fae to help you travel up the steps to meet Malleus. Face to face with your almost husband you refused to meet his gaze, mentally preparing yourself for the next words to come out of your mouth. Listening to a differently worded wedding vows it eventually ended with one answer leaving your mouth.
“I do.”
Pulled in by your waist and against the sturdy build of your husband you did nothing but loop your arms around his neck as he captured your lips. Holding you up as a surge of energy seemed to flow through you the flowers on your outfit began to turn black, morphing to match the design of the groom. You finally met the jade-green eyes of your fae husband as the weight of your own crown began to form.
It was just nearing the end of the ceremony, where mostly new freshmen had just arrived at Night Raven College. Everything having gone smoothly for the most part, like most days every year.
So it wouldn't be unnatural there being one gate left to be opened. Most would think of the arrival of another student.
What most did not expect was for the gate to open without the aid of the headmaster. What followed was for two new arrivals to stumble out of the coffin almost suddenly.
It was a shock to all, not just by the fact that someone exited on their own accord, or the fact that these two new arrivals were in one gate, but the fact that one of them was a magicless person from another world and the other being a horned fa- wait...
MALLEUS DRACONIA!!!

If that wasn't shocking, everyone became more freaked out when said magicless student happened to call THE prince of Brair Valley "Tsunotaro/Hornton" when asking him where they were.
To probably best explain in words, before arriving at Night Raven College, something happens to Malleus. He is whisked away to another world by some unknown force and winds up stuck in Yuu's world. There, he and Yuu met much earlier than anticipated before the story. In which both look out for each other until eventually the carriage arrives for both of them.
Probably thinking the first years freaking out that a magicless person has balls to be calling Malleus by a silly nickname. Even Sebek and the rest of Diasomnia.

Gifting Malleus an Ice Cream Cake!
You shift your grip on the neatly wrapped package in your hands, shoes lightly scuffing against the floor as you exit the Heartslabyul mirror and excitedly make your way to the Diasomnia one.
Malleus had unsurprisingly received a letter from the Headmage stating he ranked the highest in school academics and of course, you and the other boys wished to throw him a little party.
Sebek and Silver were in charge of setting up the decorations and appetizers, while Lilia was off distracting Malleus so things can be prepared, and although they didn't demand anything from you, you decided to get the main dessert!
As his beloved, you're well aware of Malleus' dislike for cakes, but also of his love of ice cream! Just recently Cater had been showing you pictures off Magicam of these spectacular and extravagant cakes that secretly harbored ice cream inside! You had contacted the Heartslabyul Vice Housewarden, Trey, to see if he could craft one, just of a much smaller magnitude. Although never having made one before, he was thrilled to try his hand at it and created this beautifully decorated delicacy, just large enough for the 5 of you to finish in one sitting.
You arrived at the dorm and upon entering the main room, you hear the usual sound of Sebek scolding Silver, "Silver! Cease your dozing, Malleus can come through those doors any moment now!"
You breath a slight sigh of relief, having been just a tad worried you would arrive last. As you carefully remove the cake from the packaging, you place it in the center of the main table, making sure it looks perfect from every angle.
"Oh (Lord/Lady)(Name), is that the cake you had been telling us about?" Sebek asks, the Half-Fae walking over to you to appraise the cake, seemingly to approve of the dessert.
"Yes! I came straight here once I got it. I am a little worried it may melt before we can get to it though.." you trail off as Silver steps on over, looking at the cake as well.
"I recall a spell father would cast on certain foods to help make them last through the winters. I can cast that if you would like."
"Oh yes, that would be great Silver!" You clap your hands together, looking at the light haired male with a grin on your face.
"I was just about to suggest the same thing!" Sebek claims, crossing his arms and looking off to the side. You huff lightly and pat his arm, "Of course you were Sebek. Malleus is certainly lucky to have such useful guards like you two!"
Sometimes you like to give overt praise to Sebek. He truly doesn't get enough appreciation for his devotion and loyalty to Malleus, and now by extention- you.
Black and pink enters your vision as a teasing voice asks, "Oh, and what about me?" It comes from Lilia, who is doing his favorite past time of startling unexpected victims with his flying while upside down.
