What gets me is that one scene with the Chirean blind lady who had good effects. I feel like her concoction vs Singed's methods that Viktor used wouldn't work the same.

I've been on morphine in the emergency room. It was a drug prescribed to me by professionals. Buttt it's also a street drug. Like morphine, shimmer can be heavily abused, but it can also be used to help medically. It's not a complete evil.

It just depends how it's used and at what concentration for what duration.

Because the chirean lady had used like a drop or so, but Singed gave Viktor a whole syringe. Not only that, but the chirean lady had mixed it with some sort of specific healing concoction while Singed seemed to give it to Viktor without a specific formula.