"I find it worrisome you take such pleasure in scaring my dearest, Lilia." Comes the smooth and composed voice from the man of the hour. He takes long and graceful strides to approach you and presses a kiss to your head, having long forgone the fear of showing his affections for you in front of those he trusts most.
Your tender moment is cut short as you address the elder Fae with a unimpressed huff, "Lilia, you already know how thankful I am about all you do for Malleus."
Indeed, many many nights ago, not too long after you and Malleus had confessed your feelings for the other, you ended up having a heart-to-heart with him. You recall getting tearful when thanking him for the fatherly role he had taken on, and just how much he meant to Malleus. How much he had done for Malleus.
"Oh? This has Clover's signuture style about it. Did he craft this?" Malleus asks while looking at the black and green icing that is decorating the cake with much amusement.
"Yeah! I had him craft this for you! There's something special about it." You foreshadow, wanting him to know you would never forget such an important detail like his aversion to cakes.
"My, that's quite intriguing. I almost wish to cut into it this very moment." An alluring grin blossoms across his painted lips, his hand coming up to rest beneath his chin as he continues examining the cake with now-intensified curiosity.
You shrug, bringing the cake slightly closer to where you two are standing, "Why not? This is your party dear, you can do as you wish. There's no official way to throw a party." You hand him the knife situated not far off on the table as you hear father and son bickering.
"Ah yes, I'm sure Father is throwing quite terrible parties if there was an official guide."
"What was that Silver?"
"Nothing Father!"
"Well then if you're certain," Malleus carefully cuts into the cake, very intrigued to see what you have done to the dessert. He removes the first slice and places it on a nearby plate, inspecting it for what makes it special.
"My, is that... ice cream?"
"Yeah! Pretty neat huh?" You excitedly smile at him, forgoing how you discovered it as he may get pouty about you learning such a wonderful thing from Cater and Magicam.
He blinks in surprise, before the small grin adorning his face grows even larger as he joyously laughs.
"Oh how delightful! You never cease to amaze me (Name). Thank you, my dearest for showing me." Malleus quickly yet effortlessly turns to you and grasps your chin, pulling you into a chaste but tender kiss.
You're a bit bashful at his praise and affection as you breathe out, "You're welcome, my dear. Anything for you."
You two break apart when Lilia once again breaks the amorous moment.
"Alright, enough of this mushy lovey stuff. Let's have some cake!"
As the small but pleasant festivities continue on through the night, mouths stained black and green from the sweet icing, you try to calm the racing of your heart when you gaze at the prince who is full of elation.
He has his little family all here sharing a jubilant occasion. Truly, he is a lucky Fae.
Little Malleus who has not felt the warmth of another since he was an egg. The only escape from the chill of Briar Valley's castle was his sheets, pre-warmed from his own body heat.
Of course, his grandmother was not adverse to patting his head from time to time, or squeezing his little hand in reassurance—but she was busy, she was always busy. So, he would often stick with the heat of his own body, his scaley tail wrapped around his tiny body, a small blanket thrown around his shoulders. He'd sit beneath the giant painting in the hallway just before the doors to his chambers—the image captured within its frame was of his mother.
Malleus would often sit beneath the large canvas during his independent study.
His books would be open and spread across the floor, a feather quill in his palm as he jotted down the notes his tutor suggested. Sometimes he'd talk as if she could hear him. He'd ramble about his day, or the various gargoyles around the castle. He'd lean against the wall, hoping that the painting would help him feel the phantom warmth of her embrace.
He would rest his head back, his horns thudding against the wall and bright eyes closed as he tried to imagine the woman in the painting hugging his egg.
He imagined her holding him close, rocking side to side and singing softly, her hands rubbing the surface the egg. Fae needed their mother's love to hatch. He knew she didn't choose to stop giving him love, he knew she didn't choose to have his hatching be delayed by two centuries, but he wondered how much love she gave to him. Perhaps the very concept of him living and breathing was proof of her love, or maybe the familar, lingering lullaby in the back of his mind?
But, those speculations mattered not.
He was still alone, sitting on the cold stone floors of the palace. His tummy still ached from eating the whole of his birthday cake by himself because he had no one to share the treat with. He still lacked the body heat of another wrapped around his shoulders. He was still painfully isolated, forever feared and unapproachable, still incapable of friendship—still alone.
Perhaps it was a fault of his own? Had he not put in enough effort? Had he not worked on his smile, his leaning down to meet those shorter than him? Had he not practiced his greetings in the mirror and eye contact when conversing?
Human interactions were painfully hard for him. For the life of him, he simply could not understand them, even after three full years of being surrounded by them.
That is, until his quiet place was 'rudely' interrupted by a human without a trace of magic.
You.
His eyes sparkled when you approched him with no fear, when you did not shudder at his appearance, or cower at his name. In fact, you gave him your own cute nickname he couldn't help but feel giddy about—Tsunotarou. It was quite on the nose, yes, but he didn't mind.
You had a level of audacity and confidence that attracted him to you. He wondered how you managed that with no power to back it up—humans were fascinating.
Malleus hoped that perhaps you could become friends with him, that you'd be his first real friend. Not to take lightly of Silver or Sebek of course! But he wanted one he made on his own. He wanted proof that he was not incapable interaction and eventually friendship with a human. And when you happily giggled that stupid nickname and hip-bumped his thigh as you responded 'Of course!' to his question of your relationship status, he nearly fainted.
He had made his own friend, there was no longer a lack of presence near him, and for once no one would bow to his every whim or scurry away from him in fear.
Malleus, touch-starved Malleus who would often tense when the two of you got too close to each other. He was unaware of the intimacy capacity between friends in regards to human relationships, but he longed, hoped, that eventually he would be able to feel your warmth. He wished to hold your hand as you two went on your nightly walks, to play "footsie(?)" underneath the table like he saw others do, that was all he wanted.
"Tsunotarou? Could I...touch your horns?"
He world seemed to stop, time slowed when you asked such a thing. He knew, he knew you didn't understand the implications of your question—yet, he did not have the heart to stop you. "I know we aren't super close or anything. But I wanted to ask! They seem so cool, but if it makes you uncomfortable thats understand—"
"You may."
"Huh?"
"Apologies for interrupting you, but you can touch as much as you'd like, Child of man." If his tail were out, it would be wagging back and forth in excitement at the adorable expression you wear on your face.
The two of you are sat on the soft grass, Malleus leaning his head down so you could reach.
Softly, with the weight of a fallen leaf, your fingertips ghost along the surface of his horn. Slowly, you add pressure, fingers sliding along the curl of the shape and the ridges. "They feel tough. Are they kind of like bone?" You him, becoming bolder as you softly grab it.
"...you could say that." Malleus sighs, curled lashed fluttering closed. He couldn't reveal his satisfaction, it would be far too embarrassing as the prince of Briar Valley to show signs of being touch-starv—
A low rumble leaves his throat and his eyes snap open.
Your hand stills on his horn, and your eyes are glued to his own.
Did I just purr?!
Did he just purr?!
"Ah—I sincerely apologize for—" he tries to croak out before you interrupt.
"Does it feel good? Would you like more?" You whisper without thinking, "I mean! If it makes you uncomfortable or awkward or anything, I can stop, but if its satisfying to you...I can continue. I have no problem."
"Uh...I—yes. Yes, please...continue."
As embarrassed as he is—as evident in the link tips of his pointy ears and pink flush over his pale cheeks—he couldn't pass up the opportunity. He leans his head towards you, coming closer into your space, starved for more of your touch.
Malleus Draconia, heir to the Briar Valley throne, was simply a puppy in your gentle hands. You smile, leaning into his his body aswell, close enough that he could wrap you in a tight hug if he wished. Actually, he does wish that, but he would never dare to without asking. He was putty in your hands, purring like Grim as you comb your fingers through his hair, fingers brushing agaisnt the scales on his forehead and exploring the feel of his horn. Malleus purrs again, a twitch of his lips forming a smile. He felt the warmth of someone else, something he's longed for since childhood over one hundred years ago. He wondered how anyone could possibly survive without feeling this, how someone could rob another of this.
Regardless, he's felt this once, and he would not let this be robbed of him anymore.
